    You don't have to start with a crazy setup. Have any questions? Ask below!

      Hey Oscar, can you do a video on lighting for mobile detailing? I recently started my detailing business, and having to pass up on clients that want their car detailed during the week due to running out of daylight is really cutting into my profitability.

    • @Easyazcarcleaning
      @Easyazcarcleaning ปีที่แล้ว

      Love your encouraging words Oscar. You're right, you don't need EVERYTHING before you start.
      Would you like to see my Ford Fiesta mobile detailing setup? The smallest vehicle ever and I'm easily making $300 - $500 a day, just in school hours! That's every day, on my own, with too many customers and turning people away. After 7+ years, I'm actually looking at how I can minimise my setup even more. Would love to show you. It might help someone take that next step and start their own business 🙂
      Love your work 👍👍

    I detail out of my 2013 sienna using clients water source for now.
    To pack and go to their house fold my 3rd row back seat, a lot of room. This is looking into the trunk view;
    Top left shop vac
    Bottom left water hose
    Top right pressure washer
    Bottom right generator
    Mid row seat, chemicals, buckets, steamer and 50 foot electric cord.

      How do you pitch for your sales if you are using the clients water source? Is that a problem if they are at an office building?

    • @YourUserNameSucksx10
      @YourUserNameSucksx10 ปีที่แล้ว

      @lilkids6429 good question. I cater to specific clients. If they understand your service, they will reach out.

      @@YourUserNameSucksx10 for example one of your conversations would be like would u like a car wash or however you phrase it. I need to hook up to your electrical and water in order to complete my service to the best of my abilities. if they aren’t comfortable with that u move on or use their facilities if they are? Just starting out and don’t have extra money to spend on a generator or water tank

    Here's a tip i can provide for anyone looking or wanting a water hose reel but don't wanna drop hundreds of dollars and not wanting to hassle with installing a hose reel. For my mobile detailing business i use this Retractable hose wall mount from the giant online store that starts with a A its around $100 it has never failed me and its 65 feet long and light weight. The best part its self retractable, you just pull to the side and it rewinds its self. It's made to be mounted on a wall but i have had no issues using it. Look up Automatic Retractable Garden Hose Reel with 1/2 inch x 65 + 6 FT Water Hose, Heavy Duty Hose Reel Wall Mount Enjoy everyone!

    That guy F’d up instead of getting a brand new truck or a current year truck he could of gotten a older truck full size and have more room for all that stuff in the bed making it less crowded in the cabin 🤦🏻‍♂️

      @DetailGroove  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Haha you're doing a bunch of assumptions. It's just about getting started and making it happen

    • @istach1

      Baby truck saves money on gas especially in sprawly areas, is more dailyable than a small ford transit, would work very well in areas that require city driving or small roads, and can be easily used after the business pays for it as a grocery getter. Also all assumptions but couple reasons this may be better for some, but maybe im giving this guy too much credit.

    Just wanted to say thank you for sharing so much of your knowledge about this industry. Question for you about booking- I’m a few months into my mobile business but I frequently run into clients canceling appointments the day before and asking to reschedule. I’m booked out about a month so that causes problems. What would you recommend?
