I’m right there with you. I’m no Greek god, and unfortunately that is what women want/expect, and that breaks my heart because I know men like that don’t have to work as hard as men less fortunate to gain a keep a good woman’s heart
True love comes when you least expect it. Thirty-nine years ago, a scag of a woman left me and I was heartbroken, and thought it was the end of the world. About a year-and-a-half later, met my second wife. A little bit funny, 'cause I always think as myself somewhat 'ugly', and my initial reaction to seeing her, was less than 5 out of 10; BUT - and this is what was so important: her life experiences, her travels, her reading, her thought process and 'basic philosophy' immediately 'took me aback'. And then fast forward 2, 3, 5, 10 years and more and - her inner beauty manifested itself into outer beauty - and she said as much about me; that the lowly caterpillar kind of metamorphosized into a butterfly (yeah, still don't believe her...). So, here we are 37 years on, and we can literally read each other's thoughts. One door shuts, and seven or ten more open...

Sadly, ironically, this song is a universal masterpiece for the world, especially now with the virus going around. A hand reaches out and can't be reciprocated.

Bruce’s output during this time was a bit MOR AM radio, but still retained his Americana regular lives sensibilities. Nebraska was a dark album, a lo-fi portrait of real life for too many of us. He retained his overly wordy real portrayals of real lives on a shiny album. Don’t forget he got real with the Depression-themed Streinbeck gloomy folk album Ghost of Tom Joad. He channels real life into his music. He speaks truth to real, core, universal human conditions. Thanks, Bruce. Cam from Canada!
I experienced Springsteen in Anaheim, California. For days after the concert, I felt as though my heart and mind were on fire with the power of his artistry.
One thing I love about Bruce Springsteen is when in the middle of performances, he'll throw in that nice, warm smile of his. It tells me that he loves what he does and is passionate about music.
Last summer he performed here in Oslo when he at the end of the concert took a little girl up on the stage and they both started to sing >Waiting on a sunny day< It was wonderful how that 3 year old girl sang with him and she knew the lyrics just as him

April 2020 - Who doesn't want a little human touch? I just want a little something to hold on to... just a little of that human touch. Who else is listening to this song during the Pandemic?
I just had a small argue with my wife when listening to this. She said it was very loud. I reminded her that I bought the CD in 1995 in Heathrow Airport in our high-school trip to London. We were dating since a few months then, dated for more years and are now married since 2005. She agreed and in the end increased the volume a little bit further. Good memories have to kept and good sound needs to be heard loud!

Song never ages
@@wackopj Bruce's music is part of my life.
This song came out in 92. Who would've thought it would become so drastically relevant 28-30 years later? Well, I've found many other Bruce songs to be relevant to many other contexts, way beyond what you would expect, so I can't be surprised really. He's just timeless...
I come back to this song like every 3-5 years or so. Love it.
YES❤ TIMELESS 💜💖WE ALL MISS TOUCH🙏💖💜
We're sure going to appreciate a little of that human touch when all this is over. Love and peace everyone. Stay safe....and wash your hands!
AWESOME SONG 🙇♂️🙇♂️
Absolutely
there is no need to wash your hands - get them dirty I say
As long as Fauci stops f#*@ around with bat viruses.
don't blame the bats
He sings with such emotion, great music and a great band
2021 and I continue to listen to this great song. One of the most undervalued songs by the Boss.
I agree. I'm stuck on this song. I've been playing it over and over and over and over for years!
I was so close to ending my life. This song touched me in no way any other could reach me. That's all I needed to keep going. Listened to it over and over. I felt worthy and felt I needed to reach out also. I am so glad and grateful for the song that saved me
For me, it so easily goes into my top 10 greatest ever.
You spoke well ✌️
For me it's by far his best one
To be able to write masterfully and heartfully is a gifted level of genius. This song resonates for more than the obvious reasons. Absolute pure love 💞❤🔥💘❣

What an amazing song. Wish there were more ........ Nothing tops this one.
Not to mention how hot The Boss looked in the video...yum
Jeff Porcaro....toto
Sadly, ironically, this song is a universal masterpiece for the world, especially now with the virus going around. A hand reaches out and can't be reciprocated.
Absolutely 👍
A virus???
The only thing spreading around the world is fear and obedience to authority. Those are the real disease. The death of care will perpetuate humanity’s enslavement .

This is a brilliant song. Lots of positive energy. Bruce is a great artist.
You are lucky man..i never see him alive .....i must before i die ..only ones...he is THE BEST SINGER IN THE WORLD!!!
ive saw him every time he has played Scotland and at the ripe old age of 64 I would go again and again and again

Omg yes
Kevin Heihn me too
Kevin Heihn this song is superb one of his best. Album wasn’t as good which kinda sheltered how good this was
One thing I love about Bruce Springsteen is when in the middle of performances, he'll throw in that nice, warm smile of his. It tells me that he loves what he does and is passionate about music.
Exactly!! Love it
I agree.
If you were wrong this man wouldn't have come up with all this music and lyrics in his time and still be going also,he is a f**"ing legend!
Olga Levin good comment
Last summer he performed here in Oslo when he at the end of the concert took a little girl up on the stage and they both started to sing >Waiting on a sunny day< It was wonderful how that 3 year old girl sang with him and she knew the lyrics just as him
This has suddenly become shockingly relevant, late November of ‘24. We still have rock and roll. Thank you Boss.
Human touch and tougher than the rest. Masterpieces. No other word to describe them

In the end, what you don’t surrender, the world just strips away.. wow! Truer words have never been spoken
So late seeing this, but the louder the better!!
this is a brilliant song about the human condition
one of the best songs ever, stone cold classic
Immer wieder absolut super!
Und seine Texte auch.
Anyone here during quarantine? Missing the human touch....😷
Yes! So relevant now...
Must be tough living in quarantine. Here in sweden we pretty much live the same way we Always have lived. just protecting the old and sick. But people are dying and were out there working like Always. not saying either is right, just saying sometimes anxiety hits you.
