No they have head gasket issues cause people run them low on coolant, run too much % antifreeze, clogged radiator with corrosion, or 5hey let them plug up while mowing. As designed the thermosiphon system will cool that thing all day running a ditch pump stationary in the summer heat at full operating rpm. That's what they were designed to do. Old american farm tractors like the Farmall cub were same type system. But I agree, if your in there and cooling system is not in too top shape a water pump will help. But is no solution to a bad radiator or operator error

We like ATF and acetone, works great. Like you, we have not tried it on a stuck engine

i have a yanmar, i really like it, its the 226d 22hp 3 cyl. with loader, snow plow, rear blade and brush hog, tractor has 3 speed & neutral on the trans and 3 speed plus neutral and revers on the column (power shift). once you select the gear on trans you can use the power shift without the clutch.

Well that sucks you gotta resleeve and build it... but i guess for $400 can't bitch. hah. My father about 2 months ago bought a little Satoh S370 Compact we are working on.

dont know where you got parts prices from but hoye tractor has everything needed to rebuild that engine including valves probable right around $1k. $1,400 for a compact tractor built as tough as those yammers is a pretty good deal compared to what a new one costs.

      Thanks I appreciate it.
Feel free to subscribe, I have a big tractor project coming up this winter, I am building a track conversion on a Belarus 250as & building a single arm telescoping loader for it 👍

That thing is worth thousands as a parts tractor if you part it out!

A lot of people would rather not hear music on a tractor repair video.
It's quite distracting and irritating to a lot of people.
Only one out of every twenty-seven people that don't like something will ever say anything.
That means for every negative comment you get there will be about 26 other people that wanted to complain but didn't.
I hope you appreciate honest comments.
You can save the music for your music videos.

Awesome, I've never seen acetone with transmission fluid used for that.

That's the first time using it on a stuck engine and so far I'm impressed!

Thanks for reminding me to hit the down button because of the music.
