So glad you brought up improvising medical supplies. No doubt supplies are better than improvising, but knowledge and a creative mind can help lighten the load on what you carry on the daily. Kudos on bringing up the importance of quality chest compressions over delivering breaths!
I would love to see your medic bag that’s in your car! Keep up the good work! Great video/audio editing and quality keeps increasing every video! Thank you!
The only thing I’d say is missing is a blade. I don’t carry it for defensive purposes, but if you do need to improvise some medical supplies or expose a patient, it’s worth carrying. It can also be used to rescue someone (especially if you have a glass breaker) or just for convenience (opening annoying packaging etc). I sometimes carry a Benchmade Triage, but now I often just take a Gerber EAB because it takes up no space, and I never have to worry about sharpening. Even a small keychain knife or strap cutter is adequate.

Pro tip: Magguts makes a +2 round extension for the p365 magazine that does not increase the profile of the magazine substantially. This would increase your capacity to 14+1. I can confirm that this will not impact the magazine performance either. It does this by replacing the internals of the magazine, and on the 12 round magazine it adds between 1/8 and 1/4 of an inch to the bottom of the magazine.
If you like the 12-round mag on the P365 I can't recommend enough the Wilson combat P365 xl grip mod. it works with the 12-round cap mags and I have been using one for almost 2 years and love it. I always felt play with the lower portion of the mag and it bothered me. The gip texture is perfect on them also.
Recommend Kägwerks EUD case, less bulky, easier to fit in a pocket; and have the same level of protection as the juggernaut case. It can attach to the ATAK system on the front of the plate carrier as well…but not sure if they support i13 tho.

Love to see more folks going to the P365. Fantastic concealed carry pistol and with the modularity you can turn it into anything in the world. A lady on the local PD is carrying it on the job with the XL slide and optic.
A few years back I bought Magpul’s DAKA bifold wallet. Best wallet I have ever owned. Never have to worry about the wallet get wet, oily or bloody. Never have to worry about it stretching. Never have to worry about wearing out the welded seams. I carry it in my front pocket. I think you will love it! Side note, I also keep a R.A.T. tourniquet on me at all times too.
I'd reconsider that RAT if I was you. It's not T3C approved, it's a pain to apply tight enough to stop major bleeding (especially if it gets all slick with blood) and tends to come loose easily. They also have extremely high occlusion pressure and are even more painful to wear compared to a proper TQ. If you want to stick with the gold standard then a SOF-T Wide can be folded down pretty compact (check out Mountain Man Medical for a good video on how to stage them). You only lose a bit of "self-appliability" compared to a CAT. Or you can go with a SWAT-T, they're more compact than a full windlass TQ and just a little more bulky than a RAT. They're also not T3C approved. Application is still a pain and self-application is really only possible on your legs but you can combine them with gauze or a shirt to make a pressure bandage as a bonus.

Good choice in the p365. I had one and while it was amazing to conceal it was a little to small for me to shoot consistently so I went up to the 365xl. I have been contemplating on trying the xmacro frame on my xl slide and fcu. I believe the 17rd macro mags come with baseplates that make them work with the 365 and 365xl as well.
I also have the 365 X Macro Tacops and really have enjoyed it. Very easy to conceal high capacity and fit and function is perfect for me. 4 mags was a huge bonus. It’s my third striker fired handgun and has a great trigger my other two were polymer striker fired but really sucked so I sold them shortly after buying them due to being cheaply made. But the X Macro Tacops checks all my boxes so after several months training with the 365 it’s now my go to for daily carry.
Love the p365, I bought the p365x a about a month ago, had a about 8 failure to return into battery the first 200 rounds, my gun came very tight tho, after the first range Day, I cleaned it and shot another 200 rounds the next few days and no malfunctions, great gun overall, even though I love my g19, glock really needs to make a competitor to the p365 series, the 43, and the 43x isn’t it

Honestly I think muted color wallets (or black) are less practical, I have a bright neon orange wallet and its great. Alway easy to spot in the bottom of my bag or if I misplaced it around the house. My EDC as an off duty law enforcement officer. Just a normal pair of blue jeans usually, a tru spec all Velcro belt (had the same one for 4 years now works great off duty as well as on duty as a under belt), a tactical pen in my back left pocket for if I need to write something down or use it to break a window ect, POM OC spray in my left front pocket(have used it a few times on dogs and it worked fantastically), cell phone I place in my left front pocket as well(iPhone 14 pro max), code 118 wallet in my front right pocket(is is rfid protected), a pocket knife clipped inside my front right pocket(usually some type of otf or assisted blade). For my firearm I carry a Springfield hellcat concealed appendix carry on my right side( I’ve had to draw and use it once to shoot a dog that was attacking me), a old g shock watch on my left wrist, and lastly a spare magazine in my back right pocket, although I sometimes leave it out of my edc.

@@carson4388 Not sure how I feel about your phrasing. Good video. Just watched another content creator's 'complete' EDC video and your minimalist EDC is far more complete. Agree with all your point - but IMO you need a dedicated flashlight. Thanks!
The Garmin tactix was a game changer for me haha. I was worried about the price, but holy cow I use the crap out of it for running, gym, etc. AND that light is clutch.

I wish Garmin would make a mode for self defense light to deter threats. Obviously, there will always be better devices, but it would be great for a minimalist carry during a workout or hike sesh. Would be an awesome safety feature.
I think your EDC is terrific. What these commentators don’t understand is that your cute/neat gadgets are only good if you have them when you need them. With skinny jeans😂 so popular, you start adding the kitchen sink, you will unload your pockets whenever possible, thus negating “C” in EDC. I like the phone case/tactical carry for it. I’m gonna order it for my work phone. 👍👊🏼
I’m glad I found your TH-cam channel. Very informative! I have my conceal carry permit and carry everyday along with a knife, OC spray, a flash light. But now I’m looking into adding some medical into my EDC. I live in a pretty rough city with a lot of crime and want to be prepared. I tend to carry a fanny pack rather than a purse, and being a woman I also wear tighter fitting clothes. What would you suggest I add to my EDC that would fit in a fanny pack?
u should look into flash lights that stick out beyond the barrel. the idea is that in cqc or a grappling situation if u push ur firearm into the threat it can push the slide making the gun unable to fire.
get the mous case, super easy to take it out and in. ive dropped it more than i wanted from all sorts of heights and different terrain. nothing happened to my screen. also if your case is popping out your screen protectror get the soft version.
Love your channel! Great content and well-produced!! Where can I get a small claw like that one for my holster?? The one I have is way too big and gets in the way when i grip my gun.
I use that Vedder Holster as well. Had to remove the claw though. Kept gouging my knuckle when drawing. Almost got the Sig but the SA Hellcat felt better in my hands.
Actually you want a light that sticks out beyond the muzzle on a combat weapon. That light is what’s going to keep your weapon in battery. If you stick a semi auto pistol into someone even if you barely push the slide back by doing that, you’re screwed and your weapon is a paper weight. Which is why you want a light that sticks out beyond the muzzle so the light makes contact and not the end of your muzzle so you can fire your weapon and it will still cycle.
Idk if you knew or not but for the tlr 6 your able to turn off the laser if you only wanna run the all you do is hold either side down and tap the other to go through each mode
Love your videos, just found your channel, slowly learning what to pack in my med kit, would like to know where I can get some good training, had first aid training in the military and as a security guard and correctional officer, but want to learn more?
Just carry a backpack with a small med kit. I carry a small leather backpack with a med kit, spare socks, some food, a screwdriver, tissues, light, bottle of water, and plenty of space left if I need to carry something.
Hi Sam, you don’t carry a knife? Well I carry a small first aid kit, with a small first aid dressing, safety pins, plasters, splinter out, ibuprofen, it’s in a micro first aid pouch from helikon Tex. Greatings from a German paramedic
The Juggernaut case + mount is about $280. The Unicorn Beetle case is about $25. The only thing it does t have that the juggernaut does is the ability to fold down.
I purchased the Garmin based on this and your in depth review. I tried to find the running watchband you recommend...but wasn't able to locate it. Could you provide a link?
Hey Sam, I know you like your P365 a lot, but have you ever shot the Glock 43x with Shield Arms S15 magazines? They take the 43x's capacity from 10 to 15+1, thats the original capacity of your Glock 19 in a single stack frame! They also make a +6 mag extension available, taking your total capacity all the way up to 21+1! Pretty dang crazy, right? The 43x can also be purchased optics ready & fits the TLR-6 flush fit as well. Just something to consider! Great video, man!
Yeah I looked at a lot of things before I bought the p365. My issue with the Glock 43 is that if you don’t get the x you are pretty much stuck with a small round capacity. The 43x was bigger then I wanted and the S15 is one more thing to buy. Plus it doesn’t have night sights standard. It was close between the two though
I don’t have a plate carrier, or any guns really cause I’m under 18 but I have the “quad lock” case and it is made for bikes, but you can probably make it work for a plate carrier

I enjoy these vids
Yeah I tried that belt and got rid of it. I wanted to like it for the feature you mentioned but mine kept un strapping when my left arm brushed it.
Welcome to the sig community. Smart man.
Yeah, used to run Sigs at the Sheriff’s office. Finally stepping back into it
Great movie, thanks 👍
Could you do a review of your running vest please. Thanks love the reviews!
@perpmedic juggernaut has smaller cases available, the ENDVR is slimmer and may fit your plate carrier equipment.
3:58 try maybe an otter box defender series case, they are very good cases
Great video!!
You're the spitting image of John Holmes from the head up. Jus' sayin....=). Cop humor only gets worse once you retire. Love the videos.
I own a couple of P365 versions. Also have the Sig M17 and the Sig M18 because I’m a Marine and the M18 replaced the Marine Corps issued Beretta.
Love your channel I have learned a a lot watching your vids!Quick question can u use paraffin gauze dressing to pack a wound if needed?
Actually you want a light that sticks out beyond the muzzle on a combat weapon. That light is what’s going to keep your weapon in battery. If you stick a semi auto pistol into someone even if you barely push the slide back by doing that, you’re screwed and your weapon is a paper weight. Which is why you want a light that sticks out beyond the muzzle so the light makes contact and not the end of your muzzle so you can fire your weapon and it will still cycle.
Idk if you knew or not but for the tlr 6 your able to turn off the laser if you only wanna run the all you do is hold either side down and tap the other to go through each mode
check out pilgrim munitions for defense rounds. a lighter round and actually collects the guts and not fly through
Great stuff!
My edc is a P365X with Wilson Combat Grip Module. I down sized from a G19, too.
I carry a Glock 23 or G42 with an extra mag, OC spray in a belt pouch, a self defense knife and a pocket knife and the new EDC TQ on my belt.
You might consider Urban Armor cases. Not sure about plate carrier compatibility though.
Gotta love the Japanese mag insert
Freaking TH-cam “community guidelines” 😂
Looking good🎉
14:00 Is there a video on your car med kit?
Hi Sam, you don’t carry a knife? Well I carry a small first aid kit, with a small first aid dressing, safety pins, plasters, splinter out, ibuprofen, it’s in a micro first aid pouch from helikon Tex. Greatings from a German paramedic
12:26 you had the opportunity to say “I don’t have a lot of time UNDER MY BELT to give a recommendation”
dad card revoked.
@@PrepMedic xD
As a swiss citizen I am so glad you saw the superiority of SIG lol 😜
The Juggernaut case + mount is about $280. The Unicorn Beetle case is about $25. The only thing it does t have that the juggernaut does is the ability to fold down.
I purchased the Garmin based on this and your in depth review. I tried to find the running watchband you recommend...but wasn't able to locate it. Could you provide a link?
Your pilot must love those lights on the watch while he’s flying 🤣
You are amazing
Awesome vid! Let's see that car kit!
So use you to seeing your g19 setup! Good choice for the sig
I EDC the P365 Spectre Comp and it's an amazing gun.
I highly recommend getting MAGGUTS for the Sig 365, add +2 rounds to any of their magazines. IMHO money well spent!
Has anyone mentioned the quad lock phone cases and mounts? I think it'd work perfectly for you
How do you not carry a multi-tool or knife? I use both of mine on a daily basis.
And what about a knife or a multitool? To be honest, I feel uncomfortable leaving the house without a folding knife.
I’m Really liking my Kore belt !
You can try quadlock as an case, they have mounts for almost everything
