My first pick would be the Olds LS swap. Doesn’t need too much work, decent price. After that is the Marlin, needs some updates, but still pretty original. And like someone else mentioned , the Corvair is a really overlooked gem. And all of these cars are from Cali, so rust shouldn’t be a problem.
@ I can’t tell how nice it was, and I’m assuming a 390. I just love a Marlin. They are very rare. I love the two-tone paint scheme. Straight up ahead of it’s time.
Some beautiful "diamonds in the rough" there Solon. I particularly like the Nash; that's a particularly fine example (to my eyes at least!). Love the paint on the Barracuda; gorgeous! Nice lines on that Packard you picked!
Have a great new year Solon. I like 2 red cars you showed in the video. The Packard coupe and the Oldsmobile.Well I finally got all the questions correct. Side note; y brothers and I had a big collction of slot cars that we hsd alot of fun racing. Thanks for the old ads.
Hello salon Happy New Year to everyone. I remember my 58th Thunderbird I really like the car but it Nickel and dimed me I also had a 40 Packer 120, which is also a beautiful car but once again every time I drove it when I parked it I would always have to do something not major but fittle with the motor. I had my 38 Chevy coupe at the same time which never gave me a lick of trouble so I use that as my daily driver. That 48 Ford that you featured is my favorite. I have never owned a 48 Ford but have always wanted one. I wish each and every one of you most happiest of New Year's and keep buying those collectibles it is a joy that cannot be measured. Salon I finally got all three trivia questions correct, usually it's two of the questions correct, I may have gotten three before but as my memory fades I cannot recall if I did or not. Darn I wish I had that 38 back
LOL! It's hard being a Yankees fan in the south! I love all the old school players like Mantle, Yogi and Thurman Munsen! Those were the ones I grew up with!
It’s still hard to see an old mopar without a Hemi as anything other than ugly (I can say that I owned several), the Hay bailer truck should have been made by Dodge too. Your pick is impeccable with those sleek body lines; I miss the making of desirable cars. 1962 Corvair wagon is a previously not seen model. The 56 Olds; LS swapped (anything with a LS swap has my attention! The 27 firetruck 12:25 brings the it came from the internet segment like a storm. Those 60s T-birds are always attractive. The little yellow Barracuda was a sharp addition. The 48 Ford coupe was also a great contender but I’d have to say the little yellow Barracuda was my favorite of the show. Great selections Solon!
The red Thunderbird, is a Great Buy, The 68 Barracuda is a Nice Car, But can't believe It came with a 225 6 cylinder, 267 or 340 Should be stock for that car, What a shame, 68 69 the only 2 years I like other than the 70 Cuda, Well Happy new Year Solon Hope all is well God Bless
Agreed with your Packard pick, just wondering why they left that horse blanket draped over the hood... is it hiding something ? That Valiant convertible is sweet, and it's a Chrysler (not Plymouth) version with Chrysler styling cues, I wonder if it's an import, maybe from Argentina, Mexico, or Europe ? Australia produced a 'Chrysler' Valiant as well, but this one does feature left-hand drive.
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! Could you help me with something unrelated: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
I get emails from I See Cars where cars from many sources can be seen. I just got an email about a nice looking driver quality 57 Tbird for $21K. I like the Buick and it needs some serious work but the running and driving 57 Tbird wins in my book.
Can anyone give me a quick education on the Nash? I've always wondered how they prevented the front tires from rubbing the fenders in a turn? They look so close it seems there isn't enough room for them to turn properly. Did they turn really wide? Did they rub? What's the story there?
Hope you have a happy new year Solon. 🎉 Thanks for your episodes....you never disappoint 😊
Appreciate you watching Mary!

Blythe is a hot place in California, and Arizona is also a hot dry climate for that International. No rust from there. 55
Those cars from those places are solid!
Gotta love that Marlin!

@ I can’t tell how nice it was, and I’m assuming a 390. I just love a Marlin. They are very rare. I love the two-tone paint scheme. Straight up ahead of it’s time.

The yellow Cuda does not have original rack and pinion it has a steering box and does not have struts, it has shocks.

They call them the bathtub on wheels. The turning radius is terrible. They won't rub unless a wider than recommended width tire is used.
