I've played this course a few times and its beautiful. But my god its hard. Especially a lot of long par 3s

I have to agree. Short 9 hole courses are amazing. I have several in my small city and one only 2 min drive away. I go down to the close one and play 30-90min (depending on day light) afterwork. I can take my dog on it too. It costs $15 NZD to play. Crazy cheap. On weekends, I can play the bigger courses. They're also great for people with mobility issues. It just makes golf more accessible to more people.

Oh yessir I grew up playing Walnut Lane Golf Course a par 62 4500 yard course in Philadelphia, it was also our high school team's home course. It's a tough little course because it is all completely in the trees so either you are in the fairways or in the forest. Your shot-making skills need to be spot on. It's why I've always been able to hit more fairways than most folks but just not as far as most folks.

The British Speed Golf Championships were played there on the 15th September, record time was 23 minutes for 18 holes and lowest score was 62.
The more short courses you play, the more chance you have for a hole in one. That would be nice eh?

Matt, while there is still a chance of warmish weather go and play the heather and gorse Reigate Heath GC in Surrey also Nine holes and not long but possibly one of the best nine hole courses in the country. One of the Peter Alliss ' little gems '

Love your show Matt, but why did you lug those woods around??? We have the "WEE COURSE" in Knoxville, TN USA but we just carry 4 clubs. (Par 54)
I mean you keep talking about winning a pro event, qualifying for the Open, blah blah blah. You are a million miles away from it. Get a few lessons, learn how to chip and putt and practice all winter. Putting out this regurgitated content at Sunningdale Heath, that we’ve seen from other content creators simply isn’t the one.
Your dispersement is getting worse...time to go back to the old man for more lessons... looks a brilliant course, very challenging
