I love watching the pairing videos. I think it's really interesting and live cheering from the sidelines when they are successful. I wish you would record and post, but I respect your decision. I love your content ❤️ Your animals are beautiful
Love spiders, especially Golden Silk Orb Weavers....But now Tarantulas are a different story.....Love them as well. I want one So bad for so long, my husband says, No. I can still enjoy them by seeing some TH-cam channels, and at some breeder(reputable of course). I just don't like seeing wild animals in Per stores, But I can Also watch them here on Your channel. Love these tarantulas, So pretty. Hope you and Everyone here have a Safe, Blessed and Wonderful day ❤️🤗👑💐🕊️🕷️🕸️🕷️🕊️💐👑🤗❤️I do have a Phobia, But, it's roaches. I know, just a little bit of something about me. I will Runnn like Forest Gump if I see one. ❤️❤️❤️
If someone had told me last week that I would willingly subscribe to and watch a channel dedicated to spiders, I would have laughed in their faces. I found you last night and then figured that I may as well sub after five videos. I'm terrified, but fascinated. I shall continue to watch and learn. :)
Yay, good to see Baby Bowser again, looks super healthy and happy, i am pretty sure he understand that you guys have rescued him from death. 😇 Your new lady looks super cute, love the ending part, was like *Yawn* *Mumbles* are we there yet? ..Oh a new place. Looks nice. Thank you friendly giant 😘
@Petsolotle It depends a lot on the species you want to acquire, it also depends on whether it is a sling, juvenile or adult. If it is your first tarantula, I recommend a juvenile or sub-adult female, specifically I personally recommend Acanthoscurria geniculata, Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens or perhaps some of the genus Brachypelma, Tlitocatl, Grammostola, Lasiodora, etc. Mainly I recommend a Lasiodora, Acanthoscurria or Chromatopelma, here in Europe they can vary from 10-70 dollars maximum for those species
@Petsolotle It is understandable, you just have to insist a little and show them that the basic species are not bad pets, they are not dangerous and do not need a lot of care, I recommend you show them videos of cute tarantulas to try to change their point of view, or show them informative videos of TarantulaKat or The Tarantula Collective
Hey Kat, It look like a Ground spiders that was in the bag. comprise Gnaphosidae, the seventh largest spider family with over 2,000 described species in over 100 genera distributed worldwide..😱
Hi kat! I love your videos, just ignore the negativity and continue to do you because you inspire so many people including myself to get over our fears and realise that spiders/tarantula’s are actually incredible creatures ❤️
The mystery spider kinda looks like a bit like the little slings i've been seeing all over at work the last few weeks, the ones i've seen are so tiny, they almost look like ants at first. Every time i see one, i always try to relocate it over to one of the bushes in the landscaping cuz i'm pretty sure if my coworkers see them they'll squish them :(
Its body shape kinda reminded me of a species we have here in Australia, the white tail spider (I’m not sure what it’s scientific name is) and even though I know it can’t be that spider, seeing it lowkey gave me flashbacks oof and the chills 😂 I was bit by a white-tail when I was around 8 years old and it was a horrendous couple weeks! (TW: unable to keep any food down and barely any liquids plus a terrible oozing sore at the bite site that needed to be drained by a doctor 😭) They’re the only spider that I’m actually genuinely terrified of haha Hoping that this mystery spider is harmless though 😅
Ok A. I LOVE that he swam over to bowser to eat and 2. My daughter found a baby snapping turtle, like just right out of the shell. Like he was still soft! I made her release hun though once he got a little bigger. 🥰🥰🥰 sooooo cool!! C. You were bleeding when you fed the snapping turtle.
I recognize that spider! I would find them sometimes in my old apartment. They’re smart. I kept two in two separate open target plastic containers because they ‘couldn’t climb out’ one was female and the other was male. I couldn’t find one but I looked in the other container and I found the female and the dead male. That girl tracked him down.
It’s almost midnight here BUT I’ve just received a Tarantula “sweetheart” Kat notification and I have to see the new video!!! First: I’ve loved the first turtle feeding! He is soooo cute and adorable! Thanks to the guy who have posted his comment as reminder! Second: I’m shocked! That A. Seemanni was a MM?!?!? Omg He looks SO female!!!! Sometimes I really don’t know why some Ts you can tell they are boys because they look specifically Male and Sometimes is the opposite. It’s a very strange thing about the tarantulas world! Final: You and your pets are so beautiful and sweet that you always put me in a good mood literally every time I see you and your awesome videos!!! Thanks for sharing this, I really cannot wait for the paring!!! Finger crossed 🤞🏻 Much, a lot, huge, massive LOVE from me! I really love you!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I rescued 2 turtles in one day. The first a box turtle. The second was a fairly large snapper. She was on the highway. Someone clipped her shell and flipped her on her back before I turned around. I got her and released her by a pond near my house. This time of year mom snappers will travel long distances on land to lay their eggs. So help them not get run over.
that mystery spider reminds me of a woodlouse spider.. Would explain why it was hiding in the cork- maybe hunting woodlouse? THey do tend to have big fangs too. idk though!
That’s awesome! I really want to get a large one of those enclosures for my BirdEater. Unfortunately, being a single mom means no extras after bills. But hopefully I can find something next tax season. I love how you set up all the enclosures. Really simple but it works and I like how they look.
I had a snapping turtle once. He was the meanest thing Ive ever seen! Also, the water constantly was dirty and smelled even with the expensive filter I had on it. I took it back to Petco, which I never do. Those animals are so hard to care for.
I LOVE SPIDERS NOW BECAUSE OF U!!!! I love little spiders at home too because they build little homes n chill. Thank you for helping me get over my fear and thanks for being so cool! I plan on getting a jumping spider soon because AHHH!!! Anyways have an awesome day love Tru
i have to say, i have only recently discovered you on youtube and i love the videos, so informative and i just love looking at all the different spiders and tarantulas.
honestly, she is beautiful. I have always been a fan of the "creepy-crawlies" but have never owned one. Where I live I couldn't keep one even if I wanted to. It is very cold here and we sometimes lose power for a week at a time over the winter so it wouldn't be fair to even try. I live vicariously through your videos. I love your honesty about the temperaments and really wish I could gain experience and comfort with the spiders that you have.
Awesome video, I've been watching for a little your show for a little bit and I love how you through all those facts out I'm big on knowledge and learning so I must say your videos are quiet enjoyable. Keep it up!!!
Not sure, but looks a little similar to the little wolf spiders I've seen running around my house. Hoping you just knocked your cuticle slightly. Your finger looked a little bloodied at the beginning before you put it in the dirt.
Hi Kat I live in the uk I have just purchased a female brazilian black spider which is nearly adult and I have also purchased 5 brazilian black spiderlings, so I am hoping to have a male in the five, so in a few years I want to have a go at breeding them, really enjoy your videos, best wishes from brian.
Don't doubt an old male spider a buddy just gave me an acient h.mac and he was barely able get around lil dude came with a walker bifocals and false fangs and he managed to get the job done
I love watching your videos they put a smile on my face every time I watch you and you are my favorite tarantula youtuber keep being amazing btw I love your tattoos :D ❤❤
It seems like a lot of the comments relating to the mystery spider agree its some sort of Gnaphosidae spider, but to me it looks like a Segestriidae (tube-dwelling spiders). Ariadna bicolor could be a possible culprit.
Segestriidae was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the closeups. The shape and proportions of the carapace and abdomen are just typical for Segestriidae. If kat could count its eyes then we'd know for sure. Segestriidaeonly have six after all. ^^
At 2:00 when you’re holding the boxes I could see that your finger was already bloody. The little spider could’ve still bit you, but maybe it’s a paper cut?
I did remember my first adult female tarantula , she was a seemanni , i called her Emilico (everyone tells me is an horrible name but i like it) she did passed away but i loved her, she was just stunning and beautiful, i want to get another one so bad.
Kat. If y'all have never been mammoth cave national park, consider it sometime and if y'all ever go Stop by a place called Sloan's pond. It on the park and has a really nice wooden walkway all the way around it. There are some massive snapping turtles in there. People I suppose throw bread and whatever in to them" not so sure that's allowed since it Federal property" but they come right up to the spots that jut out over the lake for people to have a better view
As a Reefer if I may say… I would not be feeding any animals Silversides. Very minimal care is put in for preparation for silversides when they’re packed since they know it’ll be used to feed other animals. It’s quite common for them to have pathogens or be a little on the rancid side.
I feel like you should keep that sneaky little spider that tagged you in the substrate. It left its (literal) mark and would be a funny little story to keep around. ;P
Bowzer always looks like he has been sucking lemons 😂 he is so adorable. I think you should include him at the beginning of all videos like "The Dork Den" does with Linda in all (well most) of the feeding videos 🤔😂 Let us know what you find out about your new stow away. I hope your finger feels better soon 🤞 Sending lots of love from the UK ❤
I have plans to pick up a tarantula at the reptile expo in my city in a few months. If you have any tips for a new tarantula keeper please share. I'm trying to get everything ready for my new little friend.
Hi kat you should try breeding killy fish it might be cheaper than buying the fish for him and you know where they are from and what they have been fed xx

That pulchripes living the dream of traveling for free and "meeting new friends". I want to be that pulchripes when I grow up.
“Hey, so… I heard y’all want babies.”
Basically a pornstar that flies private if you think about it 😅 💀
Yay, good to see Baby Bowser again, looks super healthy and happy, i am pretty sure he understand that you guys have rescued him from death. 😇
Your new lady looks super cute, love the ending part, was like *Yawn* *Mumbles* are we there yet? ..Oh a new place. Looks nice. Thank you friendly giant 😘
Thanks to people like you, I have become more involved in the tarantula hobby, I already have more than 40 species!

Thank you for owning up to this Kat. And for giving the people what they want 🤣❤️
Dude that Seemanni is GORGEOUS! I hope my lil baby grows up to be like that. I’m lucky to have the sub-adult black/blue stage right now. 🥰

Ugh that’s awful 😭 I’m glad you were able to move her
Yay! Thank you so much! I love that little dude. Best snapping turtle personality ever! ❤️

LOL, I love your videos, but hate the comments that come with them. Bless you for reading some of the nonsense 😂😂🕷🕷.
Jumping spiders and tarantulas (I have both :D) cleaning themselves never cease to fascinate me.
a. seemani great species. mine is always visible and is very photogenic. also stunning stripes and peach colured underneath
i have to say, i have only recently discovered you on youtube and i love the videos, so informative and i just love looking at all the different spiders and tarantulas.
I love your enthusiasm when it comes to Spiders……..you seem so caring 🥰
Bowser is just too ADORABLE!!!!!! 🐢🐢🐢
and he knows it!
Loved it loved the turtle 🐢 loved the end with the clip on the female doing her thing ❤️ 😀
honestly, she is beautiful. I have always been a fan of the "creepy-crawlies" but have never owned one. Where I live I couldn't keep one even if I wanted to. Your new seemanni is beautiful!
🙂
That was a wolf spider that you found in the dirt. They are very cute little creatures, they love exploring.
Awesome video, I've been watching for a little your show for a little bit and I love how you through all those facts out I'm big on knowledge and learning so I must say your videos are quiet enjoyable. Keep it up!!!
Awwwww! Bowser's so friggin' cute!
9:26 Those are some big fangs.. Nice looking T thought, I like the stripes on the legs. kind of reminds me of a skeleton.. that's pretty cool.
Loved seeing turtle boy xx
Not sure, but looks a little similar to the little wolf spiders I've seen running around my house.
Hoping you just knocked your cuticle slightly. Your finger looked a little bloodied at the beginning before you put it in the dirt.
Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday, etc. Looks like you got some nice goodies!

It looked like that finger was bleeding a bit before hand, and was probably further irritated by the substrate.
Love you’re videos!!! ❤️🕷
I agree! It was bleeding while Kat was feeding the turtle ):
Am I the only
One who gets nervous every time
Kat picks up the scissors 😂😂😘😘
I get freaked out enough when I unbox not live things
Love you so so much, ignore the negative posts

Oh first...
Bowser is doing a turtle equivalent to a happy dance!!
Looks like a wolf spider sling I may be wrong but that’s what it looks like.
I'm so glad you turned me on to Fanghub because I'm absolutely getting a mystery box from them for my birthday later this summer
That tiny spider that was in the substrate looks more like a Running Spider. Or the Running Crab Spider. From the Philodromidae family.
At 2:00 when you’re holding the boxes I could see that your finger was already bloody. The little spider could’ve still bit you, but maybe it’s a paper cut?
Happiest 🐢 we’ve ever seen! Hahah
I did remember my first adult female tarantula , she was a seemanni , i called her Emilico (everyone tells me is an horrible name but i like it) she did passed away but i loved her, she was just stunning and beautiful, i want to get another one so bad.
Omg those stickers and keychains!!
fedex be shipping tarantulas. :O it got tossed around for sure.
YAY! Another awesome video! 💜🕷💜🕷💜
I think that was an ant mimicking jumping spider, quite impressive.
Love your channel and they are beautiful!!!
Beautiful spider
Lookit Bowser go, what an absolute lad
bowser is a gigachad
He's so adorable!
Kat. If y'all have never been mammoth cave national park, consider it sometime and if y'all ever go

Well that explains the awkward pairing attempt poor guy was so confused why another male was in his space
Aphonopelma seemani will always be my favourite tarantula
As a Reefer if I may say… I would not be feeding any animals Silversides. Very minimal care is put in for preparation for silversides when they’re packed since they know it’ll be used to feed other animals. It’s quite common for them to have pathogens or be a little on the rancid side.
Nice video, thanks for sharing. Stay cool, Kat. This week has been pretty brutal (I live north of your state)😓
Omg ! That first one really needed to stretch his legs after travelling . He's so long legged .
Love your glasses🥰
Great vid Kat and 2 gorgeous Ts ...
Really beautiful spiders!
Bless for giving us bowser this week! Keep up the amazing content!!!
tarantulas are so beautiful!!!! I cant wait for the day I can own one!
You are incredible. Love your channel and you 😊👍. Cheers from France.
I hope the pairing goes well and that your finger is okay.🥺
I feel like you should keep that sneaky little spider that tagged you in the substrate. It left its (literal) mark and would be a funny little story to keep around. ;P
Bowser is soooo freaking cute 😭😭😭
The mature male is HUGE! 😧
She is a gorgeous gorgeous girl 🥹
I love tarantulas to keep making more vids.😊
Absolutely gorgeous spiders!❤️
Bowzer always looks like he has been sucking lemons 😂 he is so adorable. I think you should include him at the beginning of all videos like "The Dork Den" does with Linda in all (well most) of the feeding videos 🤔😂
Let us know what you find out about your new stow away. I hope your finger feels better soon 🤞
Sending lots of love from the UK ❤
I think you got bit/cut before making the enclosure. When you were talking about the snapping turtle it looked like you were bleeding.
3:57 a mystery is afoot!
Hey, would you mind telling me what the music at 9:17 is? it's pretty! :D
Great video!
Kat protecting her tarantula and basically yelling at the male "CONSENT! CONSENT!"
Just kidding of course, I love your posts!!🕷️😍
I have plans to pick up a tarantula at the reptile expo in my city in a few months. If you have any tips for a new tarantula keeper please share. I'm trying to get everything ready for my new little friend.
Help! My jumping spider had babies and I didn't know now I'm worried I trapped them the nest be touching it the wrong way. Phiddipus Audax
That little spider is probably a brown recluse, 99% sure.
It's not
Great video Kat, just ignore bad comments. I love watching your videos. What happened with the spider bite?
You forgot the sandy texture! @DarkDen is going to look at you with disapproval!
You're lucky your cork only came with a spider. I found a mouse hiding in one of mine as I was putting it in the car, lol. 🐀
Please prepare to rename your channel “Tarantula Kat and Bowser” and recognize you can never rehome him because we love him too much. 🥰
Bowser getting big tho. Noice.
You got a free bonus mystery spider with your substrate lol
When you raise spiders for years but end up being bitten by a completely random stranger that's 1/50 the size of your babies.
#c'estlavie 😂
Beautiful tarantula, lovely owner!
Hi kat you should try breeding killy fish it might be cheaper than buying the fish for him and you know where they are from and what they have been fed xx
You know he is going to get humongous.?. Your videos are awesome, thanks!
Your turtle is awesome!!!
I have an app that is amazing for identifying all types of insects that’s called picture insect. It is showing that the mystery spider is called the Scotophaeus blackwalli or the mouse spider.
Ok spiders I can somewhat understand but a snapping turtle! Do you know how big they get and the power in there bite. One wrong move or laps in judgment can take a finger even damage hands as well as other body parts. A box turtle or red slider would be a better choice. Small they are cute sure but I've seen them grown even gators leave them alone.
Any updates or ideas on what the mystery spider could be? :O
Świetny film 👍 i ty też jesteś świetna w tych wielkich okularach 😄😉 pozdrowienia z Polski 💚
10/10 turtle action
