These tales of runeterra cinematics aren't different worlds, they're just different regions/countries in the same planet/world. Some of them are even in the same continent. Piltover and Zaun is connected to a lot of places, just in arcane we can see it's ties with Noxus.
It is all based on Runeterra overall as you say, but Bandle city where the Yordles are from wouldn't be inaccurate to be described as another world technically, because it is a spirit realm that is linked to Runeterra but doesn't actually exist "physically" within it.
In a recent interview, Christian (the creator of arcane) said that their next project (effectively arcane season 3 but with a different name) they want to explore other tonalities and as a first example he said more "lighthearted" which heavily hints to a story about Yordles lol
fun fact: the only thing that can permanently kill a Yordel is a demon so they are always cheerful because they are never in any real danger... unless the Yordel in question is Viegar(Mordekaisers personal torture plaything) or Vex(the Yordel who desperately wants to die) of course

Love did u notice it? The "rock", WAS the most important part of the mission! Calling Teemo cute, oh dear, thats fragile ice u re standing on haha! xD Let me enlighten u a bit about, Teemo. In the lore he is a cold blooded killer defending Bandle City from any danger. Thats it basicly about him. Then a matter of fact: Teemo is the most hated champion of all times...ever..and at one point in the official staistics he had the most ingame deaths world wide (He lost this title a few years ago but still worth to mention it). Reason why he is most hated, firstly he is very difficult to play. You have to be tactical and a good teamplayer, if not, u re toast, either roasted by your team for being a douche or eaten alive by your oponents. Newbies tend to fail hard with him and get totally destroyed and good player are feared because u terrorize the entire playingfield with your abilitys. The second reason, and this one gave him to a big degree this hard earned hate. Season 2 and Season 3 in the earlier days of league, Teemo was much stronger then these days, still strong in good hand but what i talk about is basicly insane. His ultimate ability is a shroom he can freely place on the map that acts as a poison ladnmien that is invisible until u get specific items against it. Now imagine a tanky character with very much hp that needs massive team effort to be killed in a amtch, stomping on one of these shrooms and losign half health alone from that...shrooms everywhere...more fragile characters make one werong step and find themself respawning at home. Back in the days u had nbot a single match without a damn Teemo, Teemos everywhere. Thats why he is the most hated character of all times...cute...my a** =^.^=
