@@eingelvf If they said that then yes. It DOES have omni directional visual cameras and downward facing ones, which will cover you for most day flights. The lidar is more for night protection and it probably aids in the new real-time environment mapping so the drone can return to home without gps. Its high tech stuff, certainly worthy of praise for such a relatively low-cost drone. But yeah DJI does like to "round-up" with their marketing lol
Damn! I was right a year ago! They surely took their time with this! I can't believe they didn't call the Dji Air 3 Pro! Anyway, I got my brand new Epic Mavic 3 FlyMore combo last year for half the price! It changed my whole life! 😍🤩
Well unlike the new Hoverair X1 pro, I guess DJI are not going to release it until all the bugs are sorted, as it's been an absolute disaster with the X1 pro!
Trusting the technology to avoid small branches and power lines will be a challenge, for me at least. I most probably will avoid the too risky areas for peace of mind until I'm absolutely sure of its capabilities.
Is it just me or does the videos on every single review look like crap. It looks really pixelated and not very clear at all. I have the mini four pro and so far from what I’m seeing. This is not impressive at all. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me. 🤷🏻♂️
Rather get a mini 5 pto when that releases or a mini 4 pro when it drops in price when the mini 5 releases. Smaller more portable drone is much better if you are a content creator and already carry lots of gear. I stopped bringing my air2 around because of how cunbersome it is. So i fly my gf's mini 3 a lot more. Which made me appreciate the mini line much more.
So... speeding up the clip during "speed in sports mode demonstration" and using 3rd party software to "smooth out" slow motion moments... Only to "spit" this review out early enough, eh?... lame.
It seems that image quality, speed and transmission are much superior. The AIR 3 is definitely great, I wouldn’t update unless you lack one of the three above

It would be fantastic if that lidar info could be recorded to generate 3d models.

Sure but you don't need lidar for photogrammetry. Drones are used for this a lot, program waypoints and the amount of pics to be taken.

Correct

In the first clip you showed the drone that has water on it. Misleading it's not waterproof sowhy show that?

Bruh, you
Don’t need a “special permit” to fly in the US with this done. You just need to register the drone
Is this compatible with the DJI Goggles?
You fell safely flying with a speed of turtle and constantly watching a drone :D
no surprise i guess, but zero reviews today seem to find any downsides with this ship ...
Don’t ask the crown for permission….
And don’t give the AMA a single dime.
No beacon, no deal.
Where is that? They didn’t announce it?
Why does anyone fly without propeller guards? I'll never understand it.
Some people love living on the edge. 😎
Because you lose the obstacle avoidance! You have choose which is more important..
Why the hell flys with prop guards. I've never crashed and have over 1000 flights and hundreds of hours.
