My main issue with the game is there are too many monsters. 530 could easily have been cut in half and the game would be more fun for me personally as it would be easier to learn on my own. Almost every monster is repeated at least once with slightly different names and a different color at various ranks. Also, "endless possibilities" really means an ocean of crappy monsters and a handful of good ones that you will need to google to figure out how to synthesize because the synthesis system is not intuitive, meaning there are unique only combos that you would never be able to figure out without looking it up or getting lucky. At first I was trying to just play the game and figure it out on my own but it got tiring so fast.

@@WafflesNSyrup91yes!!! It was called “Dragon Warrior” and they had 1 & 2, with 2 having 2 different versions of main characters you could play as. It was one of my favorite games that I loved!!!
I haven’t played Siralim Ultimate yet, but it sounds interesting-I might have to check it out! 👀 As for the monster collecting in this game, I found it pretty fun, but I’d love to hear how you think it compares once you give it a go! Let me know what you think!

Yes, DRAGON QUEST MONSTERS: The Dark Prince is a single-player, offline game. You can enjoy the full experience without needing an internet connection! 🎮
@@ahmadanggra4370 love the series, but this game is low budget and they keep using the same monsters, sound effects and music in every game to the point that i got so sick of them. I literally started muting because of this, especially the obnoxious battle music. It’s not nostalgic when they use all this shit over and over and over for over 2-3 decades. Also, cutscenes and dialogues are so boring and slow. This game belongs in 2003….
There’s like 500 monsters, you can literally have a couple mainline series end game boss on your team. The nostalgia is from the original monster series, DQM joker. And if you got adhd and don’t enjoy a good story an rpg probably isn’t the game you should play, try going for something like Mario party or tetris
@@ash-xb8yq No it is not lol. The only thing similar is using monsters, stop the cap man. All of you out here act like it was the original pokemon when IT WAS NOT FIRST. Not in the monster using scheme anyway, yes dragon WARRIOR was first.

Claimed the AI is kinda bad, but left out the fact that there are settings that allow you to customize the AI

It's literally in the title of the game. That's how all the Dragon Quest Monsters games work
Nice review! What use has the Bank in the Game?
After playing Siralim ultimate, I wonder if the monster collecting will feel lacking luster.

is this offline game?

so bland empty world with slow grind gameplay and potato story/characters... gotcha.
Not worth more than $15....
Explain why
Get a job
Why?
