I always thought Mighty Bison's lose portrait in the SNES version was more creepy without the blood. Looks like bullet holes right underneath his eyes.
I'm familiar with the SNES version. I was wondering why they had white spots. The blood was changed to white instead of red or sometimes removed. Zangief definitely has a difference. Too bad blood is only seen in the matches themselves.

I dont get this either, Super Metroid was very teen oriented and therefore more brutal e.g. coprses on the ground etc. But then they pussied out to show blood in street fighter? Why? But not only this, they also censor words for example "Terrorist", "Kill" or "Bar". Its beyond me. Thats the reason why I stuck with the Megadrive and never bothered to get a SNES as a teen.

The beat up pictures from the previous versions of Street Fighter II were way better than these. In these Super versions, they just got cuts, bumps, and bruises, in the original first three they actually got owned badly.

The gameplay sucked ass on the snes. Opponents fall down way too quick which made it hard to pull off combos. Genesis wins both with the better intro and the superior gamplay.
Super Street Fighter 2 on Sega wins. Plus Capcom should just make 1 Street Fighter game for Sega and Nientendo instead of 2 for Sega and 3 for Nientendo.
I bought BOTH SSF2 and MKII for SNES on the same day when they released (UK), so can't use the Nintendo Censorship argument here as MKII on SNES was super-brutal!

Bem mais agradável, ótima trilha sonora, a mais popular e a mais jogada ! Ate que a versão de Mega Drive ficou boa também.. uma hora tem que acertar
I owned both versions.... Despite some censored blood snes is superior in every way... Except size of cadridge in megadrive was 40 mega... But sound fx parallax animation color music... Everything was better on super nes.

Mortal kombat 2 was released on the Snes before this and it wasn't censored. So why the censorship?

I have both games on both consoles. Snes lags a lot while playing so i enjoy playing the genesis better and especially with a 6 button controller.
While i have to admit nintendo do a better job at the sprite textures but sega didnt hold back with the blood look
