Yellow Lines for Snow and Fog, You are correct.
I had thought so but being from tropical NQ we don’t see that. Thanks for confirming.
Thanks for confirming! We don’t have anything like that in north QLD.
the height of the wall is because it has to meet the recomendations for the 100 yr floods. not great for short people . the lower road is for water resource staff to access water pressure markings along the wall
Thanks for all that information and yes us shorter people struggle!
@@hapninemptynesters helps as I’m a local plus my grandparents owned all the land you see looking down the valley and the land the trout farm is on. They farmed cattle
@@kyliesymons8768 oh wow, that makes sense why you are so knowledgeable! Thanks for sharing!
I filmed down in Tumut back in May 2023 and couldn't get up to Blowering Dam they had closed the road for some reason. So could only look around down the bottom.
But Adelong is a great spot
Oh that sucks as it was really nice up at the dam. But I agree we loved Adelong, it was really interesting.
the heavy rain caused part of the road to wash away...reason it is no longer open. you have to walk up part of the hume and hovell track along side to walk up to wall
@@kyliesymons8768 oh wow! Do you think they will fix the road?
@@hapninemptynesters at this stage the water resources aren’t looking at spending the money. Really say cause when the dam spills over there are a lot of tourists who visit but now makes hard for elderly or disabled people
Yellow lines above the snow line in NSW and Vic
Thanks! We had never seen that before.
