Badass Vantage EV Mini Kei Truck on ATV Tracks

Trying out a set of ATV tracks on a Vantage electric truck.
First things first, we need to get the truck up and running again. It was originally equipped with 6 x 12v agm batteries that where missing when we acquired the truck, so we decided to use a 72v lithium pack from a Chevy Volt. Bit of issue getting the BDI re-set because the full float voltage of the lithium pack is a little lower than the original agm batteries.
Machined a set of wheel adapters and fabricated mounting brackets to fit a set of ATV tracks.

Definitely useful on a farm or ranch, very cool! I have a volt and want to yank its electronics and put it into my 93 s10 blazer to make it an awd hybrid but i dont have the tools know how or time! But i can dream haha

Super cool project. l really like how you think outside the box. Are you going to make it all wheel drive ? That would be interesting.
The truck is not in the greatest shape rust wise, so we will just have fun with it as it is. AWD would be awesome though!
How did you find out which encoder you needed? I bought a similar truck for 500 bucks from my family friend. It has some of the same symptoms except for when you put it in drive it automatically starts to drive away. It would be throttle pedal order a new one of those I haven’t tried it, but I just want to get a few extra parts in case I need to go that route.
I just ran the part number off the old encoder. It is normal for it to start moving as soon as it is in forward or reverse, but I think you can change that setting if you have the curtis programmer. It is like a creep mode. Information is slim but the electric 'kit' is from HPEVS if that helps
I have a 2012 Vantage I bought during Covid, it was missing the Controller, and I am having a tough time figuring out which Controller it takes, what model is your Controller?
I believe it is Curtis controller 1238-6521. But contact HPEVS as they are the ones that put together the ev conversion.

I bought a controller now, but I still need to figure out the missing foot pedal? Missing contactor, and missing charger, if I knew what the manufacturer started with I can improvise. @@519Kustomz
