Why do the Jedi and Sith have to be that absolute, only Luke in episode 6 was smart enough to forget about Yoda's and Obiwan's advice about emotions and let himself feel rage in order to beat Vader then realize it was only worth that specific moment only.
Yeah Alexei you’re right. Only Kreia was well written in that sense, though she had an absolutism of a different and more interesting kind. The cartoon nature of the villains / heroes outside of Kreia just has me cringing all the time. Falling to the Dark Side and then becoming comically evil instantly is so silly. From how Bastilla talks here to how Anakin killed younglings to etc etc.
@@ringmake7558 the jedi fear the dark side when they should imbrace it. i used to believe the jedi were right to dismis the dark side-but after more in-deph thinking-particularly in yoda's case-i see it for what it truly is-a means to exaimine your true self and a means to see and face your inner demons. say whatever you want about the sith-but they are true to themselves.

The Jedi problem is mainly dogmatic whereas Siths think about power to no end (most of them), a wiser view would be to acknowledge and embrace those feelings to get smart enough to control them then think about the world's issues later on

Luke didn't intentionally use rage to beat Darth. He got legit super pissed at him for threatening Leia
