I personally think all devices both smartphones and handheld gaming devices should do away with headphone jacks, let's be honest with ourselves, the vast majority of people own or use some type bluetooth headphone or earbud anyways
I have the slide, win mini and win 4 and the slide is the most comfortable out of the bunch. I only use the slide with the screen extended at the 30 degree angle so i dont believe its just a gimmick.
I'd love to see you guys do a review on the Odin 2 Pro or Max one day! Great review video, I wonder how the Aya Neo Pocket S will do when it comes out later on this year!
Running at half frame rate with double or triple buffered sync. For example locking at 40 or 45 fps. It feels more responsive and doesn't require higher settings to reach 60 and also saves battery.
Seems like having the keyboard recessed into the device would be annoying. I would have probably made the design decision to make it level with the face of the machine, and have the display raised, you could have some sort of guide rails either slide out the back, or something. if you raise the keyboard you also either get more room in the chassis for whatever you want to shove in there, or deeper recession in the back if you want for better ergonomics. And all you would be sacrificing is probably a little durability? But I feel like first impressions and handleability are more important in a product like this, and like Just don't throw your game console.
The first day I got my slide, I updated the bios, the process failed mid way and when I restarted it, it’s just a. Black screen with the fan and rgb on. It’s been 3 days and I’m back and forth with support.
The problem to me is Ayaneo. they pump and dump handhelds life and right! and their support is terrible... The steam deck, Ally and Go are devices that are being focused, and being polished over time. Valve did a great job starting all of this, while Asus didn't, they are making it better and better software wise. The go has potential on the next gen, but Ayaneo... I don't trust any of their expensive handhelds.
it sucks The D-pad is just like one single button making fighting games impossible to play, Steam games play in Slow motion and the Ayaspace app does not launch its also heavy and uncomfortable. I cant recommend it
The battery life on ALL of these handheld is perfectly fine, the people who are spending more than an hour playing a game are more likely to play it on there nice big tv in the living room with a console/PC
Yeah this whole Anti-Cheat not working on anything besides Windows is starting to be a consistent and purposely done thing. Linux no, Ayoneo no, it has to be a way to subtly force you into ecosystems. This must be pc way of ensuring exclusives. Guess Microsoft always had games, just on pc. Last in console, 1st in pc. Also how is z1 worse one they've done
I think not having a headphone jack is totally unforgivable on a device like this. It's not even an ultra thin device either which is extra insulting.
What no headphone jack on a gaming device.
Apple started it

Fun to see such handheld console-PC hybrids spring around lately still
I might be spoiled with my s24 ultra, but LCD with only 60hz and low nits is a hard pass.
Bruh that phone is trash lmao. No headphone jack and no upgradable storage, yeah pass
@@eli2210 hard pass for any phone without a jack and storage slot , its dumb
Spoiled and the 1440p screen runs 1080p out of the box.
@Emiichoco it's not dumb it's smart, most consumers use Bluetooth anyways, down with headphone jacks!
Its crazy how they let that pass
i wonder if it also burns your hands like the 2s

1:00 I don't get why people want more than 60hz for mobile gaming. Battery life is so much important on a mobile device.

getting my saturday brettfast
I feel the weith distribution issue is alleviated when you have the screen pulled up. It balances out the device and makes it more comfortable.
that keyboard is a crime against fingers
Slide 2: 90Hz (or more) bigger dispay (also less bezels if possibe), better ergonomics, grip texture, better soc, better battery life, ayaspace updates (or even ayaspace 2), fix the sleep-hibernation problem, less flimsy hinge, display springs and ribbon cable not being visable
So stick with GPD?
Why does control and cyberpunk look like you're playing in 240p?
"Steam Deck" settings.
This is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen...I want it. I need it. My precious...

I wonder how the company is doing overall
Still love my OLED Steam Deck. Haven't really needed any built in keyboard...
I like hibernation mode on the legion bro, sleep mode sometimes would turn on inside my case, hibernation never does this.

If you wanted the Slide, just get a GPD4. Don't buy products haphazardly made as fast as possible to compete with the original design.
Can you actually reach the keyboard with your thumbs while holding it? Seems like a weird concept if you need to put it on your lap to write...
I have this device and can confirm you can use the keyboard just fine with your thumbs.
I'm actually very surprised.
The biggest tragedy imo was no headphone jack.... Idk what they were thinking
Cool. Where can I get it?
In short wait for slide 2.
i think hibernation is broken on win 10 , i did had those problems too, on a pc i built
