I don’t know much of how to use layers w/ digital art, I wish I knew the secrets of procreate.
I find traditional feels easier but unfortunately there is no undo or layers :( so digital is good as well, I think I draw better traditionally but I like both
I am here for an unusual reason. Very pleased to find your Channel because now I'm a subscriber but I just watched a video from Dr squish where she opened up some adorable recyclables that you had sent her. I was amazed that she opened them all and didn't get one double that's almost unheard of. I just love them and wanted to get some for my granddaughters but for little ones duplicate disappointment is just not fun or worth it. Anyway I'm wondering do they have codes on them. Or are you just amazingly lucky at picking them out. I hope you don't mind but the holidays are coming and I have stockings to stuff. LOL look forward to enjoying your Channel.

Thanks for the review. Tbh I started digital art like a year and change now. I tried to use my friends wacom but realized I like being able to draw directly on screen so I came across my beloved Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 for 170. Knowing that this stand alone tablet is 270 or so makes me wanna save up for one or see if I can get one for Christmas. Especially since my tab 7 is running low on storage (really don’t wanna delete my art pieces)

I've watched a dozen standalone tablet reviews and several ones for this specific one the past hour and you know what, I'm gonna take the plunge and buy it! Nervous but excited. Your video gave me that final push. I've had the standard black slab, then a screen tablet, but I always missed the feel of having something you can just comfortably curl in on the sofa with and just doodle like with a sketchbook. So I hope the picassotab xl delivers on that (and that the lag isnt noticeable enough to be irritating ;W;). thanks for the review! and your art is very cute!

@@vizkorz2096 i havent used it in some weeks but its perfectly functional and does what it should! takes some time to get used to, try out the right art apps for you, but it would be the same with a more expensive model. also the pen is battery powered! all in all id say the purchase is totally worth it and a great alternative to the pricier stuff.

Got this in my cart on Amazon because iPad Pro is currently outside of my budget and I’m wondering why they don’t make standalone drawing tablets more often. Most I see have to connect to a computer.
My daughter got one for her birthday, and O was blown away. I’ve been the iPad rout, I have a Surface Pro, but Microsoft apps suck. The Sketchbook app was great.
She was showing me how to set it to purchase on a later date, and bam mine is coming Friday! What a happy accident!
So buying this for Christmas gift so love it

Any good with technical drawings? I like to design blueprints for starships, city plans, building elevations for my ttrpg. Usually pretty rough but i still try to be precise with my lines and angles and curves. May be drafting is just outdated for most gear nowdays, lol.
I understand why companies use I understand why companies use Android and why like it has the Android look and the Android feel and every device is like that. it's basically open source so it can work with anything and people can kind of do what they want with it but I don't understand the obsession with having the Google Play store like be usable like does that is that what everyone's looking for it's like if you get a specific device like a drawing tablet it's like you don't want a random drawing app from the Google Play store like either you want procreate so you have to get an apple or you want a proprietary version of that which is apparently is what they preload on it but then it's like well then don't have the rest of this like stuff on it cuz it just slows the tablet down and makes it less responsive

This is a very good tablet for beginners! It's not too expensive, and it does all the things a drawing tablet needs to do peetty well. And like the person above me said, I don't think you'd need to get anything else with it, I'm not a professional when it comes to digital art, but I think it comes with all the basic necessities.
@@mickastley872 I just got mine, i agree with you, it's a drawing tablet first media tablet second. If you want something to use mainly for art at a decent price ,then this is it. As a media tablet it's not that much different to a Amazon fire tablet. Artwork does look good on this tablet👍
Imgetting one for my 6yo son. Its relatively cheap, portable, can do other things like youtube kids and disney+, and he can draw his robots and space monsters to his heart's content.
@@shadowhenge7118 it’s a great little tablet. My granddaughter has done a lot with it. It’s a normal tablet with all the regular apps on it, plus the drawing app and stylus. Just don’t let him take the stylus apart, lol. I had to fix my granddaughters stylus because she had to take it apart to see how it worked and lost a piece. Grandma to the rescue! lol

Ive had mine for almost a year its nice but it froze up
At first it worked great but the pen just stopped working and the tablet takes forever to charge.

Ok so far same tablet modle and it runs badly it crahed opening the provided drawing app so. Cant run over 30fp even on home and lock screen so nah i dont recamend just dive deep and get little costly for a better start into digital. Dont wast time fixing it if it crashes because its a paint to get it to run smoother

you can't connect it to a computer, and since its an android tablet you can't use adobe animate. i just realized how old this comment was but im still replying bcus it might help someone else

I bought this and it is REALLY BAD especially if you’re trying to animate the pen will keep drawing while hovering it constantly goes to other apps randomly and the pen CONSTANTLY disconnects
Enjoy the video but I don’t recommend buying it
