Great work, no disrespect intended, being in the motor game (own business) 40yrs, now long retired just as a hobby now, the blasting is the way to go as to the labour intensive work with a wire wheel, old saying time is money lol, grinders, wire wheels great for small jobs, back in February this year i finished a two year restoration on my 1989 Transit pop top campervan been in a barn four years and i blasted a few inner panels really got to the rust, will be starting my next car in spring (a bit warmer lol) a 1982 2.8i Capri been in a lock up last 32 yrs and really solid very little rust to speak off, great videos as usual personally for me your in the top three on youtube great channel.

U should buy doner car E39 540i an find one with 6 speed manual box, once u got that engine in there u got a serious piece of weapon. Or even if u come across E34 540i, anyone of them, so long as u get one of them with 6 speed manual box.

My "Top Tip" if you've just sand-blasted a newly repaired yoke, is to then spray the entire thing with a good rust converter - bang the converter into a spray gun & treat it like paint. Otherwise, within minutes, new flash rust that has formed (its formed) will take hold & no primer will stop it quietly working away at the steel. That's a totally pita process - but imo it's vital.
