    nice to see how you get such a fluffy list up and running. Could you consider making a video for the Combat Patrol box/system for Craftworld Eldar? That would certainly interest a lot of new players.

    • @ProxyHammer1
      @ProxyHammer1  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I’m definitely planning on doing a video on that down the road! Thanks for the suggestion would be great for new players!

    I've been playing a quite similar list for my custom Craftworld, and I'm absolutely including the Vyper and Yriel now, they offer exactly what I was looking for here. Cheers!

      @ProxyHammer1  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are great support pieces and will help out your army a lot! My pleasure btw! Thanks for watching!

  • @LoftOfTheUniverse
    @LoftOfTheUniverse ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Had to watch this one, because...
    This edition I'm feeling: Stealthy, Long range, -1 to hit where I can, hit and run, and finally sudden reveal/ assault when needed to break the stealth. So:
    Rangers, Shroud Runners, Illic, Fire Prisms (range + hide), Shadow Spectres (battle focus + elimination) , Night Spinner, Death Jester, Autarch Wayleaper (both have lone keyword, range + control), lastly the Yncarne (can teleport anywhere (range), tanky, distraction unit
    I currently have wraiths and a spiritseer to tank and force my opponent to ignore my fast frail units. It's not stealthy or long range BUT it helps my units who are to function better.

    • @ProxyHammer1
      @ProxyHammer1  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ya those units all work perfectly in concert! The only thing I think I was missing in my own list was the hard long range anti large which I think the prisms cover!

    • @LoftOfTheUniverse
      @LoftOfTheUniverse ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ProxyHammer1 oh, Dark Reapers and war walkers. They have scout, range, and are relatively tanky. I'm probably past 2000 points now though

    • @ProxyHammer1
      @ProxyHammer1  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LoftOfTheUniverse Haha ya probably but very true they do work well in this type of list!

    I have run a fairly similar list (Little more fluffy, no support weapons, they are a bit much for fun games w/friends right now). But my friends bring some heat as well. One addition I really like is the Yncarne. With some many forward deploying units, it is just agonizing for opponents to deal with Rangers, Shrouds and Warwalkers, when she is waiting in the wings. A five man ranger unit set as a sacrificial lamb, or committing the resources to kill a ten man with illic is an entirely different kettle of fish if the Yncarne is anywhere one the battlefield.

    • @ProxyHammer1
      @ProxyHammer1  ปีที่แล้ว

      The Yncarne would be absolutely amazing in this type of list as well! Synergizes perfectly!

  • @abcdodd
    @abcdodd ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Don't forget Amallyn Shadowguide. "Anhrathe" mean "Outcast", so they ought to be included, as you said. Lastly, I encourage HOMEBREW Rangers; ghostwalkers, shadows, Scouts, Pathfinders, Scout walkers, special gear (Sniper ...pistol, carbine, Heavy, etc), ranger beacons to allow indirect on 2+.
    ....OK. Headcannon rant over. ;)
    I would like to thank you for making this video with a focus on rangers in a real and current, playable fashion.

    • @ProxyHammer1
      @ProxyHammer1  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ya I tried to keep the list with playable models in matched games but I reason think the Corsair and legends outcast units are cool as well! Even though a lot of them aren’t that great lol 😂

    This might be more of a fluff subjection, but warwalkers synergies a lot with outcasts and are very iconic vehicle in Alaitoc.

      Yes fluff wise you are right but in game terms I found them to be a bit worse at the board control game 🫤

    Great content proxy, question , have you seen a metal illic nightspear model, i bought a pack of rangers many years ago , it comes with illic nightspear, the kneeling observing ranger, and 5 others all metal, have no idea where i got it. Unless its just that rare, cant find any info on it. Comments much appreciated

    • @ProxyHammer1
      @ProxyHammer1  ปีที่แล้ว

      Illic doesn’t have a metal model unfortunately 🫤 he came out when GW was doing finecast… however you can easily proxy old Ranger models without the helmet or convert one from the new ranger box which includes pieces to make an almost identical version of him

  • @LuckyMoniker

    in literally any aeldari list you basically need to include a Death Jester with Fates Messenger. it is so stupidly strong. and a Farseer. they are so cheap for the amount of utility and damage they provide.
    If you got a model for Yreil he is a close 3rd

    • @ProxyHammer1
