2:39 Oh shit, "like the hunter when a prey lies/that's just how the world's like" is a reference to how Liu Xiao asked Tianchen if he knew the difference between a hunter and a beast, and told him soon he'd get the chance to be a "hunter"! And before that, how he was his "new friend" that told him the strong destroy the weak. Plus there's that whole little animation of the hunter showing the brother fox how to use a bow and arrow. I thought maybe it was meant to represent how Qian Jin took both of them under his wing and basically used Tianchen (though Tianchen says they were both just using each other in the end) to kill certain people. But maybe the "hunter" in that little cartoon wasn't Qian Jin, maybe it was Liu Xiao! Also just noticed how Liu Xiao has a puppet in his hand (technically a marionette) like the line at 0:34 "you're tied on my strings like a puppet" so yeah definitely I think he is probably going to be the BBEG of the show that they all have to come together to defeat! Unfortunately we still know so little about his motives though, just something about how he wants to merge all the timelines? But why?
The one line at 1:28, "mastermind stays in the dark" could have a double meaning. Like how the "mastermind" behind everything, the puppeteer, always lurks in the dark, behind the scenes (much like we see Liu Xiao do). It could also mean though that the "mastermind" stays "in the dark" about something, remains ignorant of something. Which could mean there is something Liu Xiao is unaware of. The whole "let my flame be your redemption/if you ever feel helpless/just take it in and we'll have some fun" could be referring to how Liu Xiao seems to suddenly appear in Xi Tianchen's life offering him "advice" (which ultimately is what leads to him killing his father and, inadvertently, his mother). God I already love and hate this character, he really does remind me of your Mephistopheles-type devil that lures others in with promises of help when they are at their lowest/most vulnerable. Also scares me because now that makes me wonder if he is the one that somehow gave Xi Tianchen and Xi Tianxi their powers? Also is it just me or does Liu Xiao look sort of like an evil priest or somethin with that black hat and long black coat?
But it's interesting to note how this song is layered over Lu Guang looking at a photograph and apologizing for breaking his own rule to Cheng Xiaoshi before clapping his hands and going back in time to save him. Then it cuts to the (presumably?) present day with Lu Guang staring at Cheng Xiaoshi and continues over the credits. So I wonder if in some ways this song could also apply to Lu Guang (or part of it at least). "Time is a hypocritical construct" referencing how Lu Guang is kind of a hypocrite lol, since he told Xiaoshi over and over again to not change the past. The whole part about "but I rise up from the dust (again and again)" maybe refers to Lu Guang going back in time to save Xiaoshi? The "again and again" part scares me, it implies Lu Guang has gone back in time many times (again assuming it is referring to him). Plus it mentions some kind of "deal with a demon". Oh god please don't tell me that demons exist now and Lu Guang made a deal with one or something goddammit. Though I suppose it could be metaphorical too, like Lu Guang metaphorically made a "deal with the devil" to save Xiaoshi, since making a "deal with the devil" is a common English idiom (I think that's the right word?) that people use to mean that they, or someone else, did something that they shouldn't have done, in the hopes of obtaining some kind of desire. Or someone might say that an offer is a "deal with the devil" to mean that the decision they are being given is like a "double-edged sword" in that it's very tempting (especially if they are already in a desperate situation) but also morally wrong/would cause harm. Following that same vein of logic, perhaps "mastermind stays in the dark" refers to how Lu Guang (the "mastermind" behind it all that came up with the plan to go back in time to save Xiaoshi in the first place) is still in the dark himself about Liu Xiao or something else. In other words, the puppeteer who doesn't realize that he himself is somebody else's puppet.

How was lu Guang able to teleport back to past?? Doesn't he have the power of an observer?
Here's my theory
Remember when tianxi told tianchen to run and held Qiao ling and Qiao Ling inherited her memories... There was such a memory where lu guang was also holding cheng Xiaoshi when he died that's why I think he was able to use cheng Xiaoshi's power.
Back when cheng Xiaoshi was fighting Qiao ling in ep 1 of S2 tianchen said that he wanted his power and I think it needs some kind of contact while dying just like they share their power while holding hands and clapping..
If this is true then we might see Qiao ling using tianxi's power..
