Acorn Stair Lift Review. Recently installed Acorn StairLift. Video shows it in operation, points out a few things about it, how it works, folds, charges, etc.

I have the same stairlift at home and wouldn't want to do without it. Got it second hand for a favourable price. Made the mistake of pulling the plug out before going on holiday without turning the lift off. The battery now needs exchanging. Other than that the stairlift proves useful for a variety of things that would be awkward /risky with a steep staircase even if you have no mobility problem, for example, carrying heavy items and boxes up and down, carrying trays with food. Today we used it for a small filing cabinet - great stairlift.

I just took my acorn 120 out of storage, for upcoming knee surgery it was working perfectly, cannot get it to work getting either a H2 or H4b code, have had it on the rail charging for 24 hours. any suggestions?

I have acorn superglide 130 shows me an e3 error how to remove it? Anyone can say anything? The wine seems blocked but I do not know how to unblock it

Today, my mothers stair lift kept beeping and stopping while ascending upstairs. I noticed after a while, that it wasn’t charging. In fact, there was no light display. The key position was on. The unit was plugged in. The on/off switch was positioned so the “O” symbol was pushed down. I pushed this switch to see what would happen. I heard a beep, but nothing else happened. So I pushed the switch again, which also resulted in a beep sound but nothing else. The light display was still off. The clickers had no effect nor did the chair switches. The battery to the chair was replaced in December…… for $250……I have to solved this problem or my mom won’t be able to get downstairs without being carried.

Hi how to manually winding the stairlift when the lift has got.no power? I got F6 sign. Also when doing manual winding how to remove the break? I can't wind it because i believe some break is engaged. Thanks

try turning it off on the main power switch on the top safety edge cover, it will be engaged because the power supply is on

My Parents stairlift is giving us an A1 code. "Not parked on charging pad"? No matter where it is parked. Any ideas?

my chairlift is about 2 yeasrs old and used ver little but it has no power to the chair it is getting power but the light does not come on any advice would be helpful

You cant. It lost its programming. Has to be reprogrammed. Although there is a way to do it I cant advise it. You'll get stuck halfway up or down the stairs.

The manual shows a "Hand Winding Wheel" and brief instructions, but neglects to show location of access hole.
Does it require removal of a panel?

Just had a 130 installed in my parents home. It works fine, but makes a “clicking” type noise at different intervals on its ascent and it’s descent. It doesn’t do it all the time while the chair is traveling. Is this normal? Doesn’t sound like it is. Just not sure. Thanks.
