Cole I agree with you. 2 stroke is the way to go. Less moving parts. I have a 22 ft. Pathfinder. Awesome ride in the chop!

Thanks for the video. Im thinking of getting this or the majak extreme. The majak may be faster but not sure if it will handle the rough conditions as well as yours. Speed is not my main priority

The magnum will defiantly be a bit smoother of a ride with more versatility to make a move in rougher water. You are correct though, the more round hull and bigger pad of the majek extreme will move a little bit faster with the same power. Draft and storage will also be a consideration depending on how you fish. Running drafts will be similar with same HP and fuel weight, but hole shot until you get big hp will be just a hit shallower with the haynie. Storage is all based on layout you choose.

Thank you! At 4000 rpm’s @ 40 mph seeing about 8gph burn or 5 mpg, wide open throttle @60 mph is 25 gph

Hello Sir, I’ve been running a pathfinder 22trs since 2016. I’m currently looking at the Haynie. Not sure if you have ridden in the pathfinder, but if you have can you comment on the ride difference. Will the magnum ride dramatically better due to the length? I know sea state matters but would enjoy your take on it.

      Thanks for watching!
In general length will help you cross rougher seas smoother. In our opinion it would ride the same, but possibility drier for your passengers.

@@SaltyGillz Thanks for the info. Im on my second Haynie 23 Magnum. My first one had 250 2stroke, and yes that sucker ripped. This newer one has 300 fourstroke. I know heavier. Bought used. Currently has a Solas 22p 4 blade. seems to fall on its nose at 5800 rpm. No matter what trim or tabs i adjust. any suggestions?
