The best at military music in the world the British army & no one put on a spectacle of military precision & discipline by marching & it looks effortless & musicianship of the highest quality & standards & even though it is the mass bands no one plays the bagpipes like the blackwatch regiment from Scotland in my opinion & it makes you proud to be British ! I love the sound of the bagpipes in a military band or as a lone piper the best of Scottish & the best of British & the best of the United kingdom no does it better !
Tony Oldknow wur not British wur Scottish and proud one day we will be free from the tag of being part of uk that has a history of tyranny all across the world there might be some Scottish men/women that see themselves as a Brit but there’s a huge majority that’s going to vote for independence in the next general election and I will happily die the next day if I seen it FTQ ALBA GU BRATH 🏴🏴🏴
You are a very patriotic scots person but not that i agree with wars but in a major war we are better sticking together we are stronger & i don't agree as an English person how the Scottish people were treated during the clearances & i don't agree how the English treated William Wallace but you can choose to learn from the past & history & so we can hope fully learn from the past & as an independent nation Scotland it would be harder as a independent nation because Westminster would make it difficult by you not allowing you to use the pound sterling as a currency if you ever tried to go independent as a nation & Scotland would not survive financially as easily if it were part of the United kingdom in this gobalist centric world which I don't like particularly at all but you have to make the best of a bad thing & the EU becoming a federalist super state do you really want to stay & be part of that political monstrosity as a political institution & i personally don't!
@@gazebhoy364 i am English before British gaze bhoy but the colonial tyranny you talk about is past i am not proud of especially the clearances but i was not alive then but history is there to learn from so by free will choice we don't repeat the immoral sins & wickedness of its past & independence is extremely costly financially & you would have to create a brand new currency with & brand new name & a brand new central bank & the government administrative institutions & customs & exise governmental institutions & an institution to collect taxes & process it all including business rates & taxes & how are you going to pay for all of these governmental institutions & go independent as a Sovereign nation state! It is all well & good saying that you want to go independent as a nation state but paying for it all is another matter & the EU in Brussels would be a very challenging customer to deal with in asking for financial assistance to go independent as it would costs you billions to pay for it & if you went to the world's banker's like the Rothschild's to ask for financial assistance to go independent you could be in debt to the banker's for at least 100 years or more depending on how much you borrowed & how much interest you had to pay back to become independent in the first place & then independence does look so appealing as a whole if you look at the whole cost of independence from beginning to end of the process of becoming an independent Scotland & the cost to do it is massive & it could potentially bankrupt your nation & Westminster might not agree with that!
I'm fromTexas! I must say thatI love the pipes and drums!! When I saw this video, I imagined this large group of pipes and drums marching into battle! If the enemy saw them coming, they would tuck tail and run!!!!!! This abosolutely AWESOME!!!!!

outstanding, much love and respect for the Scottish regiments, bagpipes make the hairs on my neck stand up and give me goose bumps, such a magical instrument, brilliant.
My Mother and her sister and brother were born in Dumbarton Scotland. My mom was the eldest and when she passed I had pipes played at her funeral outside of the church. The pastor did not approve of them in the church. At the grave side, I requested the Highland Call to War (Scotland the Brave) and Amazing Grace for the final salute and honor to her. My uncle a veteran of WW2 often reminded the family of the names the Scotch fighters who served with the troops. These fighters were known as “ The Ladies From Hell”. Long live the Scottish and the Highland Call to War. Amen

Regardless of what we think is right or wrong with the past and the present and even the future can we not agree that the Edinburgh tattoo is a great thing, the soldiers that play there? Many countries do similar and they don't get bull shit for honouring their country so why slat this wonderful presentation of music.
As a proud English man, who is hugely proud of his Scottish heritage, (grandad) I'm happy to say we go to Edinburgh as often as possible, my grandad was from Leith, and videos like this make my skin come alive with goosebumps, more please!
John B Not true at all. Over half of Wellingtons army was from mainland European countries, well over half of the rest were English regiments. Then if you take into account the Prussian army that leaves less than a quarter of the forces from either Scotland or Ireland.
nicky rimbaud do you actually live in Scotland? I have to ask as you sound like Sean Connery, that well known nationalist who refuses to live there. In fact, most well off Scots seem to get out as soon as they can and praise it from thousands of miles away - or from England.
Most respect from Romania! The sound! The meaning! The History! On the battlefield! God bless Scotland! God bless Scottish people! God bless The Scottish Army! Anyway in the World! Anytime, anywhere!
One of my earliest memories is Green Ants and having a Army Camp for a back yard, but the pipes is in my soul. Every time i hear the pipes i am take back to what I am not sure, but taken I am.

It's great that our small country has a huge national identity recognised worldwide.
I'm not Scottish but I really would love to go and see and hear them in real live. I love the bagpipes ❤
I hope you will still say this after you have tasted the Haggis ( sheep intestines ).
It’s one of the best feelings ever. I miss hearing it.
I'm not Scottish, but there is something very moving about the sound of the pipes
The rhythm, the sound of solidarity, the togetherness and the love of freedom, that’s the sound of 🫡🥰
Oh what I wouldn't give to see this in person! Saw the tattoo/massed bands at Stone Mountain, GA back in the 90s which was a thrill but, oh, to be in Edinburgh!
Viva ESCOCIA desde Argentina con todo el sentimiento de hermandad

The pipes played at my Mother and brothers funeral..they make me cry..There so beautiful..
Too all my brothers all over.thank u for your service. From norway special forces. Snowman
outstanding, much love and respect for the Scottish regiments, bagpipes make the hairs on my neck stand up and give me goose bumps, such a magical instrument, brilliant.
Many countries do similar and they don't get bull shit for honouring their country so why slat this wonderful presentation of music.
jonny LegHanover what a nice post. I agree.
THANK YOU TO ALL,
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A VERY HAPPY NEWLIGHT YEAR 2020 TO ALL LOVE GREATER LIGHT ABUNDANCE AND A JOYFULL LIFE, LOVE IT ALWAYS.
I love the Scotland traditions.. so original
Great! This is real and mighty music. I love it.
As a proud English man, who is hugely proud of his Scottish heritage, (grandad) I'm happy to say we go to Edinburgh as often as possible, my grandad was from Leith, and videos like this make my skin come alive with goosebumps, more please!
imagine a napoleonic battlefield and listening to a few regiments like this approach from a distance. It must have taken guts to wait for them.
John B so true.
John B Not true at all. Over half of Wellingtons army was from mainland European countries, well over half of the rest were English regiments. Then if you take into account the Prussian army that leaves less than a quarter of the forces from either Scotland or Ireland.
Actually I meant less than one eighth.
nicky rimbaud do you actually live in Scotland? I have to ask as you sound like Sean Connery, that well known nationalist who refuses to live there. In fact, most well off Scots seem to get out as soon as they can and praise it from thousands of miles away - or from England.
nicky rimbaud Aye, you probably deep fry it
I've watched this video many many times, I enjoy the music very very much!!!!
goosebumbs all over me. Love the pipes
This is the type of sound that moves your body and soul and makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end
omg I love this music ... if I want to cry happy tears ... thats the right thing ...
Most respect from Romania! The sound! The meaning! The History! On the battlefield! God bless Scotland! God bless Scottish people! God bless The Scottish Army! Anyway in the World! Anytime, anywhere!
Nothing makes me prouder to be of Scottish desendant than this .😁❤️❤️🏴🏴🏴🏴
There's nothing else like the pipes & drums.
One of my earliest memories is Green Ants and having a Army Camp for a back yard, but the pipes is in my soul. Every time i hear the pipes i am take back to what I am not sure, but taken I am.
i only can say fking beautiful!!!! hello from Croatia
