Love the set up man. I can’t find a tank for crap tho. Using a 55 gal Barrel works just as Good.
You should get a camper to protect your machine the sun can do a lot of damage. Nice set up.

I'm doing the same thing and the truck definitely works better for me because I can use it for my other buisness aswell. also where I live, you can't park commercial vans anywhere.. so id have to rent a parking somewhere.. they always get tickets or broken into. I could do a regular van but it's either get an old unreliable van or get a new one .. which is almost as much as the truck and less power.. so I went with the truck.. just put a cover on the truck to protect your equipment..
Nice setup. A used 30k truck is the way to go, new trucks are just too expensive.
What extractor are you using? The more expensive Harbor Freight 3500 Quiet Generator runs at 3000 watts. To determine if it will handle a piece of equip. you want its specs. at 80% of its max running limit or 0.80. Using the generators 120v L5-30 twist lock 30amp outlet it can handle the 19amp draw from a $1,200 Mytee Lite 8070 extractor. You would take the extractor specs of AMPS x Volts / 0.8 = Needed running wattage. For example 19a x 115v = 2185W / 0.8 = 2,731 required runnings watts for that extractor. Your 6500 model does have more running wattage at 5500 and the fuel capacity at 7.93 gallons vs. 2.33 gallons however its min. of 73.5dBA vs. 56dBA is also significantly more noisy when mobile on location. Consider at 80dBA you want hearing protection on. You should consider upgrading to the NEW released 5000 quite model with remote start!

It’s not too easy which I like because it makes it harder for someone to just take it. It’s very heavy and requires 3-4 people to lift it out and into the bed of the truck.

I like your setup but what do you do when it starts raining when you’re on a job? How do you keep everything protected?
Before i book a client I always check the weather. But if it does rain, a little rain won’t affect any of the equipment. As far as the car, I have a 10x20 canopy that covers the vehicle if needed.
That pressure washer is overkill. You don't think you'd be better off with a Kranzle for the money?
No, I wanted a pressure washer that ran off its own power and didn’t rely on another source of electricity to run.

Not at all. I put a foil heat shield in between to reduce the temperature of the plastic tank!

The platform just slides out of the back of the bed. It does take 2-3 people to take out though

Is truck declared as business use? I remember I saw a news that his truck was stolen together with business tools. But since it is not declared for business use, it is not covered in his insurance.
Maybe it depends if he has a LLC and the truck was bought under the LLC. If he’s the sole proprietor he will need to insure it as for bussines.

Where do you put chemicals etc?
In the rear seat in two big storage boxes. In one box I have the essential gallons of chemicals to dilute more if needed and other small tools. In the other box I have all my chemicals in their bottles.
