You covered topic well... But you should also make video for Health check up awareness too... Although check ups are costly but basic pathology check ups are affordable like Lipid profile, Sugar Profile and Thyroid profile. Also make video on Vitamin and Minerals deficiency in masses... Many Health ailments are causes for it .. stress is not only reason 😅
The video was good and informative, keep up the work

French here, married to an Indian man. My in-laws came for a 4-month visit last year. It was very hard to say no to the delicious Indian food my MIL made every day. I gained more than 15kg despite being naturally thin... The problem is the amount of added sugar, fat, deep-fried food, sauces and oils they use even in traditional Indian dishes. But also the food portions are 3x bigger than an average french plate. My MIL couldn't walk more than 2/3km per day while my own parents (same age) run every morning the equivalent of 10km a day. After talking to them and introducing them to walking their health started to improve, it was very nice to see. Unfortunately, I think this is the result of the lack of awareness about nutrition and the importance of physical exercise...
This is so true. My mom, also thin started gaining weight after marriage, childbirth and then COVID. She went from a thin, slender 45 kg to 135 kg. She tripled. Her weight in 10-12 years time and now she cant walk a flight of stairs without catching her breath
And so called "Body positivity" is slowly making this issue more severe

We should not view BMI as a comprehensive measure of fitness. For example, my BMI is 26, which falls into the overweight range. However, my body fat percentage is 19%, with the remaining weight comprising muscle and bone mass. This highlights the limitation of relying solely on BMI to assess overall fitness.
Exactly
when ever i feel like im getting fat, i get back on a strict diet. otherwise i do eat whatever i find, which definitely is not good for my body
Try creating a Diet chart.. and do incorporate maximum 2 cheat meals in it... no cheat days.. only 2 cheat meals.. per week...
If consuming high calorie cheat meals like pizza, burger, french fries l... then it will be =2 cheat meals.. I.e. you can only enjoy pizza .. and nothing else.. that too not more than 2 slices...
Because it's not just high in calories.. it's highly processed as well.. very low in nutrition.. just for taste.. not for health..😅

sir nothing is a called a strict diet , a proper diet can be fullfilling , nutritious and tasty also . Eating no food will not decrease your weight in long term but eating healthy will reduce your weight significantly . so a diet should not be serious , it should be a part of your daily life . following a good diet regularly could be challenging during first but eventually you will get there . I hope u stay healthy .
And here is me who struggle for gain weight 😭😢
The root cause of obesity is stress and anxiety which is caused by cut throat competition in the corporate world, where people always live with the fear of getting terminated. To add up to the above we have skyrocketing cost of living causing immense pressure on common people. When we are stressed, we feel hungry all the time and to compensate for that, our body demands more food causing obesity. We need a new economic system.
Well said
It's nothing like that. People just don't want to workout and eat healthy. They are content on eating fast food. I'm a student, always under pressure but still time to workout for 1 hour daily and eat only homemade less oily foods. And I'm proud of myself for never eating at a fast food joint.
@@Cloud99649 Yes, obviously. What I meant to say that all of us should start working out more, and reduce the amount of saturated fat, sodium, sugar, oils, etc. in our diet. Your goal is to be fit, and you must be ready to commit yourself to that.

One important point is not to bodyshame or fatshame young kids. I used to be a smart child but later at age around 8-9 I became overweight. Then I was mocked by my brothers etc as fat. This made me so embarrased that I started avoiding all physical activity n lost all my self esteem. When we had any race in school, I refused to run thinking that I will look bad running as a fat girl. I was so superly conscious of my body movements that I started hiding myself and so never went to play any game in fear of being stand out, being looked and mocked by people. This in turn makes one more fat. So I had lots of bodywieght growing up with no physical actvity. Finally I got rid of that weight after school life only by walks and diet.
My child is one years old and he is very healthy. But not fat. He looks skinny but consumes a very healthy diet. But I'm fed up with the society. They keep commenting that he is too weak. I don't know why can't people live in peace without passing such comments😢
People are like that only. They themselves are unfit and not in shape at all but expect others to be picture perfect. Your kid will thank you when he will grow up bcz he will look better than his peers. Maintain that and dnt overfeed him bcz of people's comments.
Make sure he starts playing sports when he'e 5 or 6. And keeps playing sports for the rest of his life.
A child eating healthy food and still skinny is not a matter of concern.

1. Calculate your maintenance calories (easily doable in google)
2. Eat less than that much calories (20 to 30 percent less depending on your goals)
3. Fulfil your calorie goal in the following way 30-40 percent from fats, 30-40 percent from proteins, 30-40 percent from carbohydrates. Also remember dietary fats doesn't make you fat, don't shy away from it. It will help you reduce your cravings (quality and quantity obviously do matter). Eat food low in glycemic index. You can watch credible youtube videos regarding the nutrition part but as a thumb rule please restrict sugar, maida and refined oil, dalda consumption (I didn't consume this at all for like 4-5 months)
4. Make sure not to eat anything after 6-7 PM.
5. Get plenty of sleep, 7 hrs minimum
6. Cardio exercise helps

Well, i must say that everyone should take care of their health to feel good and i am saying it from my personal experience. I was an obese child during my school days,my classmates used to bully me alot, saying ( kam khaa, moti ,bhains )! my face body everything was not good !! during lockdown my weight was almost 117 kg that was my peak weight ,as per my age my weight was so much i was 15 only but my weight was actually breaking records, i still remember that i was so depressed my menstrual cycle was all messed up my skin hair all was getting worst then i decided to work on myself with full my effort, when i used to workout my body fat was very much that it used to jiggle and i used to cry due to excess weight, but
i wanted to look good most importantly i wanted to feel secure in my own body, i worked on myself then i started seeing changes in my body i started losing weight somehow i reached 100kg weight that was where i was literally proud of myself , I started making more healthy changes throughout and Now, i am 19 y/o actually fully fit weighing 58 kgs with God's grace all thanks to myself that i never gave up. After this much weight loss i can clearly say that it is worth it. My hair skin all are very healthy and perfect. I look more attractive and beautiful. Even my classmates who used to bully me now complement me. I can wear clothes of my own choice otherwise earlier i struggled a lot to find my size that was max 5Xl now i am in Small size.
So if anyone who is obese and want to lose weight than my first advice is that you have to start right now the time is now don't wait to lose your weight. Start now. Take small steps. Start with a walk but do it consistently start with cutting down 100 calories .Have patient , weight loss takes time and effort, where consistency is a key it took me almost 4 years to get rid of entire weight. Make sure to lose weight in a very healthy manner to make body attractive.
Stay happy and start now, Have faith on yourself.

Yeah its a major problem but nowadays people have time to scrolling reels but now have 15-20 min for exercise
I was overweight throughout my childhood and this affected my confidence, after 20 I started to reduce my calorie intake and increased physical activity. Within 6 months I reduced 18 kgs and now again because of pregnancy I gained weight but within 9 months i reduced 14kgs. You get a different kind of attention when you're slim and fit. I was bodyshamed in my childhood and I've gone through the trauma. I look younger for my age and nobody could say that I'm a mom too.

Another thing is that we still don't have a gym culture in India. Also, in most cases, there are so many bad myths about it and it is actively hated by people around us. I am saying this from experience in my family of more than 100 people. I'm the only one trying to be fit and going to the gym. Kids from my family want to go to the gym, but their parents don't let them for a multitude of reasons. Ranging from height nahi badegi to you'll get injured to, you'll look even worse if you stop going to the gym or it's expensive or it's considered trying to be cool.
And if u try to workout at home they will say "what are you doing go study"
As a former obese person. I would like to throw a lime light on stress eating. Also it's very easy to lose weight, all you need is to make your diet more natural and less of sugar and sodium. Try to drink more water and if possible take your ass to the gym 👍

Btw those escalator are a boon for older people but curse for younger ones
Simple reason, In processing of making highly productive crop we ended up the crops which have high yields but low in fiber content. Our ancestors use to eat millets, and brown rice, red rice etc. Today we eat basmati, white rise. Maida also knowing as white poison. Its really necessary to avoid Maida in rotis. I see these days you wont find whole wheat rotis in restaurants, where ever you go you will see that white color rotis made of Maida.. Apart from changing food , changing life style too is necessary. Daily walking is mandatory, we got too lazy that we cant clean our house, we cant clean our utensils, we cant wash our cloths even those who do use machines. So obviously you will be sitting more than doing any physical work. Even those go to gym start looking bulky and huge, its not good at all. A perfect body is where you can jump , run, flex your body. Not which restrict your movement.

I agree with all the statements but the point mentioned where you said that the govt has to take actions, I feel like it will never happen as India is already a well developed country in terms of economy. A major part of which has happened due to MNCs, and we all know some of the leading MNCs are food chains. So not only removing Ads will affect their profits, It will affect our whole country as we might have to lose your grip on the extensive MNCs present here and at I don't think that this decision will ever be taken as govt will not let any lose grip in any sector. Otherwise its an amazing video very helpful to our fellow teenagers and Bachelors.
