yes that dark era .... 2000 to 2010 .... we lost the vision . just make damp movies without proper writings. just want to imitates tamil or telugu films . but after 2011 new directors ,new talented artists , script writers who make a drastic change in malayalam films.we start to accept new attempts , experimental movies and realistic movies. we the audience criticise the damp movies at its peak. we demand good content movies. Only demand make great supply. That positive change start from film " Traffic".

First ever step taken was Big B. Pazhashiraja give the confidence to invest more. Its was 27 crore budget…. Casanova did the flashy approach, sagar alias jacky too helped in the change but real transition happened since Traffic. Since then its always an upward graph. Kuppiyil ninnu thurannu vitta bhootham pole. But pre 2005 was a dark age, in those times established actors and directors were focused more in destroying new talents than making good movies
