Well done to everyone involved, not only caring for the trooper, but doing so in a manner as not to scare his or any other of the magnificent horses. True professionalism and compassion, but we wouldn't expect any thing else.

That has to be the most ridiculous statement ever made. To be more concerned about pomp and circumstance over a man's well being can only be described as maleficence. Why did it take so long to see to this man's well being. He could have easily been helped down from his horse and supported as he was walked off the field to a caregiver. Another horse rider could have taken the empty horses reigns and held the horse in place or walked it off the parade field. What if he and fallen while they were pretending nothing was wrong and cracked his head.
Maybe it is time to reconsider all the needless money spent on purchasing, feeding, stabling these show horses not to even speak about the Vet. bills. Why should the British Taxpayers shoulder the financial burden so Charles can maintain useless and expensive pomp and circumstance.
It is outright fabrication to say these are the men who guard the Royal Family. That duty belongs to "Scotland Yard" The royalty and diplomatic protection group is an elite Scotland Yard squad charged with providing 24-hour security for the royal family and London's diplomatic community. Formed in 1983
