Thanks! I'm using fineliners for the walls etc. Not sure what the pens are I'm using for shading here, but I normally use promarkers (cool grey or warm grey)!
Those drawings are making the map look really cool, a couple of things to note, you don't re-roll double 6 on the room generation ,as the room is big enough already, and I think you missed rolling the storage area reward, great playthrough thanks for sharing 👍
I concur, you're map drawing skills are spot on. I really like the crosshatch in the outer areas, it gives the illusion of debris, or vegetation. Keep Calm and Map On. LOL
What a great series.....binge watching it and LOVE the map art. What a great job and thank you for all the hard work. I just got 2d6 because of this series. Thank you!!
Hi there - I love how you bring your drawing to life with what seems to me fairly simple swork with shadows and other small details. Would it be possible for you to do a video session/guide, giving your tips on decorating rooms, drawing tips etc? Would be *much* appreciated, as my drawings always end up looking dreadfully flat and reeeeeeaaaaally boring 😊
Thanks for your kind words! A video sounds like a good idea, though maybe I'll just add some hints into my next 2D6 dungeon video - hopefully won't be too far away! In the meantime, I recommend the videos of JP Coovert - lots of really accessible videos on things like dungeon drawing!
I was thinking exactly the same thing, the way you bring what could be, such a simple map to life, is amazing. Something I really want work on for my solo gaming.
@@lone_adventurer Thanks! I've just ordered one off amazon. I only found this game yesterday on your channel and i've watched the full series. I've just bought a physical copy of the game as well as the additional cards and bookmarks off DR games! Cant wait to give it a go, thank you for introducing me to this great game. David
Ah thanks - I'm glad I managed to get some inventive usage in!! I would love to keep filming, but unfortunately filming, editing and uploading all takes time, and I don't have enough of that 🙂 I might film another chunk if I get to level 5 or 6 maybe, since it seems unlikely that anyone else will end up doing that and I think that could be interesting. Thanks for watching!!
I’m watching your video now regarding your shopkeeper game. I’d love to see your take on a solo or pen and paper rpg though. I’m working on designing one myself, but I bet you can make on that’s a ton of fun! Love watching your videos. Thanks for the reply!
What a beautiful map!
Thank you 🙂
Thanks Paul! Enjoying the level and loving the maps ;-)
Thanks Toby - almost at the end of level one ;)
Shared in the 2d6 discord 🤜
Thanks dude!!
Do you have a link to the 2D6 discord channel, thanks
Thank you for taking us along with you. Really enjoyed 2d6 dungeon will be getting it at the end of the month 🤜
You're welcome - hope you enjoy the game as much as I do!
Love this series and the map! What kind of pen/pencil are you using for the gray shading along the walls? That gives the map a really cool look.

Thanks - glad you like the drawings! Good points - I had missed that rule about double sixes!

Your map looks great! Minor mistake: You forgot to note that you're now level 2 on your character sheet.
Thanks! I've got a feeling I do that at the start of the next video. But if I didn't, I did soon after 🙂

I love your maps in this game, what pen are you using for the grey shading?
Thanks! Generally I use cool grey pro markers for shading 👍
