This video was extremely helpful. At the end, I got a message saying something along the lines of "this device isn't google play certified" but then it let me log in and everything is working! Thank you so much!

Good tutorial but at 1:49 on my anbernic rg353p magisk apk github the assets doesn’t load, so the way i did it was i used my pc to install magisk apk then i put it on a separate sd card i have to transfer back to my anbernic rg353p
Another thing i encountered at 12:13 i don’t see what was shown in the video it seems it's been replaced with a green download button now it still brings me to sourceforge but i don’t see magiskgapps 1.1 i umm tried the latest version maybe it might work but nope play store couldn’t open so i uninstalled magiskgapps latest version then i later found magiskgapps 1.1 it’s in files on sourceforge but in r then click core now i can continue this tutorial, so i did everything you did it was going good but after i try to click sign in to the play store nothing happens uh oh. Idk what i did wrong ☹️

I ran into an issue where the registration process seemed to not occur overnight, I was still getting the not certified error. The following morning I cleared the storage and cache for the google play store and google play services apps and when I tried to sign into the google store it worked. Thanks for the tutorial. Even after enabling the USB debugging, when running adb devices in CMD; it just tells me "no devices/emulators found." Daemon started successfully and USB is plugged into OTG port as well, but the PC just can't find it in any USB port. Nothing even shows up in device manager either when plugging in the USB. I've even tried multiple PCs with same results. Any idea what the issue is? Thanks.

@@TechToyTinkerCompany Sorry, I'm not sure what that means exactly as I haven't done this kind of thing before as every Android device I have ever owned in the past has already had Google Play installed already by default except this one. I was just following the instructions and trying to do the USB drivers install first, which also instructs that when you plug in the Android device that it should show up in the device manager under mobile devices or other devices and it's not showing up anywhere in the device manager at all when plugged in via USB and powered on. Thanks.

well if using android its usually easiest to insert it and format it in settings, if its linux almost any format should work. you should format the card in a pc first to make it show up, sometimes a fresh out of the package card won't work.

If you're having trouble when on the "reboot fastboot" part.. here's what you have to do to get it working and to find your device and complete this tutorial - TECHNICALLY THIS PART IS NOT IN THE TUTORIAL- FIRST, remember the google usb drivers you downloaded? Put that folder, after unzipping it, on your desktop (or anywhere you can locate it easily). SECOND, follow this video tutorial to 9:43. Third, once you're device is in fastboot mode, go to your pc and open "Computer Management", then on the side panel locate "Device Manager", then locate "Portable Devices" or "Other Devices", you'll see one or the other, you should see your device once you click the arrow or double click "Portable Devices" or "Other Devices", FOURTH, Right click on your device and select "Update Driver" and then select "Browse my computer for drivers" then select "Browse", FIFTH, now just locate the "usb driver" folder you downloaded earlier and select it and click "OK", SIXTH, now click NEXT. The Google drivers should now install correctly and you'll be able to move past the reboot fastboot stage of this tutorial, so just continue with video from here. Hope this helps.
Also, once i completed the device registration, i restarted my RG353P and my device was shortly, almost instantly, registered. And heres the exact link to the Magisk Android 11 GAPPS, sourceforge.net/projects/magiskgapps/files/r/ , they aren't so easy to find any longer.

@Richard Garrett if its not showing up on your pc, something is wrong with the drivers somewhere, did you install the Android USB drivers? and ADB/Fastboot for windows/linux? fastboot devices should show the device with fastboot, and when its powered on and connected adb devices should show it on your PC, maybe start with making sure it shows when the device is on, to be sure the drivers are OK.
