This was the first time a lot of us heard the name “Razor Ruddock.” This was when he was known primarily as a boxer and before he perfected his “smash.” Interesting seeing him in boxer mode: a good jab, decent movement and footwork for a big guy. Once he got the reputation of being a power puncher, he abandoned this part of his game.
Yep razor has tremendous power and fell in love with the smash. Essentially became a one handed fighter who refused to use his jab and rarely if ever used head movement.

In round 4 we saw the famous Ruddock left hook, which clearly got Weaver's attention: it's why Weaver stopped going in for the kill after shaking Ruddock since he/Weaver was afraid to get hit again by that left hook (he covered up big time). Weaver: 2, 3, 4, 8. Ruddock: 7, 10.
