This a weekly breakdown series where I theorize and build upon previous episodes.
All theories are based on my personal analysis and not meant to be taken completely serious and is meant to open discussion for each episodes that release.
Missed last week's upload because I lost my voice due to COVID.

I origanally thought that diving into pictures was another one of Lu Guangs abilities. And that Cheng Xiaoshi was a regular dude that worked with him and voluteered to dive. But when I found out diving into pictures was Cheng Xiaoshi's power, I thought, "Why does Lu Guang know more about Cheng's power than Cheng does?" 🤔🤔
yeah! and we don't even know how they met each other and learnt about their powers. Since they're both relatively shocked to learn that other people have powers, it couldn't be that Lu Guang had an outside mentor…right? I also felt like Lu Guang's overprotectiveness and the fact that he would always tell Cheng Xiaoshi during his dives was kind of weird, but I can see why now.
A crazy detail is that in both S1 and 2, the backgrounds in EVERY scene is kinda acrylic and photo-ish. BUT in the overseas trip arc, the background is VERY realistic. This must mean the show was from LG’s POV the whole time. We were tricked into thinking it was CXS as the MC the whole time. And that he dived back after the overseas trip to safe CXS??
That is an interesting concept. I never thought about the different art style having implications on whose narrative is being shown.

I think that when Cheng Xiaoshi died he gave his powers to Lu Guang , like Li tianxi to Qiao Ling or Lu Guang took them away himself.
That would be interesting if powers can transfer after death!

I gotta say, this show is such a rollercoaster of thrills with crazy cliffhangers, actions and plot twists. kinda bummer that it wasn't big as those new gen anime shows nowadays cuz it's not "japanese".
It's unfortunate that it will automatically be a skip to a lot of people because it was something made in China, even if it's a good series.
And people would rather watch some trash animes (there r many) but won't give a chance to this. And how must give excuses as cuz "not japanes so it would sound weird" like bruh no u sound fking weird.

So Lu guang from the very start was changing the past In order to stop Cheng Xioshi from dying and would get mad at Cheng Xioashi to not alter the past because if he does then that would complicate things for Lu guang in changing the Past WAO So all this time he was trying to save Cheng Xioshi by over using his powers(it kinda explains his eye bags too) That's some dedication
Let's see whether that hot guy with the the hat is successful in killing Cheng Xioshi or Lu guang succeeds in keeping Cheng Xioshi alive

I wonder if Lu guang was more “immature” in the og timeline. Like, the first timeline, was he more expressive and openly happier? Now he does seem constantly tired. Depending on how many times hes reset the timeline, he could be pretty old 😭

Something that seems important too me, is that in the flashback we see lu guang's clothes covered in blood, and his hand stabbed. This heavily implies some third party either attacked CXS directly, or possessed someone to do so. It's also worth noting in S1E6 we see that file #7 is missing from the police victims, out of 8 total with Emma being the first. Given the timelines we know Emma dying in April, this happening in October it seems potentially plausible that CXS could have been the 7th victim and Lu Guang has stolen the files or made them dissapear. This feels like the sort of show where that could be relevant.
Edit: Also I have yet to see anyone else even notice this, but if you go frame by frame at about 2:07 in S2E1, you can actually see some text flash on the screen breifly. It's hard to make out what it says.
These are some interesting points to think about. Good catch on the files, that could definitely be something note worthy.

This show is so good i knew they weren;t just gonna end the show without a proper look on Lu gaung's strange behavior and how he feels you know? We also need some sort of backstory on the powers and Lu guang too since we already got Cheng Xiaoshi's
Yeah, Lu Guang is a mystery and we didn't really get much info on him other than him meeting Cheng at a basketball court.

Guys I have a theory about a potential scene for season three. Season two shows reveals Lu Guang inside a forest holding on to Cheng Xiaoshi body. Season two opening revealed a scene of Lu Guang and a possessed Qiox Ling falling inside a forest even though none of the scenes include being in a forest in season two. However when the reverse came back the forest was skipped in the opening.
I have my own theories. I think that the transfer of memories that Li Tianxi did to Qiao Ling was similar to what we saw from Lu Guang's perspective, where he was holding a potentially dead Cheng, who was possibly the only one with the photo dive power. When he died, his power had transferred to Lu Guang, and the sole reason he had more knowledge about that power was because of the time he spent with Cheng. As Lu Guang dived back into the past, he kept events going slightly the same, with the only exception being that he was guiding Cheng through all his dives under the assumption that his ability was to see 12 hours from the moment the photo was taken, while convincing Cheng that his powers only allowed him to go back for 12 hours. I agree that he can only see up to 12 hours and that Cheng can possibly stay in a photo infinitely. What I believe is truth is that Lu Guang is unable to go into photos like Cheng because he is already in the photo, and if he claps, he could return to either the same timeline where Cheng is dead, or to a completely different timeline where the past has been changed. Now, onto Tianxi and Qiao Ling. I think that Qiao Ling actually does have her powers, but is actually unkowing of this. I think that memory rush Tianxi gave was actually the way the transfer works. If she talks to the others about it, Lu Guang may realize what had happened, but I have no clue as to what he may do with that new information. The hat guy is the friend Tianchen talked with in the past when they were just children, as the bench is the same exact spot, and Liu Min's brother. I'm sure many, or at least some, people know about this, but what I feel not many know is the possibility that he had been using, or at least knowledgeable, about his power, which I believe is that he can see the lines of fate for, potentially, all people, ever since he was a child, as his manner of actions and speaking to Tianchen now was the exact same as in the past. It may, however, be a massive shot in the dark, but these are what I have gathered in my own thoughts. I feel that Qiao Ling may be the key component to the next season, as she may figure out how to unlock Tianxi's powers and delve deeper into Lu Guang's memories, finding out the whole truth
There’s not a lot of link click content on TH-cam that goes deep into the show, so I enjoyed this series a lot!
I’m glad you pointed out the massive time skip between episode one of season one and the rest of the episodes.( especially because Emma’s body wasn’t found until September according to the news reporter Qioa Ling was listening to on her run in episode 3 ). The next date we see is in episode five on October 6, so I just assumed the date in episode one was a mistake and that it was supposed to say September instead of April. However maybe it was on purpose and something happened in the time skip that caused Cheng’s death. I also like the theory that powers can transfer to people after death and that’s why Qioa Ling got to see Tian Xi’s memories. It would also explain why Lu guang has Cheng’s powers. I think Lu guang either jumped back to episode one and has been living out one continuous jump. This could be why he can’t jump in the present.
But that’s just a theory. Can’t wait for you to cover season 3 when it comes out.

I just personally think it would be more interesting for the blurred year to be in the past than future. It would also feel like a long drag out before we reach that date unless they keep time skipping.
Could Lu Guang's "last chance" mean that his ability to travel through photo is cancelled out by a living Cheng Xiaoshi with the same ability (also the possible reason for the future Lu Guang to stay in the past), and Lu Guang can only use this one chance of traveling back in time to save Cheng Xiaoshi as much times as possible?

I assumed Tianxi gave her powers to Qiao Ling when she died but Qiao Ling doesn’t realize she has powers yet since she didn’t trigger the vision of the memories she received.
This would also align with the Tianchen mentioning stealing powers from others at the start of the season.
Yeah, we need see what do they do about that in the next season.
As for what Tianchen said about stealing powers. I think he just wanted to control him, otherwise he'd just pull up with the strap instead of grabbing him lol.
Glad to see you back. I wonder why Lu Guang was surprised that Cheng could "stop" Emma's death if Lu Guang also went back in time to "stop" Cheng's death.
Also, did you know that on the "madebybilibili" channel, they released a Link Click promotional video where it shows Cheng and Lu Guang overseas during the kidnapping arc *I think*.
Think it might be that he is actively preventing Cheng's death but it is still experimental. Emma's death was kind of set in stone. Maybe a more drastic change to the past is needed to save or push the date back?
Also I didn't know that. I will have to check it out 🤔.

The main thing that i have noticed since the start is that we know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about Lu guang. We got to know about cheng xiaoshi's past but all we know about LG is that he was CXS's classmate. Even in the concept pictures, CXS's and QL's ages were revealed but LG's was blurred. Isn't that interesting??
This might mean that LG is not who he seems he is. He always seems to know a lot more about things than anyone else in the series. We also don't know about the origin of the powers. So what if, we find out about the origin of the powers in the next season and that might explain the existence of LG as we don't know about his parents yet.
Also I feel like we are watching the anime from LG's perspective this whole time, and we are ACTUALLY watching THE PAST.
I can say this is because there has been a number of times that LG hides important information from CXS maybe because he know that it might alter the timeline. That is why in the end of s1 he refused to look over Emma's case because he know that if he doesn't interfere with the issue, it just might end up saving CSX from his death. BUT it altered the timeline dude to CSX's interference in Xu shanshan's case. That led to him looking over the case either way.
Damn y'all. This series has made me go crazy TUT. I AM DYING FOR S3. I hope we get all our answers by the end of it. Also i've heard that to save someone in the past, you just have to not meet them in many time travelling shows. So if THAT happens, I think the ending of LINK CLICK will most likely be that LG and CXS never met.

Lu Guang seems more honest to Qiao Ling when she asks. I can imagine her asking him about the memories directly as well when the opportunity comes.

I think the event of S1 did take place calling him a hypocrite is not good, It's the beginning of S2 after he changes. Yes he traveled back in time before the event of S1 (most likely) but still I believe the event of S1 did take place in his original World. Just CSX dying is what he changed in a timeline of S2.
I mean just think if he already saved CSX why would he be shocked to see Emma survive?
Means he doesn't know that death can be altered. So after that event he went back in time. Which means S1 events happened as they did. The timeline changes somewhere after that.
When I called Lu Guang a hypocrite, I didn't mean it in a negative way 🤧.
Also there is a lot of reason for why he could be surprised by Emma potentially surviving. He was also surprised when Tianchen controlled Liu Lan and killed Li Fan. I think he just doesn't have a good grasp on events when it involves other people's powers.
It would be funny if no one killed cxs but he committed suicide instead and that’s what lg meant when he said he wanted to save him.(not a real theory,just thought it was interesting)

I have a theory that the dude with the hat (don’t remember his name lol) is responsible For Lu Guang, Cheng Xiaoshi, and the twins having special abilities. That maybe during the overseas trip he gave it to them seeing the fact that he was with them then based off the new PV that came out.

@@okgin4239 lol yeah, I think it was the episode with the kid getting kidnapped that it was referenced. Also in an episode where Cheng Xiaoshi goes into the photo to help his female friend with her boyfriend (to figure out what he said), they show flashbacks from their school days, and it showed Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi after graduation going on the overseas trip (which tells us it took place after they graduated). I hear that there will be a movie or special episode focusing on that trip. There was a PV teasing it anyway.

Cheng xiaoshi states that either he leaves the photos himself via clapping his hands together or when the 12 hours are up he gets automatically kicked out of it. So no I don’t think he can stay as long as he wants to. I also believe that when cheng died his powers got transferred to lu guang. We also don’t know how long lu guang has been possessed by himself from the future as the date he travels back in time from is also the combination he uses on his phone.and cheng says that lu has used the same password for as long as he’s known him
I think that the reason it was lu's last chance was because they can only enter each photograph once and that was his last one.
My theory is that they got their powers from the earthquake. In the ED we see a basement and experiment going wrong, so that caused the earthquake. And they started to figure out their abilities through traumatic events (cheng having his parents die and the twins too). In episode 12 they say tian xi wasn't always mute but she lost her voice 6 months ago, this could be due to the earthquake. After this we see the brother unconsciously using his power to control others when cheng was getting disconnected with lu guang when they're learning sign language. If cheng and lu's powers involve the past and the twins involve the present, then the man with the hat could have future/foresight abilities
Interesting thought. His parents dying was a pretty big plot point, so that is possible it has some connections.

@@computerwsmallscreen2709 I don't think that was the cause of her being a mute. Mutism can be a selective spectrum of autism. Her health conditions likely progressed at a convenient time where her mother told her not to speak of the matter she overheard.

We saw that scene of Xixi dear giving her powers or at least a glance of then to Qiao Ling after she died (😭), showing to her Xixi's memories, including other people's memories she saw with her ability. We can't know if she did it on purpose to tell qQiao Ling the truth as her last gift for helping her or if it was to show her her previous life and unintentionally showing Lu guang's part (which i doubt.) This is probably what happeened with Cheng too. When he died, he gave them to Lu gang, making him able to go through the pictures past

At least we got answers to why Liu Lan fought back against Li Fan’s abusive behavior. Looks like we got that right to where she did get possessed. I honestly wish Li Tianxi wasn’t mute and I’m kinda hoping she survived being shot.
Yeah they really took their time on revealing to us what happen at the apartment heh. Her being a becoming a mute randomly could be something that comes up in the future.

Really liked watching ur recaps through the whole szn! I feel like this season was kind of a disappointment in the fact that it was kinda slow paced and not much happened, but definitely liked the fact that lg has been saving cxs all along (and the fact that ql saw lg memories)

This season is definitely different than we are use to. I think it's just up to personal taste. The writing was more consistent in Season 1 though.

we all saw that when the pink hair girl died, qiao ling may got her powers, so maybe lu guang got xiaoshi powers when xiaoshi died in the past so lu guang used those powers to bring xiaoshi back to life

Basically the theory is he died on the 9th month and was saved by Lu Guang. When Xiaoling stabbed him he thought the same death node was happening again but was just pushed to a further date.

I remember there's an extra episode which tells the backstory of them. It's a sweet story about a loving couple, but the girl's parents only allow their daughter to marry a man with martial arts skill that is strong enough to defeat her dad, the master, because they're a family lineage of martial artisan. So the boy keeps training and training, but her father is just impossible to defeat. Still, he doesn't give up. He keeps training and even built his own dojo. But time moves faster than his dedication, and the couple is old now. The (now old) girl is still waiting for her proposal, while the (now old) boy is still breaking his bones and getting beat up over and over to be able to propose to her. Eventually he asked for Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi help. I forgot what happened next but you really HAVE to watch that episode.

Cheng "dies" on Sept 13, 12:05 am and we don't know the year. My theory is he already saved him on that day but Min Lu's brother is constantly trying to take his life.

minor pet peeve but cheng is xiaoshi's surname and not his given name so it was kinda weird to hear u calling him by his surname for a good half of the video, pther than that i think your theory makes a lot of sense and i cant wait to see how it all plays out in s3!

I dont think the officer is that good tbh. I think his fighting was more emotionally charged. Who wouldn't give that guy the beat down of his life after his wife was killed FOR NO REASON she was only a Pawn, they didn't have to go that far. So yeah I don't blame him for going demon time on-site. Had some serious business to finish and needed some closure.
Those type situations you don't care what happens it either you eye for eye or join your wife in peace. Notice he was completely oblivious to LG, CX injuries when he arrived. So yeah that was Hella personal for him.

I wish Link Click was made in Japan, not because I have grudge towards Chinese anime but how underrated these Chinese animes are. I have been watching anime since 1 and half year and I didn't knew about Link click before 2024, and many fans still doesn't know about this anime. Even the worst anime made in Japan are popular or at least well known to the fans, so if Link Click was made in Japan, surely lot of fans would've followed it or at least had a hype over link click anime.
