I also had many issues with my 280ce missing. I cleaned the injector trigger points in the distributor which made it slightly better. The best improvement was when I replaced the throttle switch…which made the engine silky smooth. I did try cleaning the original throttle switch and setting it up correctly. tested it first. On the bench it tested correct which baffled me, under use it just did not perform. You could try removing the plug to see if yours runs better without it, if it does run better then that needs seeing to.

You could try removing the plug to see if yours runs better without it, if it does run better then that needs seeing to.
Is it running properly yet? I'm in love with that rear blind btw, I've got to try and source myself one of those. 👍
