I clean empty homes for a living and I usually use the professional strength easy off that works faster. I heat the oven to 200° then turn the oven off and spray easy off professional in the oven and let it sit for about 10 minutes then I wipe it all out and I dont have to scrub. If anything is left I use my razor blade to scrape it off. As all cleaners know im sure if you have to scrub alot with your hands it makes your hands so sore so anything I can do to not have to scrub things with alot of pressure im all for. Maybe its not the same for everyone but I work a lot of hours, at times I've worked 24-36 hours at a time depending on how many houses I have in a day and the time they need to be completed by so when I put in that many hours my hands really suffer and get swollen and hurt. totally agree.I had a hard time with the easy off fume free, though finally got 90%shinny for my small counter top oven. I used to work with the old easy off formula and was way faster. Next time I will turn to the heavy duty version easy off.

I bought the fume free oven cleaner because I heard those cleaners are really strong. I don't see that as good for me or my cats (cats are very sensitive to lots of things). Please wear gloves when working with Easy Off if possible. If you’ve ever worked with it, you know it can make your hands feel slimy. This is the product literally breaking down your skin. It’s very good at its job and it’s best not to let it treat your hands like your oven lol.
Greetings internet people! I waited 5 years! However, today was the day. Its clean and the process was relatively pain free. Didn't use a scraper, maybe next time. Most of the junk came right out. Went with the Easy Off Non Fume spray. Sprayed. Let it sit for about 4 hours. Sprayed it again. Waited 45 minutes. Got after it with steel wool. Next, lots of Viva paper towels. Just brought it up to 475 and was worried there would be smoke or fumes or demons!!! Everything is fine.

I'm stopping on the way home from work to pick up some fume free easy off and maybe my man will clean it just as well as you did hahaha! Great video and great channel!
I dont recommend the self clean feature on ovens. I have another video entitled “how to clean an oven” and in that video I talk about self cleaning ovens.
Thumbs up but please wear protective gloves anytime you use Easy Off! I wonder why you did not cover/wrap the heating elements (upper and lower) before spraying. I do that (1) to protect them from the highly corrosive chemical (2) to prevent chemical residues and toxic vapours ending up in my food (since the elements cannot be soaped like the oven surfaces once grime is removed).
I like to feel what I’m cleaning thats why I have never worn gloves. I have know issue with people who prefer to wear them though. As far as covering the heating elements it’s not necessary you just clean them off along with the rest of the oven👍
@@CleanWithConfidence So it's safe to use Easy-Off on the heating element too? I read somewhere that it's not safe to. I have the Fume-Free version since I don't want to get headaches from strong fumes in an enclosed kitchen or have potentially dangerous fumes lingering in the oven. But not sure what to do about that bottom heating element.
