yes! I spent like 15 minutes trying to get her to move ONE toe, if I didn't speed that up this video would be so long. They are so strong! And you still want to be gentle which makes it even more of a challenge lol

I found a spider friend (probably some type of Tegenaria) in my bathroom today. It was a very speedy friend, but I caught it and set it outside, telling them that if they don't pay rent, they gotta go. They were very u happy and sprinted back to the door, but I was quicker. Now I feel bad 😂
I found the coolest looking male jumper on my moms car, but we were driving.... he held onto the door for dear life and then we stopped and my mom was like "Kill it!!! get it off my car!!" I said "I'll do one of those 2 things..." he hopped off and I haven't seen him since. I reallyyyyyy wanted to take him home but I had no where to keep him safe in the meantime...

Ugh, I want one of these so bad! This one and the Blue Fang are at the top of my want list but as I’ve never owned a T before, I don’t know if they are too ‘advanced’ for me 😢 one day I will have at least one of each lol
Wait to spend that "Blue Fang" money until you are sure tarantula keeping is a hobby you want to pursue (they're expensive) Do research in your area and find a nice, low-cost, New World species to introduce yourself into the hobby. I personally recommend anything from the Brachypelma genus. They are very low maintenence, (usually) low-cost, and a great way to begin to understand how to keep one of these guys or gals. Happy keeping!

When I found a rotting deer skull a year ago on a hiking trail I colletected the jaw bones to clean and use in enclosures and they looked just like this.
Hey just because you don't see the mold anymore does it mean it won't come back. It's better to clean it out and get rid of it all then leave it in there and it grow back as soon as the moisture and humidity kickstand in that enclosure. Because the mold itself will still come back even if you dry it out as soon as it gets moist again it's going to grow and start to spread.
I love how the cage came out the way the tarantula seized up I'm wondering if that is a natural response for an animal feeding on it and is pics of feet really getting that out of hand that she need to censor them sorry I just find it funny.
tarantula kat I will tell you exactly what type of animal Jawbone you have. It happens to be the Jawbone of a deer. You can tell by length and thickness of the Jawbone itself. Because if it were a horse's Jawbone it would be sicker and a bit longer. Same thing with a cow the Jawbone would be thicker but it wouldn't be as long. But it is definitely a deer Jawbone

Those are NOT cow jaws lol, I used to work on a farm and saw many bones, Those are Deer or Lamb Jaw bones. Cow Jaw bones are 5 times bigger than that.
cow mandibles are a bit more boxy looking, deer by contrast is much more slender

A Seemani are very similar, cheaper, more visible, and less defensive than the Skeleton.

Mold spores exist everywhere. It’s the conditions that make them grow 😉 control the conditions, control the mold.
