  • This is my 2022 Lexus NX Review. In this video, I will give you a tour of the Lexus NX 2022. The model I tested here is the 2022 Lexus NX 350 F Sport. The tiny new Lexus SUV gets an impressive new design and modern tech features.
    The NX Lexus is one of the brand's best-selling models and the Lexus NX350 is one of the best-selling trims. In this video, we will take a closer look at the 2022 Lexus NX Interior and we will also break down the 2022 Lexus NX Price. The Lexus NX 350 is powered by a 4-cyl. turbo engine making 275-hp. If you want more power, take a look at the 2022 Lexus NX 450h. If you want a more sporty look, I highly recommend the 2022 Lexus NX F Sport. The Lexus NX 2022 release date was June 11th and it should be on sale now. Let's take a closer look at the 2022 Lexus NX!

    After 4 years driving the Acura RDX A Spec, I just bought the Lexus NX350 Fsport, Atomic Silver, I am so happy specially with all the technology. I value design a lot and NX350 is very well designed on a sportive way.The color mentioned as not so nice (atomic silver) I thing is very elegant and at the same time combined with black wheels and detailing, I can say my car is sportively chic and elegant. If you are thinking about getting this car you will not regret...

    This great review covers many other points other video reviews don’t. I’ve had issues with mine (noted in another comment) but I really was attracted to many of the new features. The review mentions a couple of things that should have been standard rather than optional. Also, there was an up-charge for the white exterior (always standard in all my other cars). Although I paid top dollar for my car (given the shortage of cars, I couldn’t pick and chose exactly the options I wanted), I was charged $25 for the key “glove.” Kind of petty in a car that costs around $60,000.

    Atomic silver - sonic titanium in our market - units are everywhere. It's the color I got my 2015 NX200t (tuned to +30 awhp :D) in, too. Admittedly, I wasn't able to take care of the bodywork as much as I should've in the last few years, and one thing that the color does well is hide its age and scratches.
    A nori green NX350h sounds like a nice complement to the NX200t though...

    Great overall review.i just bought one of these 3weeks ago, was looking at the Audi Q6 and the BMW. I am very happy that I chose this one. Couple things, you can use remote start from the fob. Just the distance is not far. And as for mileage range. The most I got out of mine after going through the initial 2 tanks of fuel which always burns off quicker and adjusts aftwards. Is 516 km to the tank. Yes! I know it really good. So it is more the the 200 miles or 321 kms that you claim.
    But overall great review and it's a great product.

  • @FungusUSMC
    @FungusUSMC ปีที่แล้ว

    Don't know if anyone mentioned it yet, but for the remote start, as with Toyota and Lexus that have them, there's no remote start exclusive button on the key fobs. BUT, if you press the Lock button 3x and hold it on the 3rd press for about 3-5 seconds, it'll remote start the car. Maybe Toyota does that to save button space on the key fobs, who knows. Test drove it last year, really liked it but the dealer markups were too much. Settled with a 2022 RX 450h instead. Interior in the RX is very dated, but I'm confident in its reliability!

    The problem with BMW and Mercedes is maintenance costs and you have to PAY way more for the tech and features, which with Lexus comes by default. The only real competitor is the GV70, but the issue with that is the infotainment system is horrible on the GV70. Also, the Audi Q5 is another option.

    • @naveenthemachine
      @naveenthemachine 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    What sways me over to this is having the wireless android auto and carplay. Don't realize how nice that is to have until you don't have it. GV70 doesn't have wireless on either of those. It's 2022 everything should be wireless. If GV70 had wireless android auto and carplay I'd definitely be getting that car.

    • @naveenthemachine
      @naveenthemachine 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Absolutely not. I’ve told you Omar before you’ve driven it that literally anything else is better than the NX. You said “give it a chance lol” when it clearly wasn’t warranted. The nx is not competitive at all. It didn’t move any needle forward. If anything it’s moved the needle backwards by a lot.
      The RDX, GV70, CX5 turbo, Santa Fe, sportage Tucson are better at being luxury cuvs than the NX. Also even the venza is a nicer car than the nx
      There’s no area where the nx is class leading. It’s not well rounded as anything else. Not to mention it’s overpriced, it’s just a RAV4/Camry cuv, the most powerful nx only gets 300hp lmao, and the 2.4L Turbo leaves a lot to be desired for something with 317lbft because a CX5 turbo w the same power and two less gears is faster lol

    • @dioralcide8490
      @dioralcide8490 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No I won’t, the interior is too busy and poorly executed if we were in 1990 I would get it but 2021/2022 it a hard to specially with GV70 around makes it so hard to even think about the NX, all the NX got going on is the reliability. In my humble lexus needs to go back redesign the NX again get rid of the camary /RAV4 vibes or hired another designer just for the lexus department having said that I really like the F sports seats design, hopefully the have a F Performance Trim

    • @castle6555
      @castle6555 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I had high hopes for the new NX but I don't like it at all.
      Pros: Lexus reliability and available Hybrid powertrain
      Cons: Smaller rear seat than most competitors, as expensive as German competitors, many features that are standard on other Lexus models are optional, the touch sensitive steering wheel buttons, and poor NVH for a Lexus.
      Maybe I should consider an RX instead.

      People will never be satisfied, Lexus has physical buttons for things, outdated then they take it away or most buttons away, “Lexus should have kept buttons for this and that”. And the whole thing with technology I don’t understand, must tech is assurance and safety, which doesn’t get my heart pumping and not something I really care about, especially knowing I’m a good driver and don’t need my car to keep me in the lane. Even though it’s nice to have “extra eyes” is nice and not saying the safety or assistance tech isn’t necessary, but it’s not something that should flexed. Other than those two categories of tech, what other tech is that crazy that people are complaining about in the previous Lexus models. The infotainment was fine, you just had to get used to it, which people in the US like everything to be easy and if it takes getting used to, it’s just bad

    Yeah no. I’m just laughing at everyone for A. actually having high hopes and expectations for the nx, and B. Your over defensive hypes “the nx will be best in class” or “give it a chance man lmao.”
    Well that clearly didn’t even happen. Literally No one came away wowed with the nx. It didn’t move any needle forward. If anything it’s moved the needle far back behind even mainstream Cuvs like the tuscon, CX5, Santa Fe, sportage or tbh even the venza. The fact that I can compare the nx to a Tucson or CX5 really shows just how disappointing the nx really is. There’s really no area where the nx is class leading. If anything in every area it’s class trailing.
    And The whole oh “its gonna be reliable” argument just won’t work here because it’s a luxury car. If reliability or fuel economy are so important, why are you even shopping in this category? Go buy a Prius or rav4 or venza if you want fuel economy and reliability because you’ll get the exact same reliability but you’ll paying thousands if not tens of thousands less
    The interior looks too Camry like. The powertrains are lackluster. The most powerful nx only gets 300hp and you have to spend $60+K to get that
    You’re basically paying for a RAV4 /lifted Camry cuv. You don’t get the next level in luxury that you would expect. Oddly the venza interior is actually what the nx should have started with and just gone up to the next level from there.
    For instance going from a tuscon to a gv70 or from a CRV to an Rdx really gets you the next level up in luxury and you get a more bespoke vehicle.

    • @competitiveautomotive5457
      @competitiveautomotive5457 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@basedondennis naveenthemachine’s not entirely wrong you know. The nx sure is a nice car, but the nx is playing in a very competitive luxury cuv segment, and in that segment, is it really a nice luxury cuv? Not really.
      In the luxury category you shouldn’t expect just good enough. you should expect the best. If you have low expectations and a high budget, I might honestly question your choices.
      The gv70 especially is the best Asian luxury cuv. You have to be an overt Lexus fanboy to say that the nx is the best cuv to get. It’s just facts. It’s not bias of any kind. The numbers for the nx keep on proving this. They don’t lie you know.
      What does the nx offer that’s compelling over the others? Sure it has a hybrid, but what makes it more compelling over say a venza or even a Highlander hybrid platinum or sienna platinum hybrid both of which aren’t far off in price and get the same mpg on regular gas. As for the phev it only gets 300hp yet you’re paying $60K for it. Compared to the others you can get so much more for 60K. The nx turbo 350 leaves too much to be desired. First I think Lexus is overrating the power. Realistically it has 250hp 250lbft because a cx5 turbo with the same power as the nx but two less gears is faster. the Rdx has less torque but it’s still way faster
      As for reliability sure it’ll be reliable. But so are a cheaper Toyota RAV4, venza, and or a Prius… you don’t get more reliability over the mainstream counterparts yet you’re paying thousands more for essentially a rebadged mainstream vehicle. When going from mainstream to luxury you expect a higher level of differentiation. Going from a tuscon to a gv70 really does get you the next if not the next two levels up in luxury. Going from a CRV to an Rdx also gets you the next level. It rides on a bespoke platform, it has its own engine and transmissions and AWD systems. Not a single component Is shared with the lesser CRV.
      The nx however is not the case. You’re going form a rav4 to a Rav4 except you’re paying thousands if not tens of thousands more and you’re getting the same vehicle
