DAMN...even up here in Canada, this car is probably a $5,500-$8,500 MAX car....I think his ask is either a typo or he is most definitely smokin' something Psyco-delic!!🍄🍄👀🤯🤯...lmfao!
Favorite pickup of all times: 1947 Hudson! Why? I love how the hood stretches out forever, the wide body that will seat five kids and a grandpa with ease and all the cool lines.
My favorite Pre-70's pick-up would be a 1959 Chevy Apache. Appreciate GM's experiment of a fiberglass bed. Good job giving back to list viewers vehicles for FREE. Few TH-camrs do something like that.
My favorite Pre 1970 truck is the 56 Studebaker, My Dad's Uncle had one when I was growing up, LOVED that truck, That Catalina is NICE! So is that Blue Chevy Truck! I think that purple Impala is the best deal, 10k for that car? are you kidding me? That's a steal!
'41 Chevy pickup is🔥! My favorite truck is the '48 Chevy 1/2 ton panel. This was the last truck used in my father's painting/roofing business back in the 1950's. Greenish black, bought used in 1954 for $ 195.00. My father (also sign painter) would hand paint business name on all of his trucks (vinyl graphics printers weren't out yet). I still have the invoice from that truck purchased from Allard and Berger Chevrolet Co. in Billerica/Lowell, MA.
First off , thank you for your videos ! When i was 4-5 yrs. old my Dad had a dark blue '56 Ford that was converted into a wrecker , with it's one yr. body design and having Fords' first wrap around windshield in a pick-up it holds good and bad memories , w/no seatbelts then my Dad took a corner too fast and i hadn't shut the door properly , so that was my first road rash . The 30s to 50s Studes were pretty stylish too as I grew older , Dad drove many a Ford as i grew up and was an oval track racer and hot rodder in the late 50s into the 60s but I still favor dark blue '56s .
$68K for a NOT SO RARE "LINCOLN" Continental is absolutely nuts. The VIN will identify this vehicle as produced by Lincoln, a division of the Ford Motor Company. 122,003 Lincoln Continentals were produced in 1976, so a T-bone steak is more rare. Good grief.
1936-1949 Diamond T. Because, let's face it, they were beautiful!!!! And being more capable than any other truck on the market at the time sure didn't hurt either!!!!
You did it again Solon, a great video, awesome selection of automobilia, and of course, you found one of my all-time favorite brands (A.M.C.), a '61 Rambler Classic rag-top...an awesomely pretty car---Best in Show....then, the '74 F-150 is my #2 pick, probably a 351W and it looks like it's 4x4...sweet truck.---and my #3 is the '64 Ford Falcon van...not as rare as the seller thinks (at least up here in Canada) but still a really nice unit...all in all (except for that WAY,WAY overpriced Continental) a sterling bunch of cars and trucks....thanks again, and keep'em coming...Peace out, from Doc.
#2. You DONT convert a car from 12 volt to 6 volt! Obviously its the other way around. And a '76 Continental for $68k? HUH? Dwayne needs to lay off the Schnapps. #8. ID is Idaho, not Indiana. And I'm not getting on you Sol. You're Doing good. Just thought you'd like to know.
I've had three 74-76 Mark IVs and one 76 T-bird. Beautiful cars, but nowhere near worth 68,000. Maybe 18,000 if he finds the right buyer. Very thirsty cars. 9-12 mpg, up to 15 if all highway and no A/C. Favorite P/U, 1956 F-100.
Yeah, the seller has been watching to much Cannon on TV, thinks it is a gold mine, in reality it worth, $12,000 at best 👌, they only got , 63,000 for Elvis Mark IV at Barrett Jackson
I'm kind of partial to a late 60's Rural Ramirez 750. This is because it is Mexicos' only completely homegrown vehicle; car or pick up. Sort of looks like an International Scout, but the 750 is mostly inpired by the Scout.
There is more (if you're interested). In 1962, a group of industrialists from Monterrey N.L., bought everything (blueprints, patents, tooling, etc.) that belonged to the defunct Borgward car company from Bremen. By 1968, after having shipped the factory from Germany to Mexico, the first car, the Borgward 230 rolled off the Mexican plant. While it was now a wholly owned Mexican car company, the car was still a German design. It was also an early 60's design being sold in the late 60's and early 70's. Borgward MX did not last long. AMC formed an alliance with a Mexican industrial group and created VAM (Vehiculos Automotores Mexicanos). This company produced AMC products for the Mexican market and even created models unique to VAM. This includes a military Jeep that was essentially the cabin of a CJ-7 mated to the bed of a J-2000 pickup. Also unique to Mexico was the VAM Lerma. Again, these are basically AMC products. That's why I say that the Rural Ramireez 750 is Mexicos' only homegrown vehicle. Cheers.
@AmericanYardSale yeah my 1st time am just wanting 1 I found 2 in Colfax but dam can't find a number lol 1 guy said the last day you won't find nothing I wish these guys would put there cars rat rods old cars under 10 grand ill am seeing 12 grand I got cash maybe there deal with me lol it would make me clean out the grarge lol but if these guys would put them on Craigslist looking
The ‘49 Chrysler. W do people do something like new seat upholstery - but don’t bother with choosing a shade of blue close to the rest of the interior? Was the material on sale? Oof - that ‘76 Continental is pie in the sky - maybe he meant $6,800? I hope that most of your viewers know that claims of low mileage rarely work out - sure, the odometer may have those numbers, but they are only 5 digit odometers. I liked the ‘74 Ford.
None of these deals were all that great like run right away to purchase it type of deals althought they are out there mostly on f.b. Those classic car sale sites are way overpriced most of the time
Click on the video title then the description will pop up under it - click on the word "more" then scroll down till you see thr car you are looking for,
Lol! Good call! Yes the sellers sometimes list things incorrect! But I have the best and the most knowledgeable viewers on all of TH-cam and that’s what I appreciate about y’all!
$12,000 for that Chevy is to much! A lot of rust and trunk doesn't align with the rest of the car....... there's just to much work to do for that price!
Are you sure that Lincoln isn't 68 hundred dollars. Because sixty eight thousand is insane.
IKR?!? This guy is delirious if he actually wants 68k.
DAMN...even up here in Canada, this car is probably a $5,500-$8,500 MAX car....I think his ask is either a typo or he is most definitely smokin' something Psyco-delic!!🍄🍄👀🤯🤯...lmfao!
He is on something
.....and the wrecked front fender is going to be difficult to find a replacement.
The seller could have put a typo in the ad, but I post it as sent to me!
Favorite pickup of all times: 1947 Hudson! Why? I love how the hood stretches out forever, the wide body that will seat five kids and a grandpa with ease and all the cool lines.
Good choice rob!
1959 Chevy 3100 step side V8 original 283 - 3 speed

Same.
Thanks!
55 Ford ..love the grill

About 60k too much for that " not Lincoln " Continental. Funny that turkey doesn't realize those rectangular badges mean Lincoln.

The 56 is the best value to me.

Lol! Good call! Yes the sellers sometimes list things incorrect!
But I have the best and the most knowledgeable viewers on all of TH-cam and that’s what I appreciate about y’all!
Thats a ford ecnoline van not a falcon sedan delivery
That's way to much for that Lincoln,it sounds like it should be worth about $1,200 with all them problems!
