    Young man I take my hat off to you you are a mechanic that a lot of places would love to have especially tractor supply and tractor repair you have a knack for figure and things out without a manual and believe me that's a god-given gift right there I enjoy watching you your concise and precise in your explanation of everything that you do it's nice seeing you saved that old tractor Good luck young man

    talk to Pete from just a few acres farm he is a very knowledgeable man on these tractors if you have a problem he would be the man to talk to he can pull these apart like every nut and bolt and put them back together if you ever need parts he could tell you where to get them

    Great job getting the H to run again. I like the Little Genius #8 plow; I have one just like it for my H.

    The muffler straightening was a bad idea ! Lol. Should have removed, heated with torch then slid over a pipe in a vice to bend. I have patched holes in exhaust manifold with just a screw. Tacky I know, but it’s worked for 20 years ! I like your channel !

    Thanks for investing time and dollars into this H to keep it away from the scrap heap so it can continue to be productive. Blessings to you.

    👌👌👍👍 Nice work and thanks for the video. And thanks for resisting the urge to hold the camera in your hand, like many so-called "content providers" do, which invariably causes the video to shake and wave around randomly.

    I just discovered your channel. I love old tractors. I had a 1951 8N for over 40 years. I watched the two part video on the 8N you were restoring. I hope to see the next video on the rest of the restoration soon. I am not familiar with a Farmall H. I was wondering ... when you drove off in it did you have it in 1st gear? It seemed awfully fast to plow with if that was 1st. Thank you for posting these old tractor videos. Keep up the good work!

      @thesmallenginekid  ปีที่แล้ว

      Right, I think I was driving in 3rd gear. I submitted my Farmall M restoration in the Chevron Tractor Restoration Competition. You can vote 3 times a day for me as a Fan Favorite! Thanks www.chevrontrcvoting.com/Voting/Details?entryId=37

      They just didn’t have any choice, it had to get done. Have a safe and productive haying season, I did that every year in some capacity from age 5 to age 30. I miss it, but my back doesn’t!

    Hey Andrew, what's the plan with this Farmall H? I am probably 3 times your age and just about to buy my first tractor, a 1939 Farmall H. There's plenty on your channel that I'm sure will help me. I've never restorted a cardboard box let alone anything else! Mike

      Right now it needs a few little things like new battery terminals and a new needle and seat but I use it occasionally to move trailers around.

    I have a tractor you can have if you’d like it. I think it’s a 1948. It’s a grey fergie. My grandfather was a dealer and this was the first one he bought. Runs but the block is cracked between the cylinders. Common issue as I’m sure you know. We do have a block that’s good for it. The tins are descent shape. The rear rims are junk, fronts good. Tires would be ok for static display but they are the originals. It’s located in Parish NY. I’m not sure if you travel that far. I’m not sure how to find contact info on here. Reach out if your interested we’ll get together on it. It’s free for the taking.

    Well I may be an old fart but there was a day when most American cars had a bumper jack a lot like the farm jack you referred to a most unsafe. Plenty of people dropped cars on the side of the road when changing a tire with them. I was especially fun on a hot day on asfalt when the base of the jack would sink unevenly to start the car going over and down. Late 50s and early 60s boulevard barges wer the best at this trick. Some of the connection schemes between the jack and the bumper were less than ideal too.
