Bro I was stunned seeing these cityscapes … most of the air 3s reviewers took footages of mountain, cloud, forest, landscape… but your footages were totally different… really loved it …amazing work …stunning
Using Spotlight for subject placement in the frame is THE most useful automated assist on DJI drones. Perhaps nit the flashiest, but as stated, it's really useful to assist the pilot when you are multi-tasking camera settings, light, and flight movements. Not sure if mist are aware, but after selecting a subject, can use the sticks to position the subject to one side, top, bottom, or corners of the frame, and it will stay there, for the most part, when you start moving around. Absolutely brilliant. Another is, if you have multiple subject choices in sight, houses, cars, buildings, and you have one selected, double tapping another on screen will instantly switch to the new subject. I found this when first flying Mavic 3 Pro - it was in one of those "How to" videos DJI makes for stone beginners. Amazing. Try it and see if you don't agree.
This was great. Tired of seeing forest and hykes when talking about drones, this was a much needed perspective. And great composition and color grading. Geat job.
I really like the Air3S and I am happy that I am upgraded from the Air3. But the inflationary use of the term "game changer" by TH-camrs is so fuc@#€g annoying.
i would love this one but the noise on this is louder than the mini 2se i got. the other negative for me is having to register it, plus its double the size of the mini.
I think its a shopping mall built in the shape of a yacht, well if its Hong kong that is, which I am sure it is! itt pays tribute to hisorical dock yards or something close to that
The 70mm lens on the 3S is almost like owning 2 drones in one. The 3S will also withstand the wind much better than the M4P. The M4P is also very portable. If the price differe ce between the two models isn't an issue, I think the Air3S would win out for me. If the extra cost makes you hesitate, the M4P is an excellent choice.
Thirty to 35 minutes of flight time before landing at 15% battery means the Air 3S and the older Air 3 can cover 15 miles round trip flown at their optimal cruise speed of 30mph. Can't wait for my Air 3 to arrive so I can experience more of DJI's technical wizardry. Being an incurable miser, I'll probably wait a year to buy an Air 3S, if for no other reason than the astonishingly precise AI-powered smart RTH that the Air 3S sports even in pitch darkness or when there is NO useable GPS signal. The DJI-Air 3S is the first drone capable of memorizing the position of all obstacles on departure so that during a non-GPS Return To Home, the Air 3S unerringly weaves its way back to its point of departure by daylight OR in darkness. To put it mildly, the computational power required to perform that Smart RTH will be considerable. If the humorous speculation that DJI design engineers at some point reverse-engineered alien spacecraft is closer to the truth than we'll ever know, then at least that clandestine technology transfer has been put to good use for the benefit of drone operators worldwide.
A good friend of mine had the Air2S and I loved how big the resolution was for cropping. I do miss it, hopefully a firmware update could add it but there is no news yet!
I agree but I still find the resolution to be great. The other issue is aperture control and if this drone had that, I could see a huge portion of the market shifting to this drone.
Zuc, have you noticed any issues with the footage due to the lower bitrate (130 Mbps)? I’m currently torn between the Air 3S and the Mavic 3 Classic, and this is just another aspect that doesn’t seem to favor the Air 3S.
DJI has reduced the bitrate on several new products lately and claims improved encoding negates any picture quality differences. ButAction 5 got afirmware update yesterday which increases the bitrate option yet again, so perhaps the drone can follow suit if there is enough complaints. :-p
@@VisionCommunicationsyeah, when people know what they’re talking about , they understand that it’s not really 130 Mbps. Air 3S drops its bitrate to 60 Mbps at 4K 30 and to 70-80 at 4K 60

Why even discuss adjustable aperture? DJI will not offer it on an Air or Mini series drone. They never have, and are unlikely to anytime soon. I would be happy to see a 2 position aperture like I had on Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ it was f/1.5-2.4 selectable in settings. You could see it switch electronically... VERY COOL.
Good information but too many shots of you talking to camera and not enough shots of the actual footage and photos of the drone you're talking about...
AIR3s bit rate limit is 130 (150 air3) , but no one has ever managed to exceed 94Mbps, and when flying at 4K 30fps, it doesn’t go beyond 65Mbps. Additionally, the anti-aliasing filter was removed from the drone, leaving it highly exposed to strong moiré effects. Let’s just say these are rather… bizarre choices.
D-log M is a dealbreaker for anyone doing professional work. Many were hoping DJI was lowering the price point for D-log with this but sadly that's not happening.
Ive done many jobs for corporate companies with my mav 3 and some dont care about dlog so i just shoot in dlog-m. they might add dlog later to this drone though. and anyway, what does professional work mean? do tell as this can mean youre simply getting paid, so amateurs can say they are pros if they get a few jobs. it means nothing really if you look up the definition...how does dlog mean pro and dlogm mean none pro? if the editor can colour it really well with them both being 10 bit, and colour match too then it's all good... you're still getting 14 stops of range in either colour mode. professional means jack as i see that word on every damn insta account now days. but i do prefer dlog myself as it's easier to expose being so flat and with a simple colour space transform you can get it to rec7 in a few clicks, but dlogm aint bad either.
For me, it has been, and I'm sure for others, it has been as well. I find this drone is very well in between the high and low-end markets, which makes it perfect for my non-professional shoots!
I took photos with Air3. The quality is no good at all. My old Mavic took great photos, which I use for my desktop image. The 2S's photo is acceptable. No Air3 bro.

I’d agree if it were true but DJI didn’t have a say in what made it into the video at all. I spoke about what I thought could have made the drone better and spoke about where the drone shines.
