    @RG Studio Hi! Thank you for the explanation and update on working of this regulator,have been searching about it for a while. If you don't mind me asking, from where did you buy your CO2 cylinders?

      Got both from tetra aquarium at Sivanandha colony cbe.

    Very informative video. From where did you purchase the dual gauge and is it performing good? where are you from?

      Hi.. thanks for the comment. I got it from an online dealer called as Easypets. The product is manufactured by a Chinese company called Wyin. I am from Coimbatore which is a tier 2 city in southern part of India. The product has been in use for almost 2 months now and working well but it's still too early. But the fit and finish of the dual gauge s great. Worth a try

      @@rusticromeo Oh okay cool. It's pretty rate to see high tech indian tanks. Glad you have it and would like to see updates on this. so when you turn off the co2 at night, does this solenoid completely shut off the co2 or it releases like 1 bubble in every 6 to 8 second?

      Hi.. the dual guage regulator has been fantastic and holds co2 for a long time. Its been almost 4 months since my last refill and its still not budged from 800 psi. Definitely worth every single cent or in my case rupee.. hope that helps. The single guage is still functioning but only problem with that is as the pressure starts dropping below 800 psi the bubble rate just won't go up no matter how much turn the needle valve nozzle. So I am ditching it as soon as I get my hands on a new dual guage. Tc.

      The single stage started leaking and now I have got a 2nd dual stage for the other cylinder too. and pressure is holding up for both tanks nicely

    I have wyin dual guage regulator, noted that working pressure is increasing, it is in the range of 70 to 80 psi Any suggestion.

    • @rusticromeo
      @rusticromeo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thats fine. You cant manually reduce it without letting out gas. Let it function for sometime and then it will come to 60 psi. after that if it goes below 40 psi you can turn the knob to increase it back to 60 psi

    I have a two guage one from aqua nature. I am facing a issue since a week, the initial flow of co2 is great, but after an hour or so, the output of co2 keeps on decreasing. Like i have adjusted the valve to 2 bubbles per minute but after a hour or so it slowly decrease to 0.5 bubbles per minute. Would be glad if you could help? Also can you open your centre adjustment section?

    • @rusticromeo
      @rusticromeo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi sorry for the late reply.. haven't checked this part of you tube in a while. Hope you resolved your issue. You shouldn't be having those issues with the dual guage if the second stage is showing 60 psi pressure. It will ensure the bubble rate doesn't drop. The central knob can be rotated... initially u open it to as much as possible before u open the co2 cylinder and then u start closing it and stop when the pressure in the second guage reaches 60 psi. Tc..

      I believe dual guage and dual stage are not the same thing. If it is dual guage but single stage, that problem is very common. a dual stage regulator is designed to avoid that problem

    • @rusticromeo
      @rusticromeo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@gio6627 hmm.. sorry but if we assume what u r saying is true then what does the second guage represent in a single stage regulator? I always thought that one of the guages showed the pressure in the cylinder and the second one showed the pressure in the chamber between the cylinder and the needle valve. Dont think there s a single stage dual guage.. pls correct me if I am wrong..

      @@rusticromeo Ram, I won't pretend that I know this stuff well. Quite the opposite I'm new to Co2. However, I was going to buy a dual guage from Fzone--the descripton said that it was single stage, despite the fact that it had two guages. Then I decided to buy another one from the same company that it also had to guages, but the description said it was dual stage. Again, I may be wrong but based on the descriptions from this company I'm guessing that dual stage and dual guage is not the same thing.

      Hi @Gio.. You were absolutely right reg dual gauge vs dual stage. I accidentally got a dual gauge recently and then realized that it had only one stage. I have given it to a friend of mine. So will update you on what the 2nd gauge does.

    Bro purchased this last week in Aquastar and I’m struggling .. the left gauge is not working . And when I turn it on it turns off automatically

    • @rusticromeo
      @rusticromeo  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Left gauge is the cylinder pressure. Does it come to 0 immediately after opening the cylinder valve or does it happen after a few hrs gradually coming to 0? If it happens immediately then there s a major leak in the regulator or the gauge is broken. If it happens over a few hours then there s minor leak happening gradually where the regulator is screwed to the cylinder. U will have to disconnect the regulator, check the position of the o ring. Then reconnect properly. It takes a while to master this. Dont screw it on too hard.

    • @aaronvasanth
      @aaronvasanth 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rusticromeo Thanks bro .. I can sense a major leak then. I'll take this to Aquastar .Thank you for your time. Much appreciated.

    "dual gauge" is not the same thing as "dual stage".

    • @rusticromeo
      @rusticromeo  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are absolutely right. Dual stage is what I meant in this video. I didnt know that there could be dual gauge single stage regs at that time.

      I still wish there was a reliable way to identify dual stage regulators...

    • @rusticromeo
      @rusticromeo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is. A dual stage reg will have a primary large knob for the first stage and a secondary needle valve (smaller knob) for co2 to go into the bubble counter. A dual gauge (which i accidentally bought and then returned) will have only the needle valve. The larger knob for the 1st stage is definitely absent. Hope this helps.

    • @pistachoo.
      @pistachoo. 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rusticromeo I didn't think the needle valve would be considered a part of the stages... I have one with no big knob, but a screw head where one would be.

    • @rusticromeo
      @rusticromeo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pistachoo. as far as I have seen there s a large knob for the 1st stage and the needle valve for the 2nd. I think the size of the chambers and knobs vary based on price range. This one works for me. Thats all.

      @@rusticromeo just because you have a working pressure valve doesn't mean its dual stage..

    • @rusticromeo
      @rusticromeo  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry.. I am not a scientific expert on regulators. I am saying that this is a dual stage reg bcos I have also used a dual guage single stage from the same manufacturer and this I know the difference between these two. And I have used other dual stage regs not from Amazon too. They have generally a similar mechanism. Two stages. In a dual guage single stage the knob is a dummy. In dual stage, by only turning the knob will ur working pressure rise. Even when cylinder pressure drops to 0, if u have 60 psi working pressure u get a steady bps. Anyway if that doesn't convince u, I can't help it. Thanks for your comment. Tc..

    Terrible video that does not explain dual stage vs single stage at all. Even in the comments creator says dual stage identified by the presence of a needle valve. Not true at all...confusing people more so than helping.
