  • 1st time I've really combined Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2 in one vid. :p
On the subject of redemption, Ajunta Pall's story is an interesting one. Depending on how you choose to handle him with Revan, you call tell Atton how it went and get a little snippet about it from Kreia in K2.
Interesting to note here, is that Ajunta recognizes you as Revan (before you know of it yourself). I went to Korriban early on in this play-thru.

WOW! This is my very 1st vid that's recieved honors. Yay me!!! :D And I ♥ you guys!

Ajunta Pall was one of the most memorable and fascinating characters in the game. A Sith Lord of the ancient times, his spirit has been walled up in his tomb for centuries as he comes to rue what he has done. Too bad his in-game appearance didn't do him justice - a generic "Dark Jedi Male" with a cheesy shield effect.

“It... we were not the first to fall to dark side. But we... had more power than those before us. It... came from elsewhere.” This is a very interesting line of dialogue. Is Ajunta Pall referencing the Rakata Infinite Empire, or the star forge, or even the Proto-Sith? I always liked to hypothesize that the star forge was not a Rakatan creation but an ancient relic of a race that opposed the Celestials. This race could be the original dark siders, because of Pall’s wording choice ‘came from elsewhere’
“Our oldest secret. Only... only we would know. We lords. Only we would know where our power came from...”
This dialogue leads one to believe that he was not talking about the rakata because they were wielders of the Force, specifically the dark side, not the source of the dark side. Maybe Pall was referencing the star forge, as the source of the dark side that drew the dark Jedi exiles out to the unknown regions of korriban. But it would be nice to think these ancient Sith Lords knew of a deeper revelation, like a primordial race that first spawned the dark side.

Ajunta Pall didn't live to see the day that Darth Vitiate rose to power, Ajunta Pall was part of the old Sith empire/Original Sith empire which predated by many years the reconstituted Sith empire (post great hyperspace war) which was under the leader ship of Emperor Vitiate, to give some more depth to what I say, Ajunta Pall died at some point and his roll as leader of the old Sith empire was taken by Dark Lord Naga Sadow who led the Sith empire to war against the Republic which was known as the great hyperspace war, eventually the second battle of Korriban happened destroying the old Sith empire and they're followers, Vitiate survived this and led the surviving followers into the unknown regions of space in the hopes of rebuilding a new Sith empire to strike back at the republic and this new empire was known as the reconstituted Sith empire established on Dormund Kaas. Ajunta Pall could have no knowledge of such an empire as its was many, many years after his death and korribian wasn't rediscovered by Vitiate's Sith empire until hundreds of years later when they decided to show themselves to the republic and wage war. The secret that Ajunta Pall is referring to is unknown but it can be presumed it is the star map on Korriban as when it is mentioned you have a dialogue option asking Ajunta Pall if its the star map and he states that it might be but he no longer remembers and if you try to intimidate him on it he attackes stating he will never tell. Not alone that but Ajunta Pall has visions if Revan will find this place again and then states that he will and that Revan will regret it. He states that Revan will regret it because he can probably sense it was part of what led Revan down the path to the dark side in his quest to find the star forge with Malak. So Ajunta Pall clearly can sense that Revan found it before, presumably with malak. Rakata star map technology is strong in the Dark Side of the force that is how they work, they draw upon it to function, Also Malak in a Kotor 1 cut scene inside the Dantooie Rakata ruins says to Revan that this place is strong in the dark side of the force. That is more than likely all that Ajunta Pall is referring to when he talks about his secret, Ajunta Pall and the old sith found an ancient Rakata star map that is strong in the dark side and they used it to fed of its power, simple, nothing to do with Vitiate because Vitiate wasn't born until 5113BBY, Ajunta Pall didn't establish the old Sith empire until 6900BBY, it is stated on Wookeepedia that Ajunta Pall eventually died several decades later after the establishment of the old Sith empire. The reconstitued Sith empire was established on Dormund Kass around 4980BBY. Taking that Ajunta Pall died several decade after the establishment of the old Sith empire, we can safely say this puts Ajunta Pall out by well over 1700 years of the birth of Vitiate give or take, so no way in hell could he have known of emperor Vitiate and Dormund Kass.

That may be so, but if the power is so wild and always consumes those who follow its path, it doesn't seem all that great. Is there never a neutral? I find in life that true power and enlightenment is through clarity and not through clouding or blocking off judgment such as the Jedi or Sith. Sith being clouded and Jedi being blocked or severed. They're both disconnected from any real truth there may be. The Sith try to be individually powerful, but ultimately fail because of their redundancy.

Its true the Sith believe love is a weakness. But... Anakin and Reven were unstopable when they were acting (missguidedly) out of love.

Ajunta Pall wasn't talking about Vitiate. Pall was one of the first Dark Lords of the Sith and was alive much earlier before Naga Sadow, Marka Ragnos and Vitiate too. I think Pall was referencing the origin of the dark side. This was something even Emperor Palpatine was searching for at the height of his Galactic Empire before he was killed above Endor in the new cannon.

About Malachor V, it was once a planet covered with large plains and meadows. Much like Dantooine, but Malachor V was bristling with Dark Side Power. The wind could weaken one's connection to the Light and slowly turn him evil. That's about it. There's very little known about Malachor V

With this music playing, and Ajunta Pall talking, it reminds me of emperor palpatine, in that scene in Return of the Jedi, where Palpatine talks to Luke before his fight with Vader. Great job 5/5

Ajunta Pall's ghost explains that there is a form of an afterlife in the Star Wars universe. It seems that when you die in the dark side of the force, you will be in a world full of darkness, loneliness, regret, and it is cold. When someone calls you, you can awake for a bit, but once that time is over, you return to the cold sad pit. Fortunately for Ajunta Pall, the dark side ghosts can still redeem their souls, even after death. Talk about lucky. If that is the case, then why don't all dark side users do the same thing? Although I think that no one deserves to be tormented for eternity, I found Ajunta Pall's redemption to the light seemed to be rather quick and easy.

Because they were so consumed by the Dark Side, consumed by their arrogance and foolish pride, all they want is more destruction and death. Ajunta Pall knew of this when he was a spirit. He wanted to let go. And the player finally allowed him to let go. To find peace.

Okay first, great voice acting. Second, yeah KOTOR will possibly never been canon with this Sith spirit thing after death. I know it was possibly nearly with the Clone Wars and Revan but eh now they really got some making up to do if they everrrrrrr make this official. Us true KOTOR fans will have a ton of questions forsure.

The true Sith Homeworld was Korriban. The Sith began evolving on Korriban around 100.000BBY. After the Rakata were driven off korriban by King Adas, the Sith used their enemies' ships to colonize Ziost. Dromund Kaas was colonized around the time of Ajunta Pall: +/-6.900BBY, but soon lost, faded in memory.

He wasn't Emperor during the Great Hyperspace War, he was simply a surviving Sith Lord. The leader of the Sith during that war was Naga Sadow.
Also, are you sure the first Sith Lords learned the darkest secrets on Drommund Kaas? Althought it was once a Sith colony, I always believed that they developed their powers mainly on Korriban, their ancient capital world.
I agree though that Revan and Malek likely ended up at Drommund prior to KOTOR1 since they met with the Emperor.

@winterscott1991 Sith'ari was Bane, although I would like to think that it would be Revan. Revan went to Nathema and was captured by a pureblood Sith and was taken to Dromund Kaas and was imprisoned for three years until broken out by Lord Scourge and Meetra Surik(Exile). After KOTOR 2 The Exile tracked Revan to Dromund Kaas and was killed by Scourge while trying to fight the Sith Emperor. And Revan got his full memory back.
