Mask of the Quiet One served me well when I was trying to solo some stuff. Having adds provide you health lets me stay in the fight longer and actually finish the encounter rather than not having enough of a health pool to get through it.
Does Datto not realize that not only are sub machine guns a lot better but Peacekeepers gives you like 50 mobility when you have a sub machine gun out? THAT’S mobility!
I feel like you're sleeping on khepris horn a little bit. The fire blast can build up stacks of roaring flames, and create sunspots, which is pretty nice. It basically becomes another grenade, and allows one third of your ability kit to actually interact with the rest of your abilities, which I really appreciate
Severance enclosure, Actium War Rig and Dunemarchers are still my most used exotic armour pieces. Severance, just due to its explosive power and enemy clearing abilities. War Rig, for sweet business and other MG reasons and Dunemarchers cause after they got fixed again its always fun using solar throwing hammers and getting chain lightning from a distance is great.
Im getting killed quite often by ACD/o feedback fence lately, it is always really surprising when you just die because someone punched someone in the near area
Notice that when you die to ACDO feedback, it's most often actually the arcing effect from dunemarchers. For some reason, Bungie failed to rename that.
I also like Khepri's horn as a niche in PvE with a warmind cell build, using the mod that generates on solar aoe kills. The fire wave from the barricade does a lot of damage (its basically a short range thermite grenade that moves faster) and will consistently create cells when you throw it down in a group. It works well bottom tree cause it also makes sunspots
Severance enclosure might not be "good" but it's a very fun way to clear in basic to mid tier content. I use middle tree throwing hammer and it's just very satisfying.
Dunemarchers will always be my go to exotic. Having the speed boost and having Linear Actuators proc on melee is such a good trash clearer. My fave titan exotic
Lion Rampant is my all-time fav titan exotic, and I keep them on 24-7; there is no disadvantage to them, the distance gained is huge and reduces nothing else unlike to the opposite extreme with Icefall.. it is the topmost tier for me
Icefall Mantle is insanely underrated. Don't use it like a barricade, use it like a warlock healing rift. Pop it when you're trying to get a rez, when you're low on hp, when you're about to get pushed by a bunch of adds, or when you're about to get close to a boss. Don't try and pop it to help clear a room, pop it when you need to stand your ground. Combined with Whisper of chains and max resilience, it's very powerful. Its saved my life in so many endgame activities since I've started using it. Sure, the reduced mobility sucks, but if you use it as a free overshield when you're about to die, you usually don't need to worry about that because the shield will go down by the time your health is back to full and then you can safely run away.
I feel like peacekeepers are super underrated by most people, even Datto. Yes smgs aren’t the hottest thing in pvp, but the right ones can hit close to 20m before falloff(max range multimac falls off at ~25m), and the benefits are absolutely insane. You get functionally an eternal killing wind, quickdraw, snapshot, and near instant auto loading on all your smgs. With peacekeepers it’s actually viable to run double smg and zoom around the map, not to mention the ease of chaining kills when reload speed and handling is no longer a problem.
Now, with primary ammo endless, the combination of Sweet Bussines and Actium War Rig is great, it's basically the "never reload" build. It's a must for clearing out ads.
A thing bout Icefall, you can stack its shield with some other overshields, like Heir Apparent and Saint 14's (might be wrong on the last, it was tested in mayhem). I like to use it with Heir though because the Icefall breaks off before the shield from Heir, so you got all this tank, and can quickly get out if your getting low enough
I feel "Severence Enclosure" is so underrated and slept on. There no such thing as too many explosions in my opinion. Combined it with Warmind Cell mods and weapons with Firefly and you become a one man 4th of July.
Heart of inmost light is the primary exotic you want to use if you like behemoth titan. Get discipline up to tier 8 or more, get strength as high as you can, then run cryoclasm and tectonic harvest. Whisper of shards, Whisper of bonds, Whisper of hedrons. Get the elemental shards mod and you are set for the best PvE stasis build. If you have ager's scepter you won't use any other pve loadout I promise.
I think Icefall mantle is bugged. If you get another overshield, the initial overshield time is reset, but the shield is not restored, and when the initial time expires, the mobility nerf is not cleansed. Besides, class item mods to restore barricade energy (dynamo) does restore the energy for a brief moment but then reset it to zero. And after the effect is over, the boost of the dynamo is not obtained.
What stats should I be prioritizing for PVP? I see a bunch of top rank Titans with Recovery>Resilience>Mobility, but Datto mentions PVP now is all about speed. I'm guessing I prioritize str/int/dex by how I want to use my abilities
Datto i would reconsider the Citan's PVP ranking. It is AT LEAST a 4/5 with a 8-10 resilience built which is also quite handy in combating stasis breakout. In 3v3 gamemodes as well, Citans is an incredibly useful tool. You can hold an entire lane by yourself most of the time.
Feedback Fence in my opinion is really good when your playing highly aggressive with Stasis + Shotgun because people's brains tend to turn off when they see you in melee range shotgun in hand
10:32 unless the perk pool for the weapon has changed, One-Two Punch can still roll on a Xenoclast IV from the strike playlist. D2Gunsmith still has it listed on their configurator. I can't confirm its accuracy though.
I've been playing with icefall and you can still shot, punch, and super cast so it works really well with striker and top tree defender with overshield refresh punches.. still working on it
1:39 Hey that's me! (Of course he doesn't show the clip where I killed him twice that round, but then why would he, lol.) I guess I'm also the only one that used Kepri's horn regularly. It's great because you can run a different subclass, and still have a solar "ability". Great for clear a room with a few solar shields.
I am very late to this party but Severance Enclosure is a fun one in any event where a hemmer throw is enough to kill any lil add to clear an entire area. It's fun having basically infinite hammers to throw into groups and see it destroy every other unit there.
Datto plays so much Destiny that even he is re-using old content :D I jest, love your vids and you and i still watched the whole video, just because i enjoy listening to what (and how!) you have to say
I hope Datto doesn't sleep on Contraverse Hold for the Warlock tier list. Combining them with overcharged Axion Bolts + 3 or 4 stacks of Firepower allows for near constant grenade spam. It's excellent for add clear even in high-level content.
i am a warlock main and as a devourlock main especially being a sunspot titan with hallowfire heart in the strike playlist with brawler or grenadier is actually really fun to me, just the fact i can charge my super and without sun spots have my abilities charge back in like 2-3 seconds is very fun, on top of the instant healing, and if you walk in a sunspot for even 1 second you have more grenades than you can throw
You severely underrate Heart of Inmost Light, which gives you one shot sticky grenades every time you use your barricade, which then recharge your grenade in about ten seconds utilising both sunspots and the empowerment from HoIL. I don't understand how you can value the extended timer (which is only useful for moving from spot to spot) of Phoenix Cradle more highly than the extra damage AND faster cooldowns from HoIL!
If you run heart of inmost light with middle tree sunbreaker you can just keep using the throwing hammer and use discipline mods make grenades regen faster. That's probably the best way to use inmost light.
Mask of the Quiet one is incredibly strong to be honest. It look very bad but the amount of time it can save you from death and the amount of energy you get will help you using back your stasis. I assure you, it’s an incredible exotic even if his passives are on the lower side.
Hear me out, Mk.44s may not be great by themselves. BUT if you rock the Arc, Combat Style Mod, Heavy Handed, you will have infinite Melting Point melees (assuming you have the charges of light to back it up) This makes bosses like Sedia, Atracks-1, Shuro Chi, and other bosses much easier for my team since our Hunter buddies don't have to worry about tethering and can just run Celestial instead for extra DPS. I'm begging you to try this sometime. Mk.44 Gang
im not sure if you crazy with the Icefall because i dont really see a slow effect happening neither, its definitely not SLOW, maybe not run at full speed but definitely running at least , might be the sword attacks that trick the brain or something lol..but im with you on that, definitely looks like there is no slow happening
I got the SMG legs to work ok on regular strikes. Just keep switch back and forth between 2 SMG and you essentially get infinite fire since by the time your current smg is out of ammo the other one is automatically reloaded.
Even though most people won't care I just have to say I am proud of my titan. I use the bottom tree solar class for regen for health (on solar ability kills) and regen for melee and grenade. I have mask of the quiet one to help with the above mentioned regen. (health, melee, grenade) I have 100 resilience to take as much damage as I can. I like to use Bad Juju ( for super) when I am not using Ace of Spades for warmind cells, or Outbreak for PVE. My solar class also helps with warmind cells. (Wrath of Rasputin, burning cells, global reach) I have powerful friends for more mobility. (+20) So I feel that most of my bases are covered. Thank you for any one that actually read all of this. I am a solo player 95% of the time so I don't have someone to talk about this to that would understand fully. I also understand that this probably isn't a great build but I enjoy it because it's mine. Have a nice day. : )
I prefer icefall to citans in PvP personally. Citans might technically block more damage, but people just won't fight you if you're under it. With Icefall, people tend not to notice you have more health until it's too late, at least outside of trials. I've been running it pretty consistently with a 100 resilience build and you can take a felwinters to the face. Admittedly, you're one punch from death at that point, but it gives you an extra second to respond and once you take that first hit, you can jump and move again. It's still not high tier must use exotic, but I would say it has helped me more than most other exotics ive used in PVP.
Synthoceps all the way. Titan hammer build is super tanky in pve plus your melee lunch will be 7,5 m in pvp so with a nice shotgun your kill time is very short :) good video about the exotics i learned something
Am I the only one who runs Dunemarchers with tiny hammers? Proccing the chain lightning from the hammer's point of impact makes Dunemarchers a no-risk option and it's hella fun for casual play.
A strong hold and lament build by its self is A tier and is slept on so much, you have unlimited guard with strong holds + lament requires you to guard = extra 2 free max dmg hits.
Armamentarium is actually pretty good for the Behemoth subclass, having an extra 'nade never hurts, especially with Duskfield. My other recommend for Behemoth is Severance Enclosure, works pretty good if you can actually get a melee kill (enemies keep slipping off me in the charge)
Datto i have a question not for exotic armor but for weapons. I trust your opinion so I’m asking: Should i still use lament? Ima titan main that prefer close range. Some people told me to stop using it and going anarchy instead. Should i?
I would contend Synthoceps are better than Worm Gods in most scenarios. Yeah, the buff damage is lower ultimately, but Synthoceps are easier to proc (since the radius it counts as "surrounded" is quite a bit larger than the Surrounded weapon perk), the buff last upwards of 4 times as long once procced before needing to be reset AND Synthos buff super damage as well as melee, unlike WGC. Factoring in difficulty levels means you can take things a tad more cautiously with buff duration, and panic supering is actually benefited by the exotic. My favorite build is Synthos w/ 1-2 punch on bottom tree Striker, the healing on melee makes the aggressive playstyle easier to maintain, and need I list the benefits of a damage boosted super that intrinsically refunds super energy on kill?
I have 2 crazy builds: with kephris horn, that allows to infinitely cycle abilities + super. And a build with stand aside that allows you to shoulder charge about 5 times in a row
Pair Strong hold with Lament, use lucent and charge harvester on top of a charged with light build focused on stacks and high energy fire. Lament is now Raid DPS God and before you say stomp. You combo right and you ignore stomp since guard attacks have tracking. Strong hold is in somewhat the same position as Actium in my opinion. If you like swords, use it
Wormgod Caress with Monte Carlo and throwing hammers used to be a go to for me. Throw a good One-Two Punch shotgun in the mix and it become ultra-deadly and super fun
doomfang with bubble is actually really good. Doomfang gives you super energy on charged melee kllls. And you get melee energy back on final blows while your defensive strike is active.

It's more than likely Dunemarchers. DMs arc damage says Feedback Fences for some reason.
Yes I always use khepris if I’m using bottom tree sunbreaker/warmind cell build
i love it in pvp too with 100 resilience on bottom tree sunbreaker. it spawns sunspots as well
Severance enclosure might not be "good" but it's a very fun way to clear in basic to mid tier content. I use middle tree throwing hammer and it's just very satisfying.
You have no idea how long I have waited for this
When you're here to support your mans Datto, and make sure he puts your favorite exotics first
I love it how everyone keeps re-telling the tale about how a shotgun drops with one two punch.
Definitely a Retold Tale, isn't it?
Dunemarchers will always be my go to exotic. Having the speed boost and having Linear Actuators proc on melee is such a good trash clearer. My fave titan exotic
Lion Rampant is my all-time fav titan exotic, and I keep them on 24-7; there is no disadvantage to them, the distance gained is huge and reduces nothing else unlike to the opposite extreme with Icefall.. it is the topmost tier for me
1:49 : Is this gun still available in season 14 or has it seen sunset?
Yes but unless you already bought season 13 you have to buy beyond light deluxe to get its quest
@@vedkhandalkar given there's only 1 season left, I'd rather wait for season 16 then
Icefall Mantle is insanely underrated.
This is a great video! Thumbs up! Do you have another one for Hunters and Warlocks?
nice - skullfort and cradle are amazing. I dont have cuirass yet. really needed this recap right now.
1:37 what is the name of the firearm you are using?, it looks like a winchester 22, very beautiful
Dead mans tale an Exotic Scott rifle
Dunemarchers are basically my permanent equip. Better movement paired with the ability to damage (or straight up kill weaker) enemies is so valuable.
What stats should I be prioritizing for PVP? I see a bunch of top rank Titans with Recovery>Resilience>Mobility, but Datto mentions PVP now is all about speed. I'm guessing I prioritize str/int/dex by how I want to use my abilities
10:31 The Xenoclast (drops at the end of strikes) also drops with one-two punch. Just for clarification
Edit: Retold tale can also drop with it
Thanks for the content- nothing like a fresh datto video on a Tuesday
I was wondering when this was coming out. Thanks
Possibly my least played class tbh but they’ve got some bangers. Can’t wait for the Hunter list.
Feedback Fence in my opinion is really good when your playing highly aggressive with Stasis + Shotgun because people's brains tend to turn off when they see you in melee range shotgun in hand
I am awaiting the 2022 version of this vid.
What's the ornament on your helmet Datto? I can't figure out which one is
i think it's a dawning helmet but i can't really tell
Datto plays so much Destiny that even he is re-using old content :D
I jest, love your vids and you and i still watched the whole video, just because i enjoy listening to what (and how!) you have to say
Heart of inmost light requires thinking to be done unlike phoenix cradle. That’s probably why
Actium war rig is also really good with a substinence rampage gnawing hunger, as as long as you get a kil every now and then, you never have to reload
Now I have to try this.
Datto having Danielle help him with testing is as optimal as can be imo
If you run heart of inmost light with middle tree sunbreaker you can just keep using the throwing hammer and use discipline mods make grenades regen faster. That's probably the best way to use inmost light.
Mask of the Quiet one is incredibly strong to be honest.
It look very bad but the amount of time it can save you from death and the amount of energy you get will help you using back your stasis. I assure you, it’s an incredible exotic even if his passives are on the lower side.
I still prefer the OG version where it started regen on void kills. Makes me sad every time I look at it.
Now this... this does bring a smile to my face
(health, melee, grenade)
I have 100 resilience to take as much damage as I can.
I like to use Bad Juju ( for super) when I am not using Ace of Spades for warmind cells, or Outbreak for PVE.
My solar class also helps with warmind cells. (Wrath of Rasputin, burning cells, global reach)
I have powerful friends for more mobility. (+20)
So I feel that most of my bases are covered.
Thank you for any one that actually read all of this. I am a solo player 95% of the time so I don't have someone to talk about this to that would understand fully.
I also understand that this probably isn't a great build but I enjoy it because it's mine. Have a nice day. : )
An Insurmountable Skullfort is my go to PvE as a Thundercrash Titan. It's actually great at clearing mobs with the melee recharge ability.
Yes that’s the only proper way to use dunemarchers
@@darthwisetheplagueis5869 I always thought so. I just never see anyone else use it or hear anyone talk about it.
Should i?
Dont write off severance enclosure. Using mid tree solar, the throwing hammers also deal the explosion and can become an ad clearing monster
Barricades really need to be curved at the ends so that you have a little more safety with spash damage.
I've been waiting for this series
I will swear by my niche Actium War Rig til the day I die, because never reloading Xenophage ever is beautiful.
I love using it with my Thermal Erosion + Backup Mag cause it basically lets you throw all your heavy ammo down range at 900rpm lmao
If you like swords, use it
10:32 one two punch actually also drops on xenoclast and retold tale, but there aren’t any other options currently
Dattooooo! Love the content brotha! Keep it comin’! 😎
Good lawd I been waiting on this for a while
Oh Datto you know exactly what I need 😍😍♥️♥️
Stopped playing like 2 years ago, but still watch your videos 👍
If you were going to come back I'd probably recommend to do it now bc this season is actually really good and I have faith next season will be too
Heart of Inmost as a Behemoth with Salvations means you have infinite ability regeneration, as long as heavy ammo spawns for those bits of downtime
Been waiting for this it's been months
