A lot of the outfits were ridiculous, but a lot were great. In the episode "Let there be light", Samantha wore a black dress to a party. She looked phenomenal.
I liked most every outfit on the show. It’s something that made the show what it was. And of these 10 worst, they weren’t all bad. I actually really like the Chanel tie dye combo Carrie wore to the comic book store. Mixing colors and patterns is an art and this worked!
"everyone wore those wide leg pants and bucket hats believe it or not" those specific styles are literally back IN STYLE. so it's not unbelievable and currently on trend. every outfit mentioned in this video is iconic imho!
Ich liebe sämtliche Outfits in der Serie. Hier ging es nicht um Alltagstauglichkeit sondern um das Experimentieren mit Mode! Wonderful! Einzigartig und teilweise auch mutig!
Oh please there is nothing wrong with the presenters top at all. Now alot of SJP's outfits are horrible. She is way to old and ugly to be dressing and acting like she did.
I put together my own version of her Oscar De La Renta gown that she gets from the Russian. It's a full hot pink skirt with matching top and black patent leather belt 😍
Most of Carrie's outfits were ugly or tacky in the early seasons. I never got the hype over her fashion. I feel like her style didn't really come together until she got that book deal and started working for Vogue.
@trishdadish82 However, Carrie's Paris outfits are extremely beautiful. I am on the fence about that Versace "Mille-Feuille" dress. Sarah Jessica Parker revealed that the dress was so bulky that she had to have two people help her walk to the set. One of her New York outfits that is my favorite is that Dior by John Galliano newspaper dress. Sarah Jessica Parker talked to People magazine about the ten best outfits Carrie wore in "Sex and the City" and said that the show's director Michael Patrick King knew how to shoot the scene where Carrie is heading to meet with Big's wife Natasha and explain to Natasha why she was the mistress in their relationship. Sarah revealed that Michael Patrick King shot the scene in a really long lens from up the street. Sarah was probably crossing Park Avenue in that dress and she looked stunning with the wind blowing her hair back.
Whoever made this video wears plain t shirts and jeans everyday Edit: oh ew the narrator is wearing a basic tank with a cheap negligee purposely exposed and she’s criticizing fashion? Yeeesh
I actually liked the Samantha ones on the list- I’d still wear that Chanel headscarf, those gold boots are cute, and I love the punk rock jumpsuit. And I agree- the blue sequined outfit is cute if you broke it up- the top with white pants, the pants with a cute halter top,
The "out of the frying pan" red top, pearls and tiered skirt combo is divine. Sure, the prom dress is a miss but the rest are iconic. And there are people that dress like this in NYC (I live here).
Probably an unpopular opinion, but those huge, no-chance-to-miss-it brand logos on clothes or as jewellery are tacky af. It's a screaming message of "look, how expensive I'm dressed! I'm wearing a shirt that costs more than your rent for a month!" It's not bold or classy, it's just showy and they actually look like a walking ad campaign.
Carrie was the most adventurous with her style. She was also the only one who didn't have to report to a regular job on a consistent basis. With the column and later her books, she didn't have to meet with her bosses that often. She was doing work from home before it was really a thing. She had the most flex. This is also why the others would call her for whatever solo adventure they had going on.

right!!! there's so much so WRONG about this video here..
That blue outfit and Chanel scarf was just so hot and stylish! wow
That was the joy of watching SATC. Carrie rocked ALL her clothes!
I liked most every outfit on the show. It’s something that made the show what it was. And of these 10 worst, they weren’t all bad. I actually really like the Chanel tie dye combo Carrie wore to the comic book store. Mixing colors and patterns is an art and this worked!
Ironically, Miranda’s bucket hat over hoody look is extremely current now. It’s weird but it wouldn’t be out of place in any high fashion magazine
"everyone wore those wide leg pants and bucket hats believe it or not" those specific styles are literally back IN STYLE. so it's not unbelievable and currently on trend. every outfit mentioned in this video is iconic imho!
I love every top 10 about SATC You made
Yeah.. This one is BS though
They should’ve gotten someone w fashion sense to do this video cause all of these fits are fire 🔥
Ich liebe sämtliche Outfits in der Serie. Hier ging es nicht um Alltagstauglichkeit sondern um das Experimentieren mit Mode! Wonderful! Einzigartig und teilweise auch mutig!
I’ve seen SATC like, 4 times, but I think I’m going to start once again 😅
I find it insane that the presenter has her bra hanging out of her top is slating any of these outfits?
Okay and...?
God Zilla and, she looks trashy commenting on other people’s fashion, and?
Oh please there is nothing wrong with the presenters top at all. Now alot of SJP's outfits are horrible. She is way to old and ugly to be dressing and acting like she did.
@@chadfan45 your no beauty hun
@@fayeray2092 Neither are you.
all this said by a woman with a green shirt that you can see the
matching balck bra and orange nails, NO
horrified
THANK YOU!!! I came here to say the same thing. Dude, pick a better outfit to criticize other people's outfits. 🙄
Hahahahaha
And the excessive tanning
I'd totally wear the beer wench outfit (I'm German, you get away with that easily over here)
Ophelia Nightfall really? Hahaha
Pat Field was and is a divine stylist. ⭐️
Iconic looks, playful and memorable since 90s/00s..
Satc would not be the same without her touch.
So, no fails for Charlotte, nice!
The lime green shorts and blue halter top are not on this list... that one always stuck out for me..
I put together my own version of her Oscar De La Renta gown that she gets from the Russian. It's a full hot pink skirt with matching top and black patent leather belt 😍
The Chanel fit was dope.
Whoever made this video wears plain t shirts and jeans everyday
Edit: oh ew the narrator is wearing a basic tank with a cheap negligee purposely exposed and she’s criticizing fashion? Yeeesh
Caro Line that’s all I could think
on point!
SNATCH her wig, Caro Line!! Snatch it! 😂😂
And I think Carrie looks great in that Diaper Genie scene
SodaSiren she does. I also love the cowboy combo. The colors go so well together
I like the dress and tie outfit but I would've preferred it without the hat.
I like that look too.
I actually liked the Samantha ones on the list- I’d still wear that Chanel headscarf, those gold boots are cute, and I love the punk rock jumpsuit. And I agree- the blue sequined outfit is cute if you broke it up- the top with white pants, the pants with a cute halter top,
I have worn the "beer-maid" style white blouse with black fitted top and jeans. Big success.
Rebecca, love u an all hun but you can’t make his list with your bra hanging out of your shirt.
👏👏👏👏👏
The "out of the frying pan" red top, pearls and tiered skirt combo is divine. Sure, the prom dress is a miss but the rest are iconic. And there are people that dress like this in NYC (I live here).
Carrie and Samantha ALWAYS EEFING KILLED THE FASHION GAME!!!
Sex and the city is iconic. Every character is iconic. Every outfit is iconic. You can't really go wrong.
I wore the white shirt+belt (with black tailored shorts) in my early 20s and felt great
Yup, never understood the belt outfit!
I loved the cowgirl outfit 😭😭 but mostly bc Carrie’s body is so slammin in it
Probably an unpopular opinion, but those huge, no-chance-to-miss-it brand logos on clothes or as jewellery are tacky af.
That shirt is with the belt is an iconic look
Nope nope nope nope nope. Patricia Field is a genius.
Absolutely.
AGREEEEE!!! 100 PERCENT!
That she is!
Girl that sequence fit is everything
Thank god the Bare Belly Belt was #1, because that was immediately the first one to pop into my head when I started watching this video
And that thing she's wearing on her head!
