All these meditation advisers say to just observe the breath, don't change it in any way. But every time I observe my breath I find myself altering it and breathing more deeply and in a controlled way.

I've watched other meditation for beginners videos and the person who made the video insists on talking all the way through. Thank you for getting me started and then being silent until the end. This was very helpful to me.

Thankyou. He said to observe breath in thru nostrils and out thru nostrils. Most people say to breathe out thru mouth. Thanks.

Thank you for sharing this, can you define - observe the breath?

    • @mrcooldudelikefood

observing the breath is letting go of the will to control it

Observe the breath is just that, just put attention in your breathing do not think about anything else.

pay attention to the way it enters your nostrils, how your lungs get filled with air. pay attention to every detail of the breath

In the latest video on the Practical Health channel, it says that there are only 2 types of meditation practices - concentration meditation and mindfulness meditation. Basically, every time I focus on something, only on that object, I meditate. Is it really the case?

The piano music is too fast and too loud. Very distracting. It took away from the otherwise excellent beginner meditation for me. I need either silence or very slow 432 H or some other healing Herz frequencies.
