- Ha Vy (Annie) focused on the theme of the power of observations and perspectives for her TEDxBVIS HCMC Youth speech. Vy wants to highlight the importance of learning to understand the world around us from various perspectives, also known as multidimensional thinking. Vy believes this is an essential skill for young adults in the process of developing into global citizens. Ha Vy is a year 13 individual from British Vietnamese International School HCMC, who focused on the theme of the power of observations and perspectives for her TEDxBVIS HCMC Youth talk. When I was 13 I could barely speak let alone talk and my social anxiety was crippling. She has a bright future ahead of her.
Year 13 seems to match up with 17-18 year olds or Grade 12 in the US system

I'm constantly amazed by the immense capabilities of this young generation. It's taken me decades to figure out the same things and this little girl just put them into words so vividly and beautifully. Thank you so much❤❤❤
She's very calmly articulate and eloquent in front of crowds. Easy delivering their speech besides I really impressed with her. She has very high intelligence quotient I swear and at this age I am too shy to speak in front of the crowds, I can't speak out my brain was exploding.
at the age of 33 with anxiety of speaking from of crowds...you have to be born with this. its not something that can be learned. i took speech classes. I know all the do's and don't of public speaking...and yet, when im placed in front of a card i am 99.9% dependent on either my recited memory or flash cards.....can't...its the nerves..

This explains the shorter term saying “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”, “look on the brighter side” and “place yourself on other person’s situation” in order to understand the world and make it a better place as an individual. I hope that all of us can change our minds and perspectives like this and spread the influence to others the way she did. Splendid!

I agree with everything she said...it's actually the growing up process. by the way we learn something everyday, when I was 20 I thought I was grownup , am 30 now I still think I have alot to learn...age is just a number.
Wow this young lady is so impressive and truly talented, what a pretty girl both outside as well as inside. I am completely attracted by her beautiful voice and also her undeniable confidence. No ever doubt that she will be totally successful in the future no matter what she does, she will be surely a great leader in any field.
Really thank to my youtube algorithms for suggesting me this vid. This girl absolutely inspired me in many aspects. Btw, I am a 30 year olds engineer but I truly wish I were great as 1% as her 😊 Frankly, I started practicing my English skills from now on because of her.

Her presentation contains some simple ideas that was given confidently to audiences. The form of presentation was organized so well but I feel her was overwhelmed feeling sometimes. It can be more interesting and relax if she could improve the qualitity of contents and be less serious. In general, she has done her presentation as best as she can. Congratulation ❤!

Ha Vy is one of the "omnipotent" student representatives of VAS. Currently I was thinking some of teenagers having weak mentality, and that because of the algorithm of their social media that always provides them relating sadness video, for example broken hearted quotes. It’s contantly comes up due to it’s algorithm thinks that the content is relating to them, and they are fell into it. By her speech, its giving more clarity of about what I’ve been concerning.
Similarly, those who get easily influenced by portrayal of strong emotions on twitter and other social media platforms. This tells a lot about the behaviour of the common public that they will perceive those who show their strong emotions (e.g. anger, hatred, crying) as their heroes even if they have a negative ideology.
And those who hide their emotions or tend to show comparatively weaker emotions are considered as weak and villains in their picture, even if they have a positive ideology.
This means only those are respected by this group of people who shows their emotions openly, doesn't matter if he/she is a negative person.
