I just finished the orc campaign, I originally played way back in the late 90s. I had a great time re living the nostalgia for sure! I will say though this game really wasnt balanced as well as modern RTS games. Once you get access to water elementals or daemons, its a cakewalk. Still fun and Im glad we dont have to use a DOS window to launch it anymore.

If you enjoy or have enjoyed any kind of survival game, Icarus is for you, that's about all there is to say on that. The mission based system works great when combined with the rogue-like aspects of leveling the tech tree and perk systems, you get better and more efficient with every drop onto the planet. It's a system that works amazingly well both single player or with friends since your base stats are boosted if playing single player. I played this a long time ago and was impressed with it then, but the recent updates have just made it even better. I had no faith in Dean Hall after abandoning the DayZ project, but I have to say, his studio did a hell of a job on this game, hopefully there will be plenty more coming down the line also.

89 cents on GOG right now. Guess I'll give it a go. (Even though I'm an idiot with 452 unplayed games at present). Doh

Syberia 3 is a bittersweet game. I say this because it was Benoît Sokal last game before his passing in 2021. This video is an honest review and I agree that it is the most flawed game out of the whole trilogy. Thanks for posting.

My main issue with the game is there are too many monsters. 530 could easily have been cut in half and the game would be more fun for me personally as it would be easier to learn on my own. Almost every monster is repeated at least once with slightly different names and a different color at various ranks. Also, "endless possibilities" really means an ocean of crappy monsters and a handful of good ones that you will need to google to figure out how to synthesize because the synthesis system is not intuitive, meaning there are unique only combos that you would never be able to figure out without looking it up or getting lucky. At first I was trying to just play the game and figure it out on my own but it got tiring so fast.

Shadows of the Templars and The Smoking Mirror are the best point-and-click games ever made. In my opinion, Wadjet Eye Games is the only other developer that has managed to capture the same vein of gameplay style with Unavowed and The Blackwell series.

Honestly mad they didn't redo the story screens. It just feels so underwhelming to have them as books, lazy.

They don't make the new regions/quests very easy to get to. And the backlog of quests to get a character to, first, endgame and then to Song of Waves and Wind chapters 8 and beyond can be confusing and onerous. I wish they had fixed/improved crafting as originally promised last year, although new content is great in principle.

I'm already finding this game to be garbage and I"m new to TSW. I saw this TSW5 free starter pack and have always wanted to try out a train sim game since I do love trains. The training center was great at first but boy it didn't take long for me to start seeing all the bugs and stuff in here and now I'm already disliking it. 75% of the Loco's don't even function properly and the tutorial don't even teach you everything. Also, the coupling on most train don't even work, not by key binds nor the manual buttons in the train. After discovering all the dislike on my own terms, I decided to look up and see what others are saying and boy, I was surprise to see so many complaints... yet they still buy the dlcs. Speaking of dlcs, I was shock to see how many there were, and how much they are charging for it, that was a big turn off for me and I immediately saw this game is nothing but a big cash grab, to hell with the player's base, DTG just want money and that's it. No real work was put into this game from what I'm seeing. I'm disappointed because I really wanted to play with trains but it's no fun and worth it if it's gonna come out broken. It's not worth buying especially seeing that TSW 2, 3, 4 and now 5 are the "same" game yet they charge players just to update to a new "game engine". That's just dirty..

Im a huge fan of hp . The lore is unique and fascinating. In terms of the game im disappointed. Very repetitive, seems like it gives you freedom to do whatever you want but in reality you are very limited. You cant truly be an evil Wizard and you eventually have to follow the story as a good guy. The good/evil options in side quests always feel more like being a brat/bully rather than an evil Wizard. World is beautiful but feels very empty. Overall a good game to buy if it is on sale but other than that don't expect to get hooked more than 3 days straight 😂

Why would I want to play Multiplayer?

Is this a Single Player Offline game? Meaning; can I play this game as a single player offline solo with no internet connection? How many hours of content is there? Thank you

i dont really even get why the end of the world is even in the world. Is it just because you reflect on life at the end of it. Thats the only thing that confuses me.
