Doc Block is a wonderful man. I can’t tell you how crazy it is to live in a time where he will teach us. He is the sweetest. I’m so glad you interviewed him. I could listen to him for hours!!
DANG! A Kunzo interview, AND a Doc Block?! Sean, you're truly primo plant lover content. Thank you so much for your extensive research, your respect towards plants, and your fantastic content. LOVED this video!
I love him, so humble! Very enthusiastic about all kinds of plants! I’m glad you allow him to do 90% of the talking 👍 I admire his insight on collection. Such a great video, one of my faves.
Sean, the level of commitment needed to do all this moving camera work in the extreme heat needs to be recognized 👏🏼👏🏼 been looking forward to this episode!
: O : O : O !!! Oh my goodness, what an absolute wealth of information this man is! I feel like I should be taking notes, I'd love to take a class if he would teach it! Or just follow him around and learn! Amazing . . and I love his philosophy about being a guardian to the plants. Beautiful!
Growers with decades of passion and experience are incredible. All that I have met generously share their wealth of knowledge without asking for anything in return. No other industry is like this.
Wow! How inspiring and motivated for the plant community. We can feel and see the very tenderness and melodious delivery of his thoughts and wisdom behind it is in fact the true essence of being a man who loves nature! 🙏 🌿🍃💚
Sean what a great interview and I know how hot and humid it gets here. Very well conducted as you gave him ample room to speak and it is obvious he is an accomplished educator. Thank you for such a beautiful video🖤🌸
Doc is da man! When I grow up I wanna be just like him! Lol 😂. Love he's philosophy!!! Umm, halfway through video. . I realize your talent..other TH-cam host have interviewed Doc..but between your camera work and making it more personal..turns into a great episode! Thank you for your great work! Dang you were busy when you were in the states!
Wow!!! I’ve been waiting for this!!! So so beautiful! Thank you so so much for all the info that came with this beautiful tour!!! That last 10 minute sit down talk was so intriguing!
This garden you show us is incredibly beautiful, especially the plant at min. 9:29, with 35 years of care by Dr. Block, it is a work of art worthy of a very exclusive collection of plants. Thank you as always for bringing us this type of video and delighting our eyes with so much beauty. My respects to Dr. Block and to you for your great content.
Wow, what a great start for 2025, Sean. This is one of the most interesting videos I 've ever seen. Dr. Block is amazing, with all this beautiful collection and the knowledge that he shared with us. Thank you both of you Sean, I'm looking forward to your next video.
WOW.....SEAN, Actually feels like a privilege to get to spend time with you and Dr Block as you explore the joys of the plant kingdom. Thanks Sean.... 🕊🙏💙🙏🍀🌴🌨🐝🦋🌨💎
Thanks Sean and that very educational meeting with the expert doctor, he really is very knowledgeable about all his plants and even more. That trip to Florida was well worth it Sean. Thank again for sharing❤
Loved this video ( love all your videos actually) Dr B is so charismatic, he explains everything so well, i feel like i understand 😂😂. So happy for you to have met this man and even happier that you shared with us ❤❤
I'm only 6 minutes in and just amazed at the beauty and the detailed information being provided. This is such an amazing video Sean. Thank you for sharing! 💜
This is an awesome touchdown Sean! Enjoyed this episode very much ! So interesting to see another aspect of Dr Block and his fabulous garden beyond his famous hybrids. Looking forward to the next episode.
So enjoyed the video quality and facts !! Being a tropical plant specialist and a medical cannabis user I have to say I'd love to see and learn more of this ! Blessings!
As someone with chronic illnesses and chronic pain, I find it so interesting that he specialized in pain management! Super interesting hearing more about that side of his story 😊 I'd be interested in hearing more about his take on cannabis too since it's one of the main things as a Canadian that helps me control nerve pain, compared to gabapentin etc that I've tried so far 😅 This was a super interesting video!!
Really great facts, I learned a lot. Dr. Block has a beautiful collection. Seemed like yesterday I watched a plant tour at your home now you are close to my neck of the woods. Love all of your content :)
This video was so insightful and educational and enlightening all at the same time. What a lovely man his voice was so calming.. and he obviously knows his stuff. Thank you for sharing… I really want to try that lemon sweet thing. I wonder if their is options available to get that same experience.
Wonderful interview, Sean…what is the name of the red flowered/bracts plant at 20:23? It’s gorgeous! So enjoyed meeting Dr Block. Yes to what he mentioned about plants helping pain as in enjoying a garden, also plants help pain through alkaloids like codeine or morphine or our cannabinoid receptors…🌱
Great interview, Sean. Another gem of a video that can only be found on your channel. A teeny feedback if you don't mind-- maybe you [ or your camera person] were trying to capture a 360 degree view of Doc Block's garden backdrop, but the panning @5:03min made me dizzy for some reason. May I suggest a tripod stand for the longer interviews like this where the interviewee is seated and stationary.
Awesome content!! I eat mainly alkaline foods and plants are given solely rainwater I harvest manually from the spring, and I love the sweet taste in the water and feels smooth
19:29 How would you know if it flowers?, since it's hard to see up there. And a million seeds would then scatter across Miami? (I know not a million plants would pop up) Wonderful that these plants survive the hurricanes👏🏽
Such an interesting and learning episode, TY ! Love love DocBlock and it's perfect Anthuriums hybrids, but selling his Anthurium's Michelle to HomeDepot USA wasn't the greatest idea for us collector...
