Lovely tour, what a serene jungle vibe environment you've created there in your home. Always enjoy your videos, Happy New Year to you & your family and those beautiful plants 🪴🪴
Thank-you for the tour of your plants! I enjoyed it very much! All your plants are beautiful and look so healthy! When I first saw you on TV so long ago, I thought, there's a young man that knows plants! (I have Roberta's plants in my yard.) Then I saw you on here and was one of the first to sign up as I knew how knowledgeable about plants you were. I love your channel, Devin! I pray you and your wife have a very happy and healthy New Year.
Love a good plant tour! 🌿🪴🌱☘️🌵 A plant tour was one of the first videos I watched of yours and subscribed to your channel long ago. You and your wife have such a nice variety of plants, I love all your clay pots. Your variegated pepperomia is beautiful, and the desert Rose has been on my wish list for a while. Happy new year! 🎉
Oh my word what a wonderful way to spend part of the new year!! Your plants are gorgeous, your home seems so inviting and cozy and is decorated so nicely. What I really chuckled at was when you didn’t know the name of a plant and had that, “Oh well” attitude.😂 I know you’re an expert in plants so you probably know all the names, but that made you so relatable.☺️
Awww what kind words! I was really hoping it would be an uplifting way to start the year :) and yessss my wife has made our home so incredibly cozy! It’s so true though, I have so many plants to remember all the time, it can be tough!
I love your honesty. It makes the rest of us hobbyist feel more ‘okay’ if we accidentally snap stems off or can’t get blooms, etc. It’s also refreshing to hear your appreciation for common and easy plants! Very relatable, down to earth, thumbs up!
I love that you decorate your whole house with different varieties of plants but i love that your plant room the best because it has tall ceiling, lots of light through the big windows or door, and the walls ate painted in white! It just showcase all the beauty of the foliage and blooms! The soacing between plants are also very well thought of .. im sure it was tio crowded and jungly looking before you purge and give away your doubles, triples and lots of propagations....it can be very cluttered and too much work after awhile...great video!
Wow, just came across your chanel and I just love your enthusiasm for your plant babies! Your knowledge just shows how much passion you have for the love/hate relationship that plants can create haha. It's a planty roller coaster ride that takes, but gives us so much more back and I'm here for it! I love my plants too 💚 They bring such joy, even when they scare the crap out of you at times 😂
So glad you found the channel! May I ask what prompted you to click the video and watch? But haha it’s so true, I always have to remind myself that all the love (work) I give my plants they will repay me with love (beauty)
It’s so beautiful! I can’t believe how the Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma (mini monstera) fills the whole wall! It makes me think mine needs a brighter spot. I’ve had it at least two years and it’s probably 2-3 feet tall at most. I really like the jungle vibe that it gives crawling all over the wall in your plant room!
@ It has a metal trellis, but I did just notice that the very top of it has gone above the trellis. Then I noticed that I hadn’t secured it anywhere past the bottom half of the trellis. That might be something to try!
I love how your family business is plants that’s amazing, wish my family did that, me and my dad did some landscaping its not the same. But love your videos 🖤💜🌱🌵🍃🍀🎋
I really enjoyed your video you have a very nice collection I also love your home so many windows it looks like an older home with a lot of charm thank you for sharing
Awesome video Devin. I have the majority of your plants. My house is so full right now, because all the tropical plants from my greenhouse are in here. My Bird of paradise is in full spike. They like it out side just before freezing & then I bring them in & Wala spikes. Thank you for your advice on gardening. Bless you Bro.
Everything looks so healthy and wonderful. You are so blessed to have so many windows. Love your plant room! I thought the same thing about the monstera peru plant but last winter I decided to stake it instead of letting it hang, and so far the plant looks better and doesn't look so stringy. I laughed when you mentioned a few times about picking up plants from Ikea. I always check out the small plant section at Publix (our grocery store) and one of my favorites I picked up was a variegated whale fin sansevieria. I enjoy your videos and your enthusiasm about plants.
I loved your tour, you have a variety of different lovely plants many I had not seen or heard of. I also appreciate your lighthearted easy manner. I purchased one of your family’s Dracaena years ago, like the one you showed, I don’t have it anymore though.
@ It grew beautifully, almost reaching too high for my apartment ceiling. Then I had an injury to my knees along with a busy commitment I had made and it grew neglected as I grew more tired. That was 2018 that I let it go. I believe I had it 5-6 years.
OK Devin. For the stickiness of the scale mix a spray bottle 1/2 water, half rubbing alcohol and spray any stickiness daily. It helps! I have a Clivia that's battled scale for a few years onn and off.
Devin. 😮 smuggling plants over the border??..you are brave. I see there was no room for a 🌲. I get it. I really hope your Queen blooms. Happy new year.
I love the way your Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma is climbing all over the wall! I was toying with that as well because mine wasn’t sizing up on a moss pole. The Burle Marx is on my shit list! I hate the growth habit of that plant. Yours look nice. I took a small cutting from a silver sword & it’s trailing nicely with small leaves. I don’t like their growth pattern either. I just don’t have space for those. Thanks for the tour & Happy 2025 🎉
If I can keep my monstera and fiddle leaf alive longer than this one year... my next goal is to have indoor plants like you! haha. We do well with outdoor perennials...but bring something inside and it's a whole different ball game.
Hi! I’m loving your collection! I’m a big Hoya fan and I heard you mention that you trim off the tendrils because they have no leaves but the leaves come in after!! Experiment with keeping the tendrils and see if that’s the case!!!
Hi Devin, I started to grow Amaryllis a few years ago. I experimented, I started with 40 seedlings. Have two window boxes, I grew them outside till middle of September. They are in an unheated garage gets down to 33 at times. I pulled in my 18 in pot has 12 bulbs in it . Will see if they survive the winter. Some of my snapdragons outside are still green outside. I'm in Ohio few miles from the lake Erie. Happy new year
Love your houseplant collection. Trying to figure out the one of your plants. It sounded like a pantheon pendulum. Its brother is in your office. What is the variety name?
Hi Devin I had this Christmas cactus for over 20 years it’s green but it doesn’t seem to grow any bigger and it only bloomed once. 😥There beautiful should I keep or get rid of it
Have you watched this? How to Care for CHRISTMAS CACTUS Plants to get MAX Flowers Every Year - Secrets to their Blooms th-cam.com/video/xBpJOvATLt8/w-d-xo.html
Mine is also quite slow! The mix I use can be found in this video, the Aroid blend 4 House Plant Potting Mix Recipes - Common Plants, Succulents, Tropical Aroids & Orchids th-cam.com/video/fz93GiEp3iI/w-d-xo.html
Devin… only a suggestion - I know you’re young and still have a great memory but please this year put labels on the pots or in the plants! Echeveria? Color flower? Dwarf fiddle leaf fig? Some anthurium, a Hoya ( looks like carnosa) etc etc I’d love to know the name of that blackish flowered anthurium from Colombia…Especially as a you tuber I feel you need the accurate names of the plants …oh a tip fertilize the amaryllis when they are out during the summer so the leaves grow big and healthy, that will help set the flower spike. The bulbs need to mature a bit to set a flower each year, you are going to have some stunners! What a house for plants, you have them so beautifully styled throughout. Sorry this is long but lastly, because of your great video on cutting back desert roses ( Adenium obesum) I had the courage to cut the very long arms of my old one. It’s not dead, just resting but looks much better. Happy Planty New Year to you and wonderful camerawoman Samantha! 🤗🪴

I love it!

@ Kudos to your wife and it’s ok, that’s why there is Google for those plants.😂 Awesome video!!
I love your honesty. It makes the rest of us hobbyist feel more ‘okay’ if we accidentally snap stems off or can’t get blooms, etc. It’s also refreshing to hear your appreciation for common and easy plants! Very relatable, down to earth, thumbs up!
I try to keep it real! Haha.
What a great videotape start 2025 with! Thank you Devin and Happy New Year to you and your wife. Loved seeing your collection! ❤
So happy you enjoyed it:-)
Happy New Year Devin 😊🎉🎉🎉❤
Happy New Year to you as well!
Oooh my, I am making a cup of hot green tea with fresh jasmine flowers from my garden when you started showing your jasmine plant 😅 how cool!
Lucky you!!!
I love that you decorate your whole house with different varieties of plants but i love that your plant room the best because it has tall ceiling, lots of light through the big windows or door, and the walls ate painted in white! Haha yes it was getting too cluttered indeed! Glad you enjoyed the way we have it set up
Thanks for the tour! I loved Three Ninjas too! Haha and when you were commanding that plant to flower I cracked up!
Hahah glad you appreciated my humor :)
Oh, I love your place with all those beautiful plants. I'm a fan💚
Thanks, it's my happy place! 😊

thats a lot of watering, full time job
It honestly only takes me about 30-45 minutes a week to water, not that bad considering the amount of beauty they bring!
Does yours have some way to climb?
@ It has a metal trellis, but I did just notice that the very top of it has gone above the trellis. Then I noticed that I hadn’t secured it anywhere past the bottom half of the trellis. That might be something to try!
Always love your plant tours :) And you guys have a beautiful home! Cool to see the progress of your mini monstera on your wall too.
Thanks so much, our home is our happy place.
I love how your family business is plants that’s amazing, wish my family did that, me and my dad did some landscaping its not the same. But love your videos 🖤💜🌱🌵🍃🍀🎋
Working with plants is such a blessing!!
I was done with house plant tours but your mini monstera got me. Congrats.
Haha glad it caught your eye!
I really enjoyed your video you have a very nice collection I also love your home so many windows it looks like an older home with a lot of charm thank you for sharing

It’s such a goody
Everything looks so healthy and wonderful. You are so blessed to have so many windows. Love your plant room! I thought the same thing about the monstera peru plant but last winter I decided to stake it instead of letting it hang, and so far the plant looks better and doesn't look so stringy. A variegated whale fin?!?! I wanttttt! And great suggestion regarding the Peru Monstera, I may give it a try
Great plant tour I really enjoyed watching ❤
Thank you for watching! I’m glad you enjoyed it
Just fertilized all my plants with Roberta's fertilizer. My plants do awesome. It's the only fertilizer I use, even for my orchids.
I love that! its the only one i use too!

Happy new year to you!!
I love your ideas
Yery Beautiful
Hi Devin!..really enjoyed this video. I have about 80 plants and that keeps me busy. I just subscribed to your channel. Thanks!🇨🇦
Aww thanks! 🙌
Beautiful collection.
Thank you! 😊
I loved your tour, you have a variety of different lovely plants many I had not seen or heard of. I also appreciate your lighthearted easy manner. I purchased one of your family’s Dracaena years ago, like the one you showed, I don’t have it anymore though.
Ahh what happened to the Dracaena?!
@ It grew beautifully, almost reaching too high for my apartment ceiling. Then I had an injury to my knees along with a busy commitment I had made and it grew neglected as I grew more tired. That was 2018 that I let it go. I believe I had it 5-6 years.
That was great! Thank you
Happy New Year 🎉
Happy new year!
te felicito estan preciosas tus plantas
Gracias!!
In Colombia there are very beautiful plants and a lot of vegetation, my favorite country.
Yes I spend a lot of time in Colombia! Love it
That room makes me want to grab a book and a cup of coffee
And a nice piece of cake :)
Very nice.
I appreciate it!
OK Devin. For the stickiness of the scale mix a spray bottle 1/2 water, half rubbing alcohol and spray any stickiness daily. It helps! I have a Clivia that's battled scale for a few years onn and off.
Thanks for the tip! I'll try it out.
Execelente!!!😍🌿
Gracias por verlo!!
Devin. 😮 smuggling plants over the border??..you are brave. I see there was no room for a 🌲. I get it. I really hope your Queen blooms. Happy new year.
Hahah a plant lover has to do what a plant lover has to do!

Soy de colombia y vivo en Bogotá lo acabo de descubrir me fascinó el recorrido ❤

Im surprised you didn’t like the burle marx! But def let your R tetrasperma take over a wall :)
If I can keep my monstera and fiddle leaf alive longer than this one year... my next goal is to have indoor plants like you! haha. We do well with outdoor perennials...but bring something inside and it's a whole different ball game.
You can do it! The inside is so much easier, totally controlable environment haha
@@plantvibrations Tell that to the monstera remains sitting in my compost pile right now. haha
Thanks for the lovely tour of your beautiful plants. With so many indoor plants, how do you get rid of any dust that are collected on the leaves?
I only have a few that really collect a lot of dust and I just routinely wipe them clean
great plants ,your christmas cactus is actually a thanksgiving cactus....the clads & flowers tell which of the 3 holiday cactus you have.
Hi! I’m loving your collection! I’m a big Hoya fan and I heard you mention that you trim off the tendrils because they have no leaves but the leaves come in after!! Experiment with keeping the tendrils and see if that’s the case!!!
Well I left them on for three years and nothing!
Hi Devin,
I started to grow Amaryllis a few years ago. I experimented, I started with 40 seedlings. Have two window boxes, I grew them outside till middle of September. Love hearing you’re also experimenting growing amaryllis from seeds!
Good to see a collection that's not full of "it" plants.
Thanks :)
Yeah
💚💚💚
No cortes los tallos desnudos de la hoya,es ahí donde sacará sus flores,y tampoco cortes el espolón por que de ahí vuelve a florecer😊
¡Gracias por el consejo!
Love your trailing wall. What kind of soil do you used with your plants.❤
Thanks! For the most part i will just use bagged potting mixes for indoor plants
Jasmine or Sampaguita, which you said from the Philippines love direct sun too
Yes Jasminum sambac!
Oh my gosh you have our national plant, the Sampaguita (Philippine Jasmine)
Love them!
Love your houseplant collection. Trying to figure out the one of your plants. It sounded like a pantheon pendulum. Its brother is in your office. What is the variety name?
Paphiopedilum!
💖🌿💖💖🌿💖💖💖🌿💖

👍👍👍🌺
You were mentioning that your Zz plant was expensive, I paid $12 for an 8 inch one at Trader Joe’s back in September.
They always have the best deals!! Nice find
Dessert Rose love direct sun.
That Philippine Jasmine was called "Sampaguita" (Sam-pá-gee-tá)
I'd love a room like that but my sunroom doesn't have heat, plant's do great in summer there but winter is a no go.😢
How cold does it get?? My plant room gets down to about 50 and the plants love it
@plantvibrations maybe 10 degrees above what it is outside, definitely to cold for tropical plants so they are all in my son's old bedroom
Can your tell me what kind of substrate your Vittarifolium is in? I have one, seems healthy but VERY slow grower for me.
Mine is also quite slow! The mix I use can be found in this video, the Aroid blend 4 House Plant Potting Mix Recipes - Common Plants, Succulents, Tropical Aroids & Orchids

Hi bro, where did u get the Philippine jasmine or Sampaguita.?
Jasminum sambac
I’ll have them for sale on my website plant-vibrations.com in the spring
In Hawaii they call the snake plant, Mother n law tongue. Ha Ha.
Haha ive heard that too!
You called your cactus a Christmas cactus. But , it looks like a Thanksgiving cactus. It has points on the end.
مسيىة مزفقةحفظك الته ورعاك 🎄🎈🎄🎈🎄🎈🎈🎈🎈🎄🎈👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🍺
Happy New year!
Your painted lady needs more light to get them nice painted like leafs
Your climbers would do better on moss poles.
Ive not found the moss to add anything with regards to growth. My climbers are doing pretty great
the reason your hoya has never flowered is you're cutting the flower stalks off. the stems look bare for months befire they make new flowers or leaves. stop pruning your hoya
Well I actually pruned it for the first time two months ago after having it for 3 years
❤❤
You called your cactus a Christmas cactus. But , it looks like a Thanksgiving cactus. It has points on the end.
It is a ‘Thanksgiving’
