Love the idea, but not a fan of the toggle. I have had a Kill Switch in my TJ for 10-15 years, forget the name of the company. It uses a magnetic reed switch. It's literally a length of wire soldered to a relay and a switch nothing fancy. You can continue on TH-cam to learn how to do this for basically free! idk why this is even a product and has a patent. OR DOES IT! oof. you're just bypassing the relays contact with a switch!

So basically if the theif checks the relay and replaces the one with the kill switch wire has a clear wire going to it, with another relay its useless ?
Ok so I have a question. I have a 2015 Jeep JKU with a manual transmission. I’m sure you’ve herd the old saying “if it won’t start, roll start it”. My question is will this kill switch prevent the Jeep from being able to roll start as well or just cut off the battery to the starter?
No, since roll starting was something you did if you had no starter. Cutting power to the starter wont fix that. You would need to use a toggle to force the clutch safety on, which would prevent the ignition from activating.
If the starter relay is the same as the fuel pump relay, you could just run this to the fuel pump relay. Cuts fuel to prevent any kind of starting whether it be roll start, key start, or hotwire.
Unfortunately not. What makes it so effective at keyfob cloners and relay hacking also prevents it from being started remotely. Many of our customers only activate the Kill Switch when they're in sketchy places.
@@4122inc Unfortunately the entire San Francisco Bay Area has no safe neighborhoods and any and everything is fair game. It sucks but that's the reality!

Rip to you, another one down. Ordered 5 months ago. It took a whole month to ship out. The relay they gave me doesn’t even fit my car and they took 2 weeks to reply back to send me another relay out. For basically $100 the build quality on these switches are absolute janky and cheap. You can literally see the hot glue they use to slap it all together. Oh and I forget to mention that once it’s all in place the switch doesn’t even work. And on top of that they didn’t even want to refund me. So I’m down $100 😁
Contact your bank, get your money back. It’s a shady business with a cheap overprice, janky object. I gave the benefit of the doubt that the switch would work but it doesn’t work at all. And I can only really feel the culprit is just how badly put together the kit is. No refund was given to me.
I bought one for my 2010 toyota rav 4. Installed it....and it didn't work lol. Car won't turn on...regardless of which direction the switch is on. As far as I can tell...I did everything the way the website said to. Any thoughts?
Plz make it so the switch is always open unless pressed, it would require the user to press and hold the button and start the car at the same time but atleast he doesn't need to remember to switch it back to the open position as it does it automatically.
Do they make one that would work on the fuel pump relay instead of starter relay? Im asking because i have a truck that needs to build up oil pressure before starting up. When it starts up right away the cam phaser rattles and im trying to avoid the rattle and avoid taking a chance of stretching the timing chain. So i really need it to crank for 5 seconds then i can flip the switch and let it start up.
That's freekin brilliant. Simple yet highly effective. Hope you guys make a ton of money with this. BTW, your other products are pretty innovative too.
Under the hood yes, unless you put a bunch of effort into it. Car thieves aren't going to open the hood in order to see if anybody has messed with the relay unless it's a very expensive car and they don't care about being seen.
If I install the Killswitch wouldn’t that cut the battery out entirely when I turn it on? therefore I can’t use any app that will tell me if my car is locked or the windows or up or whatever like that that needs battery at all times
Intriguing; but, how do you run the microswitch attached wire from engine bay into the cabin without making mods to car? How is it completely turnkey if you have to get through firewall?
Most vehicles have a factory firewall passthrough--usually in the form of a rubber plug or grommet. Turn-key meaning all the components are included in the kit; you still need to run the wiring--but we make it as easy as possible. Check out the website and look through the installation for a better idea.
Not quite a scam, but customer service is really lacking. Finally received my kit to find out they shipped me the wrong relays. To their credit, they did rectify the issue but had to wait another week for the replacement kit.
Nice, but I can do this without buying or cutting anything. I just take out a certain something, and when criminals try to start the car, it doesn't start. I've been doing this for 20 years with 8 attempts to steal my car, and they were all unsuccessful at stealing it.
That's cool, but if the "certain something" is under the hood, it would be a complete pain to swap the "certain something" in and out. Great idea to just remove the relay, if you leaving the vehicle on your driveway for a week while your away.
Totally well worth it! I would buy it in a heart beat if I had a nice car 🫤 Presently my ride is a 1997 Accord which I love and totally dependable for commuting to work. I have an alarm and a kill switch for extra protection. If they really want to steal her, they would need a tow truck 😡
Relays, a switch, and wire can be sourced for free at a junk yard. The the knowledge to solder wire to a relay can also be found for free on TH-cam along with a harness (made from a second unused relay) if needed.
I love this idea. Certainly worth the $100. Back in the day, I just removed the fuel pump fuse from the fuse box under the dash in my '88 Camaro. Then again, who would want to steal an '88 Camaro with the "mighty" 2.8L which a slightly modded VW Type I could smoke off the line? 🤣🤣🤣
Exactly 👍 and thieves (who are already smart enough to use frequency copying electronics) will now have to also bring their own relay. I'm sure they wont mind.
AWESOME - BUT: 1. MY car, is a manual(stick drift) - therefore it can be jump/bump started... 2. Upon seeing this video, thieves may simply carry a spare relay & replace the one with your system... What tweaks to your system can you do to cater to these situations?🤔
Most EFI systems need key on power to trigger injectors and ignition coils. So, you'd need a relay/switch that disables the fuel pump circuit, so even if the vehicle was bomb started, the engine would die as soon as throttle was applied due to lack of vacuum pulling the fuel through the injectors.
Couldn’t you just grab the same size relay that’s beside it and swap them? I feel like the obvious wire coming out of one relay might give a thief an idea
Patent pending? How does that warrant a patent? My Sinotrack GPS Tracker from Amazon already came with a relay like that, to allow immobilizing the car.
The ease of installation and without requiring the car owner having to cut into factory wiring. Your immobilizer requires cutting and splicing. The 41.22 version is simple plug-and-play.
@@4122inc no, it does not require cutting and splicing. It's literally the same principle as yours. Just with the difference of having an electronic box rather than a switch at the end of the cable.
It's good that you decided to make the switch bright red so it's easier to see. Maybe you could offer a deluxe model with a lighted switch so it can be found in the dark. LOL
I had to install this switch on my car because a mystery happened with my fuel system..when i went to start the car it would flood my car..yes talking about injectors..i pulled the fuel pump fuse..start the car..just before car died i pop in the fuse..it worked! So i install a stitch under dash so not have to find the fuse and pull it..i took my car to get fixed and the mechanic said something wromg with my car..will start then dies at 1st..i forgot to tell him about the switch😂😂😂but yeah i felt comfortable with the switch installed..knew nobody would figure it out!🥳🥳
It doesn't prevent them from unlocking your vehicle and getting inside... if you have it where they can find it, they're just going to start flipping switches until the vehicle starts...it's meant to be hidden.
Do you have a push-button version that I can just hold while starting the vehicle? A switch requires me to remember to turn it off while getting out, and the chance that I forget is high. :)
They have really fallen short of actually making a usable, reliable and fail safe automatic steal stopping device. Years ago, there was a key pad device attached to the relay. The key pad was the size of a Zippo style lighter that could be placed just about anywhere. A four digit code had to be entered to activate the relay. Once the vehicle was shut down, the relay would de-energize and the code had to be re-entered to once again start the vehicle. This little device should be similar. A momentary on toggle switch to a latching relay would be the answer to make this so much better.
Your vehicle is probably detecting the starter is disabled (whole point of the Kill Switch). After you start your vehicle, you can always flip the Kill Switch off, and it should put it back to normal operation (if you need your start/stop feature).
When i first started driving, almost 40 years ago, i remember asking a few people if something like this existed. The only answer i ever got was that i could take one of the leads off the battery.

A wireless version with a manual switch on the fuse unit it self (for when the wireless function can’t be used) would actually make this a perfect product
Correct me if I am wrong, but you could still 'Bump' start a car with the starter motor out of action? i.e. push start in 2nd gear and slowly disengage the clutch?
For manual cars I believe you are right. Would have to stick with traditional kill switch.
If you can drive a manual!!!!
🤣
@@jrsmyth9761 Sorry... my bad. Didn't even consider people not being able to drive manual. In the UK you can drive both manual and auto on a full driving licence, but if you pass your test in an auto, you can only drive an auto. Ho Hum.
@@crwoodford Thieves aren't worried if they're not allowed to drive a manual. They're stealing your car.
@@crwoodfordman the UK has so many dumb laws
In the UK I fitted on/off switch for electric petrol pump to stop car being driven away and a switch under dash to stop lights working.
But, Gypsies lifted car up with a crane on their lorry and drove off with it.
Remains of car found days later.
Thank you for such a great product and a great price. The haters are just jealous!
Thanks again, works perfectly 👍
I see some experts deriding this kill switch for the cost and things about the warranty. If you don’t care about the warranty stuff and are mechanically inclined or just rolling the dice on Messi with the wiring, don’t buy the thing. Some of us like the simplicity and $100 or so is fine to prevent potential warranty issues. The complaining experts would also point out the ways to get around The Club and every alarm on the market. Personally, I don’t worry about anyone stealing my ‘07 Focus or the other car with that pesky extra pedal.
It's literally a length of wire soldered to a relay and a switch nothing fancy. You can continue on TH-cam to learn how to do this for basically free! idk why this is even a product and has a patent. OR DOES IT! oof. you're just bypassing the relays contact with a switch!
@@TheTubejunky If you don’t know why it’s “even a product”, you are exposing your own ignorance and awareness. Why do you think there’s over half a dozen mouse traps on the shelves of Lowe’s? Don’t those customers know they can squash a mouse with a boot or a hammer? As I and others have said - not everyone is knowledgeable or willing to mess with stuff. If it’s below your esteemed knowledge, don’t buy the thing. Now go to your local Lowe’s and spend 3 minutes in the mouse trap bay (it should be along the inside left wall) and count the number of mouse traps for sale.
How do you connect the switch to the relay? Do you have to drill a hole somewhere to run the wire through? If so, wouldn't that void the warranty?
When I went to order i seen alot more wires and parts other than the relay and switch. You are not being open about it on the video so no sale
Great idea (implemented through the relay) >> the inventor deserves a profit for this. Love innovation.
Given some are stick shift and can be bump started with a push, do you have an option for fuel pump disabling instead?
So basically if the theif checks the relay and replaces the one with the kill switch wire has a clear wire going to it, with another relay its useless ?
Well assuming that the thief is carrying around a relay that would fit into that particular vehicle , then yes. Still better then nothing at all !
Theres is another person on here that was still waitin for his switch did he ever get it or was he screwed too
Ok so I have a question.
This is the move.
No longer will your ECU be cut off from power and be forced to reset each start!
Thank you
Very slick, for owners of rare or high value cars a real plus to add to ensuring you still have your treasured sled
Wouldn't be better to disable the fuel pump?
Does it still allow for remote start?
What warranty?
Can you still remote start with your keyfob to warm up the engine? I'm guessing not since it's a kill switch to the starter motor... @41.22Inc.
Where do I get one of these for my honda crv mk2 and honda accord mk8
I recently ordered one. It from a factory and no way to communicate except by email and they do not reply. 10 days and no shipping email or reply back from multiple emails. Not sure whats going on but may have to contact my bank to get my money back. Seems shady to me.
Should also add an electric dispensing taser unit when activated , just to make the thief think twice about jacking your car.
Does the switch only needed for car with FOB?I start my car with a key.
Thieves can still hot-wire cars with just conventional keys. Even if the key is chipped; there are easy ways to circumvent.
What about a manual transmission , can they still push start it ?
Technically yes, because push start does not use the starter motor. Your using the transmission/ drivetrain to turn the engine
Once again shut off valve inline with the fuel lines makes more sense
The best kill switch is to bring ur car battery with you😂
Are you guys planning to make any for newer vehicles? I would love one for my ‘24 Yukon.
I bought one for my 2010 toyota rav 4. Installed it....and it didn't work lol. Car won't turn on...regardless of which direction the switch is on. As far as I can tell...I did everything the way the website said to. Any thoughts?
Hi
Some questions
Do you deliver in France ?!
I have a Fiat Ducato 2012. 2.3l 130 cv.
Does this work on all Makes and Models? I have a 2014 Soul. Thanks
Plz make it so the switch is always open unless pressed, it would require the user to press and hold the button and start the car at the same time but atleast he doesn't need to remember to switch it back to the open position as it does it automatically.
You can make that change easily. Just buy the switch you want, remove the wires from the toggle switch, and put them back onto the switch you bought.
Duhhh just buy a NO switch wth man
@TheTubejunky 😂😂😂 wow good idea, who would have thought
Do they make one that would work on the fuel pump relay instead of starter relay? Im asking because i have a truck that needs to build up oil pressure before starting up. When it starts up right away the cam phaser rattles and im trying to avoid the rattle and avoid taking a chance of stretching the timing chain. So i really need it to crank for 5 seconds then i can flip the switch and let it start up.
And I can still activate my alarm? No battery cut off switch here. I want one
Novice Car guy. What's the earliest (oldest) model car this system will work with?
model T
That's freekin brilliant. Simple yet highly effective. Hope you guys make a ton of money with this. BTW, your other products are pretty innovative too.
Is this only for push to start?
A bubble switch hidden under the carpet is best.
We had one. The car was towed away. 68 Camaro
Do you make this kit for Lexus IS500? I don't see option on your site.
Do yall sell a kit for a 2019 GMC sierra denali 1500?
How does the wiring get from the fusebox to the kill switch?
I just used to find a factory option button for an option I didn't have and used that as the starter button.
Good idea, but the wires from the new relay remain visible?
Under the hood yes, unless you put a bunch of effort into it. Car thieves aren't going to open the hood in order to see if anybody has messed with the relay unless it's a very expensive car and they don't care about being seen.
Curious question perhaps but everyone is focused on the starting circuit. Has anyone ever messed with the fuel pump to prevent theft?
If I install the Killswitch wouldn’t that cut the battery out entirely when I turn it on? therefore I can’t use any app that will tell me if my car is locked or the windows or up or whatever like that that needs battery at all times
Doesn't this eliminate the remote start feature?
Thanks pity it's not available here in South Africa. You could leave switched on when taking it to service. Far better than cutting cables
I ordered this 2 weeks ago, still hasn't even shipped. Whats the deal here guys?
Any updates?
Same any update?
Mine took about 3 weeks to ship, I'm assuming they make each kit as it's ordered? Fedex says its coming today though...
Its a scam no customer service , no phone, no email buy at your owen risk
I used to just take the Starter Relay with me anytime I had to park my Jeep overnight anywhere I thought it was in jeopardy
1997 Accord here too, two way alarm and a kill switch. Prior to the alarm the killing switch alone stopped it from getting stolen at least twice.
Relays, a switch, and wire can be sourced for free at a junk yard. The the knowledge to solder wire to a relay can also be found for free on TH-cam along with a harness (made from a second unused relay) if needed.
Did you wire that through the firewall?
I love this idea. Certainly worth the $100. Back in the day, I just removed the fuel pump fuse from the fuse box under the dash in my '88 Camaro. Then again, who would want to steal an '88 Camaro with the "mighty" 2.8L which a slightly modded VW Type I could smoke off the line? 🤣🤣🤣
Wouldn't the wire coming from the new relay prevent the fuse box lid from sealing up and allow moisture to enter?
@ 1:15
So a secondary switch on the low current relay signal circuit. How can you patent a technology that’s been around since the invention of the relay?
@@vipercrazy CORRECT... THANK YOU!!!
What's the oldest cars, that it would work on
So if it disables the starter , does that mean my remote start will no longer work?
Couldn’t you just grab the same size relay that’s beside it and swap them? I feel like the obvious wire coming out of one relay might give a thief an idea
Hi, are you guys going to make one for Nissan/infiniti in the near future?
Will this reset or mess anything up with the electronics or radio?
Prob a silly question, but will it reset my dashboard settings and will this work for newest models
You just stated it was different... he patented his and sinotrack can patented theirs.. why ? Because they are different.
Hi 41.22, great stuff! Does it work for the popular hybrid cars? since they can start and go without starting engine first.
Hi can i use this on my bmw e46 convertible thanks
Im ready to order. Is this compatible with a 2020 Silverado?
Love the idea, but can a 'momentary switch " be used instead reason being one may forget to turn on everytime .
It's good that you decided to make the switch bright red so it's easier to see. Maybe you could offer a deluxe model with a lighted switch so it can be found in the dark. LOL
so your saying all the have to do is buy a relay at the dealer and then pop it in and it will work. 10 second job.
Will this work on a 2008 Harley FLSTN DELUXE?
I had to install this switch on my car because a mystery happened with my fuel system..when i went to start the car it would flood my car..yes talking about injectors..i pulled the fuel pump fuse..start the car..just before car died i pop in the fuse..it worked! So i install a stitch under dash so not have to find the fuse and pull it..i took my car to get fixed and the mechanic said something wromg with my car..will start then dies at 1st..i forgot to tell him about the switch😂😂😂but yeah i felt comfortable with the switch installed..knew nobody would figure it out!🥳🥳
Will the work on 04-06 mercedez sprinters ???
can the switch be swapped with one that matches other switches already installed on dash?
It doesn't prevent them from unlocking your vehicle and getting inside... if you have it where they can find it, they're just going to start flipping switches until the vehicle starts...it's meant to be hidden.
I knew someone who had one but the switch somehow turned off petrol to one injector or something like that so engine would crank but not start.
Do you have a relay for my rav4 2022
Hey
Just ordered one and am looking to get a tracking number, but your email doesn't work... any advice?
Do u have it fot 2024 ford lariat hybrid?
LOL. "The Greatest Nation on Earth", yet you need videos like this to keep your car safe.
Great idea, but what if you have a 'stick shift'? You don't need the starter motor because you can just 'bump start' a manual transmission....
Do have one for a 2015 lexus gs 350?
Hi i can not found the way to oder it
Order 1 for 2020 dodge durango. But when Installed light on dash come on. Auto start is disabled.???
Your vehicle is probably detecting the starter is disabled (whole point of the Kill Switch). After you start your vehicle, you can always flip the Kill Switch off, and it should put it back to normal operation (if you need your start/stop feature).
When i first started driving, almost 40 years ago, i remember asking a few people if something like this existed. The only answer i ever got was that i could take one of the leads off the battery.
