Let me know in the comments when was the last time you cleaned your oven? I'll go first...it has been at least a year since I deep cleaned my oven and it really shows 😳
OMG YOU ROCK. THIS OVEN INSIDE LOOKS LIKE MINE. I'VE ALWAYS CLEANED THE GLASS DOOR. IT'S NOT PERFECT BUT DEFINITELY HAPPY I KEPT THAT PART UP. THANKS FOR DOING ALL THE REASEARCH. HONESTLY I HAVE A SELF CLEANING OVEN BUT THE REVIEWS ARE HORRIBLE ABOUT USING IT SO AT 82 YO I WILL TRY TO SEE IF I CAN ACTUALLY DO ALL THE BENDING AND SCRUBBING INSIDE. MUCH APPRECIATE THE TIME YOU TOOK TO DO THIS AND FOR ALL THE TIPS.
This is exactly what I needed. I wanted to see how well it worked on a moderately dirty oven within that 1 hour 15 minute timeframe. It definitely removed more than I expected but a full 24 hours would've looked much better and been less elbow grease! Thanks for trying this out and posting this video. Very helpful.
You’re welcome! I’m happy my video was helpful. I was pleasantly surprised how well Easy Off worked especially without the use of heat. The cold method is a lot quicker and I didn’t have to heat up the house with the self cleaning cycle. Thank you for watching.
Your oven cleaned up nicely compared to the before pics. You could have gotten the rest of those baked-on spots off very easily with a flat razor blade! Just gently scrape the glass on the door as well as the metal on the door and any spots inside the walls of the oven, and you'll be amazed at how well it cleans off the baked on stuff that the spray didn't remove! It's a game changer, and if you do it right, you won't scratch the glass or oven at all. Give it a try the next time you clean your oven, and you'll marvel at the results and the huge difference it makes! :)
I’ m pretty impressed how well it worked especially in a cold oven. I’m going to try the overnight directions to try and get the last bit of baked on mess cleaned off. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for getting right to the darn punch. Too many videos before yours kept talking and blah blah for like 10 min I had to sit through 🙄😒 Thank you for a to-the-point , comprehensive tutorial.
Thank you for showing this. I am moving into an apartment and the oven has burnt food on the racks and oven. I told the landlord that I needed it clean. He says he will do it, but I realize he isn't going to. I want to try this fume free product. I am going to do the 24 hour version. Thanks for showing that we can use it on the glass too, I was wondering about that. Thank you for sharing!😊
I usually only clean mine in winter to take advantage of the heat! But this is a great option… I like that it takes less than 4 HOURS!! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! I was very happy with the results using no heat. Next time, I’m going to try letting the oven cleaner sit overnight to help tackle really tough messes.
I got the same results as you did after my 1st round of cleaning & was a bit disappointed that it didnt come out as clean as I hoped it would. My oven hadn't been cleaned for a long time so that's probably the reason why it didnt come clean after just one spray. So after watching your video, I sprayed it again this morning and actually sprayed the top of the oven. I also sprayed the sides and door for the second time. The bottom came clean the first time so I skipped that part. I actually covered the vents bc in the manual it says (to cover the vents while cleaning out the interior of the oven) I also used towels to cover the bottom and floor (which I didnt do the first time around). Tip: I actually used a putty knife to clean the glass. I gently scrubbed the greased and grime off the glass and it came out really clean. I am definitely going to try the vinegar and water method once I'm done. Thank You for posting your video. I was a bit embarrassed to post my before picture bc of how dirty my oven was.
Thanks for the video! I have the exact same oven 😂 the steam clean option is ok for weekly cleaning but I definitely need something for heavier grease and bi-yearly cleaning. Appreciate ya!
I clean my oven at least once annually. I have used Easy Off for years on electric ovens, but recently moved and was unsure if Easy Off is safe for gas ovens. Glad to see it is. I definitely recommend using the 24 hour method with Easy Off, you still have to put in some elbow grease but not nearly as much as the 1.25 hour method seemed to take.
I was a bit nervous using Easy Off in my gas oven since it was the first time using it but I was glad to find out it can be used in gas ovens. I’ll have to try using the 24 hour method especially when my oven hasn’t been cleaned in so long. Thanks for watching.
I just finished cleaning my (electric) oven with Easy-Off Heavy Duty oven cleaner. Followed instructions to heat the oven to 200 degrees for 20 minutes prior, then sprayed the cleaner on. Gloves, mask, fumes, etc.. Let it sit for an hour-plus, then wiped it off with a sponge. Result: my oven was worse than yours to begin with, but EVERY bit of grease & gunk came off with a single swipe of a damp sponge, including on the front glass. Now my oven is sparkling like new! Conclusion: The fume-free stuff is easier, safer and less hassle to use, but the heavy-duty stuff does a better job of cleaning without relying on elbow grease.
How do you get inside the little pocket holes on the side on the inside of the oven? My kid dropped some food in there and I don’t know how to reach it
I learned you can use a straight edge razor blade to get the baked on grease off the glass. Mine came off completely. Glass only for that method, and it was after I did the Easy Off.
Please lmk where to point the spray nozzle if there's no black dot on the can. I wasn't able to get thru using the phone # on the can to ask the Easy Off people.
Maybe you could cover it with painter’s tape and spray with the tape on. Also one video showed that she sprayed the product onto a rag and then wiped the area near the element.
Ive used both kinds of sprays according to directions and got the same results as you did . You would think according to what can says the results would be better .probably best idea is to clean iven from get go monthly
Cleaning monthly is a great idea. I’m trying my best to keep on top of the oven cleaning to avoid the greasy disaster I previously had inside the oven.
Thanks for the honest review Michelle! If that were me though I would be very disappointed with Easy off...honestly warm soapy water would have been just as good..or better...really a waste of money and time
I live alone and My 2 year old GE electric oven needs to be cleaned & I had brought the yellow heavy duty can & my question is do I necessarily have to preheat the oven before spraying inside the oven?
No, but heat causes the product to activate quickly which I find helpful. Typically, I preheat... allow the oven to cool down 5 minutes, apply product and wipe with a old damp cloth (rinse and repeat) followed by a little soap (Dawn) water wipe down (helps remove any product residual) and it's good to go. If I have additional time; it will sit for 24 hours prior to cleaning. Hopefully, that helps!
Leave the spray on for at least 2 hours and use a razor to scrape off the baked on residue left behind. It literally takes 1 minute to scrape the leftover grease off the glass.
I had to really scrub to get the stubborn burnt on messes off after two applications using the 1 hour 15 minute method. Some of the burnt on mess was really tough. Have you tried the overnight method?
I was able to clean the microfibre. As much as I prefer to use microfibre and reusable cloths, next time I’m going to use paper towel because of all the very messy dirt and grease in the oven.
Okay hear me out. I let it sit for 24hrs. Without wiping after the first 24 hrs. I layered with another coat and let that sit for another 24… maybe longer to be honest and when I finally did wipe it off. Everything came up easily. You may just need to allow it to set a little longer.
😳😳😳 Why would you let your oven get that dirty to begin with. I wipe mine down at least once a month and if anything comes out while baking it gets cleaned immediately so it's not baked on like cement.
Hahaha yes, it would be a lot easy to replace. I haven’t deep cleaned the oven before and it was tough getting to all the areas especially wiping down the back of the oven.
For really tough messes it will be a good idea to leave it overnight. I was able to get the oven clean but it did take a lot of elbow grease. Thanks for watching.

I used this to clean move out apartments but left spray on overnight and it worked pretty well. Great video.

3:27 its good to have a nice puppy dog helping 🙂
I have never cleaned out my oven, but I’ll buy this and give it a try. I’m so tired of looking at the dirty oven door! Thanks for the how-to!
The oven door always seems to be the dirtiest part of the oven. Now that my door is clean I can actually see the food cooking inside now.
I usually only clean mine in winter to take advantage of the heat! But this is a great option… I like that it takes less than 4 HOURS!! Thanks for sharing!
I waited way too long and should have cleaned it out in the winter but of course put it off and just closed the door and pretended it was clean lol.
Great job on the honesty of this product on a truly used oven
Thank you! I was very happy with the results using no heat. Next time, I’m going to try letting the oven cleaner sit overnight to help tackle really tough messes.

You’re a real person. Don’t embarrassed! We are all here because our ovens look the same!!😂
Thanks for the video! I have the exact same oven 😂 the steam clean option is ok for weekly cleaning but I definitely need something for heavier grease and bi-yearly cleaning. Appreciate ya!

Oh God, I have this on my list for in the morning while Stanley Steemer is cleaning sectional and stairs.😢😢 Thanks for your video!!

I've got a heating element near the bottom of the oven just above the dirtiest, greasiest area i most need to clean. So what do i do about that?
Maybe you could cover it with painter’s tape and spray with the tape on. Also one video showed that she sprayed the product onto a rag and then wiped the area near the element.
Wrap aluminum foil around the entire heating element while you're spraying/cleaning the oven.
Thanks for the video. Have you tried using Bar Keepers Friend on the residual stains?
Great video using Easy Off without the smelly fumes! Time for me to clean my oven!
Thank you! It is a great feeling to check off cleaning the oven on my to-do list.
Can this take off aluminum foil from the bottom of the oven without ruining the self clean
Ive used both kinds of sprays according to directions and got the same results as you did . You would think according to what can says the results would be better .probably best idea is to clean iven from get go monthly

Thank you for being so honest 😊you’re amazing
I used the original easy off with 2 coats and let it sit over night … then used a scrub daddy to scrub it off then wiped with a microfiber towel
Yup
I use the blue cap. No harsh smell.
I spray the door glass with Windex and wipe with a paper towel.
ugh i accidentally sprayed inside the fan bc the spray was faulty and now i have no idea how to take the freaking fan cover off
Why not let it sit overnight or 24hrs?
Leave the spray on for at least 2 hours and use a razor to scrape off the baked on residue left behind. It literally takes 1 minute to scrape the leftover grease off the glass.
I just used this exact same thing the other day and my stove still has oven stain and drip marks. Did nothing for me
Ok so I didn't wait long enough 🤣
Wow big difference nice job 👏
Thank you. It feels good to be able to see through the oven glass door now.
I still have some deep hard to scrub burnt on patina in my oven after several applications and scrubs it still there.
I had to really scrub to get the stubborn burnt on messes off after two applications using the 1 hour 15 minute method. Some of the burnt on mess was really tough. Have you tried the overnight method?
My spray cap is not working, it's quite tight
Thanks! I will be get that easy off cleaner.
Did your microfiber cloths come out of the wash clean after cleaning up the oven??
I was able to clean the microfibre. As much as I prefer to use microfibre and reusable cloths, next time I’m going to use paper towel because of all the very messy dirt and grease in the oven.
May be save some old sponges and cloths. Lowe’s carries a tougher paper in a box that is rinsable, you can toss after the cleaning.
Okay hear me out. I let it sit for 24hrs. Without wiping after the first 24 hrs. I layered with another coat and let that sit for another 24… maybe longer to be honest and when I finally did wipe it off. Everything came up easily. You may just need to allow it to set a little longer.
Well done video! Just what I wanted to see.
😳😳😳
Why would you let your oven get that dirty to begin with.
I wipe mine down at least once a month and if anything comes out while baking it gets cleaned immediately so it's not baked on like cement.
I used this in my gas stove all the time. However, I place aluminum foil in the holes.
Thank you, I appreciated this! 😊
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching.
Leave the foam on overnight & it works great.
Do you have to cover it with cellophane wrap to get the 24 hr results? I saw that in another video.
This stuff definatly works but it 100% of the times stop spraying before the pan is finished. Anybody else have this issue?
same thing here!i'm not sure if there is a way to fix this, its really annoying, it stops spraying before the bottle is empty
Dear, u know u can take the door off!
Help… I can’t get the lid off the can
Best result is by leaving on over night
Its easier to get a new stove. I dont like using the high heat so I use this method but its a lot of work. Magic sponge works good on the glasd.
Hahaha yes, it would be a lot easy to replace. I haven’t deep cleaned the oven before and it was tough getting to all the areas especially wiping down the back of the oven.
You should of did it overnight
For really tough messes it will be a good idea to leave it overnight. I was able to get the oven clean but it did take a lot of elbow grease. Thanks for watching.
Always use gloves please!!!!
