  • The following video compares the visual effects from 2 versions of the classic Star Trek episode called "The Enemy Within". On the left side you can see the original effects, on the right side you can see the CGI effects from the "digitally enhanced" edition. Both versions are available in the same quality on the Blu-ray set.

Cheers! I thought you might mention the LED rock inspired by this episode (I think) that glows red when zapped by the phaser style remote, they’re kinda cool.

TrekkieChannel Ah yes, the wand company make them. They come with a futurist metallic heat blanket too, haha, but basically they are a mood lamp, with many colours, however, the remote looks like a phaser and you can recreate the moment where it gets blasted on a low beam and glows red then yellow with the heat, it’s very cool.

Directed by Sean Penn's father who committed the crime of taking an extra day to shoot it - he was not asked back for future episodes.

Please repost without the constant activation of our peripheral vision with the always-present background star field. It's distracting and annoying. Peripheral vision is to watch for danger, not backgrounds. Thanks!
