- 2022 Lexus NX 350 F Sport Handling AWD POV night drive, highway drive using adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assist.
For 2022 Lexus completely redesigned the NX and yes, you heard me right, this is an all-new model. At first glance, the second gen looks more like a facelift, but true changes are on the inside and underneath. It’s based on a very good TNGA-K platform and has received revised powertrain options, including hybrid and plugin hybrid variants.
The new Lexus NX competes with cars such as an Acura MDX, Audi Q5, BMW X3, Genesis GV70, Jaguar XF, Mercedes-Benz GLC, or a Volvo XC60.
So, let’s take a deeper look at the new NX, here in a 350 F Sport Handling variant, and see how it drives!

I love how the interior ambient lighting is subtle and not in your face like a Benz. I know it's a preference thing, as some people love having an interior that feels Psy-fi, but really when it's done subtly like this NX, it just looks classier in my opinion.
must be the camera. When you're driving the ambient lighting is extremely dim to the point that it's almost non-existent.

Hello hope did the power feel.. Did it feel enough when you have to pull out from a junction.... I know the 450h is a lot more powerful but much more expensive....

Thank you for the review. What you think about the seat comfort, are the f sport seats tight at the back? What about the suspension, is it a harsh ride?
The F Sport model does have more aggressive bolstering, so if you’re a bigger individual, they might seem too "tight". They do provide very good support. The ride quality is great despite 20" wheels that this car has. It's still compliant over bumps and more comfortable than my 2020 Volvo XC60 also with 20" rims

Nope, it's not a hybird. The cabin is well isolated a it's very quite inside, even at speeds like 85-90 MPH

No ambient lighting? I mean I see some accent lights but that's it
Yup, just accent lighting - door handles, door pockets, compartments and footwell. You can change the color though

@@EUROCARGUY 😁😁 I cant' wait. This car is just perfect for me. Simple interior, clean and sleek looking. Toyota/ Lexus are known to be reliable. The size is just perfect, not super big but not dinky like a little hatch back.

Planning on buying this car, anything bad about it?
I have mixed feelings about this car - the ride is very refined, it handles better than the predecessor and driving impressions in general are comparable to the European rivals, but the technology is what gave me a headache during my time with the NX. I’ve had multiple software-related issues, and for the first time I feel like Lexus released a beta product. Good thing is many of those things can be fixed with over-the-air updates. Ambient lighting would of been nice. Even the Acura RDX added it to its already existing design and the GV70 killed the game on design.
The nx in general is down there with the Infiniti qx50 and qx55

very little noise; certainly not noisier than the 2017 RX450h that I got rid of. Fit and finish is very good too; mine has absolutely no rattles whatsoever

@@EUROCARGUY standard lights also come with adaptive lighting system, but yes the Premium triple Beam - Led lights definitely makes the NX look sexier.
@@raymarcable1292 IIRC, you get cornering lights with triple beam but the headlights aren't adaptive

@@EUROCARGUY Not sure if they have different names for colours in different markets. In Australia, here is no Atomic silver, the closest is Titanium or Sonic Chrome, but i cannot tell if it is the same colour

I own a 2020 XC60 and after spending a week with the NX, I realized I made a right choice. I had a few software related issues with the NX and it feels like (for the first time) Lexus release a beta product. I'll talk more about that in my review

Every rival spanks this hard in just about every way
I'd take it over any of its rivals. It looks the best in my opinion, will have the highest resale value, and is probably the most reliable one considering the companies track record.
